Was charged for a renewal & NEVER rcvd a reminder or I would've cancelled because it's not worth it!
I could not figure out how to upload my SoundCloud audios until they told me how to find my SoundCloud URLs.
Hi Stephen, thank you for your review! Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support Team directly at customers@backstage.com at any time.
Backstage is a scam never sign up and they over charge you!
Joined last year. Literally the next day they lowered the price and would not give me the new price. Anyway, I submitted dozens of times for different projects and never got any responses. My subscription runs out in a few weeks and I already canceled and got the email confirmation. By the other reviews, I hope it does cancel.
Hi Russ, I'm sorry to hear that you were not able to book any jobs through Backstage over the past year. If you are concerned that your cancellation request was not successfully processed, please email our support team directly at customers@backstage.com and we'd be happy to double-check for you.
I'm honestly frustrated beyond words. I paid to post a job listing, clearly outlining every requirement, yet the people applying aren't even remotely qualified. It's exhausting—these applicants show up without a clue, asking what they need for the role when it was all spelled out in the posting. It's as if they didn't bother reading it at all. What's even worse is that most of them are YouTube reviewers or completely unrelated candidates who lack the skills I actually need. I've wasted my time, my energy, and my money on this process, and it makes me sick to my stomach.
Hi Diane, I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience casting through Backstage. If you haven't already, can you please send our support team an email directly to customers@backstage.com so we can learn more about what happened on set? Thanks in advance!
Have asked several times, but they hide the post date if I want to see the postings expiring soon. So i'd have to double back, or maybe do a word search to find the post date of an expiring posting, to see if relevant / timely to still submit for.
ALso, when click on "FInd a Job" search, classes and workshops show up when searching, so it feels like you have to look at some ads. Either the business says they are looking to hire, or Backstage puts them in Jobs search for revenue.
Either way, its cumbersome, and if paying for premium service, should not have to see these when looking for paying jobs.
Hi Don, can you send our team an email at customers@backstage.com? Our support team is happy to investigate your request further. Thanks in advance!
Backstage was so different 10 years ago, now it's all about UGC. It feels like nobody is making movies anymore and it's hard to find work in my area.
The saved searches don't work, I tell them to exclude UGC and it doesn't listen.
I asked for a refund but they refused.
🤦🏻
