Defective Pool Pump Motor; No Response From BackYardPoolSuperstore I received my pool pump motor one day after ordering. First message sent 9-19-24: "I received my pump motor and while 'inspecting before installation' as directed in instructions, #2 states to 'check motor shaft which should rotate freely when turned by hand'. Well, the shaft does not turn whatsoever while gripping hard with my hand and trying to turn. Please advise. " Second message sent 9-20-24: It has been over 24 hours since I notified you of the defective pump motor you sent me. The shaft does not turn. I did move it slightly but the armature obviously gets hung up on stator or whatever and cannot be turned. Totally defective. In fact I think this motor was likely returned to you by someone else because of the way box is taped. I need resolution to this immediately. Thank you. Third email message sent 9-21-24: I believe the item sent to me was damaged during shipping. The armature is obviously hitting the stator or something and will not turn. Repeat the shaft will not turn around ( only slightly). I want a full refund or new motor sent to me. I need a new motor for my pool. You state your response ti inquiries is within 24 hours. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the band wrapping around the sta rite replacement pool filter should be tight and stuck to the filter. The band on the large pool filter was loose and in one spot was 3 inches away from the filter and was not even touching the filter. The service ordering was very good! Just dissatisfied with the large pool filter!
I was very satisfied with the process, price and delivery time for the filter cartridge I ordered. I didn't like it that I couldn't see when it would ship before purchasing although it was there in just a few days.
Great price on the Pentair *******. Free shipping a big plus! My pump arrived much sooner than I expected. I thought it would take longer, because the store is located in Florida. However, they must have a warehouse in Nevada, because it shipped the next day, and was at my home in California in just a few days. I'm going to install this myself, and save even more on my new system. Leslie's Pool wanted $1299 for this pump, and I bought mine for $854. Dang, I'll try to never have to go to Leslie's again. Their markup is "usary", I suppose if you don't do any reasearch online, you'll pay through the nose for pool supplies.
The link for tracking the shippment was bad. I tried to call their phone number and they were not taking calls at all, which was a little concerning. I did not get the correct link until I went to online chat.

I don't recall seeing anything that told me my item would be shipped from the mfg (in CA). So I was surprised by how long it took to arrive as I thought it was just coming from Ocala. That is the reason for 3 stars on delivery time. Maybe the delivery time was mentioned and I missed it but I don't recall seeing it.
But I will continue to be a customer. Love the service and easy to use site.
Need choices on the shipping. I had emailed to ask if my ordered could be overnighted. There was no choice for it and no one responded to the question. Fortunately, I received it the day we needed it.
I had a problem trying to use PAY PAL to pay for my order, so I went back into your page and entered my credit card. I don't like to leave a credit card using the internet web, I prefer to call direct and speak to your representative. In any case please confirm my order as been received and filled.
I would have preferred the stabilizer conditioner to be in 7 lb bags instead of total weight. I had to weigh out 7 lb bags. The Lo-Chlor gel caps were 1.4 oz. I meant to order the 2.8 oz size. My fault for not checking.
Pool filter motor blew out. Found the best price here for a replacement. Being able to get just the motor meant I didn't have to replumb for an entire unit, it was cheaper and was able to do it myself.
The price was good and free shipping was nice. Packaging was horrible. The two boxes that were used to ship the Pentair Plus Complete Grid assembly arrived heavily damaged and the lacking of tape no longer protected the grid assembly in the boxes. There was no protective stuffing in the boxes which led to the grid assembly to be damaged. A few of the little tabs that hold the bottom and top of the grids were protruding through the boxes and damaged. I'll probably scavenge my old assembly to get my "new" assembly to work properly. If there is a next time, maybe we'll order directly from the manufacture.
We received the order as expected. First, I have never had a bad experience with the LaMotte products, and hopefully we can resolve my issues with the products. We have owned a salt water pool for years, and have always used the LaMotte system.
1) The CH2 has an expiration date of 9/20. I expected a longer shelf life.
2) The ALK (total alkalinity) reagent seems to be defective (reference number ******* / EXP 4/21). The ALK reagent does not evaluate the total alkalinity as expected. I attempted to correct the total alkalinity based upon several readings. After multiple attempts to correct based upon the following readings of 29, 22, 39, 40, and finally 40, I decided to compare with HTH test strips. The alkalinity reading was extremely high. The only explanation that I have is that the reagent may be bad and thus giving me an erroneous reading. Please assist as soon as possible.

So far so good. Lets see the condition of the filters when they arrive. And that they fit. Its for a Zodiac CV580 filter and this is the substitute for it. We will see how it holds up vs. the OEM filter.

Disappointed that there are no coupons available--ever, apparently. Also, huge price increase on Natural Chemistry's PoolPerfect + PhosFree from last year ($28) to this year ($40) is very disappointing.
Good, except the product info and owners manuel didnt match the product so I was a little leary about ordering, but the part # matched what I want so I hope I get what I'm expecting...

I received what I asked for. It showed up quicker than I could have hoped for. I donot have any complaints, other than the skimmer basket that I ordered did not have many specs for the description, so I kinda guessed. ( I guessed right and it fit my skimmer perfect)
This is for The PoolCleaner 2 wheel and Backyard Pool Superstore. Everything with the order process was good. Delivery was good, although I requested UPS call rather than leave on the porch. Fortunately I stopped by the house just after UPS delivered it.
I have used The PoolCleaner (Poolvergnuegen) for a week now and it has been excellent when compared to my previous suction pool vacs I have had experience with. Have had to play with adjustments a little. And brushing the sides helps a lot too. I hope it keeps going strong
This was a replacement order for an incorrect pool filter cartridge which I received approximately 1 week prior to ordering the correct one. I completed and sent your required form to send the wrong one back and have not received a reply with the return address label.

Website was easy to maneuver. The only question I had was what was included with the filter, ie. The filter grids. I called the 800, they were prompt and courteous... Delivery driver complained that the package was not very sturdy! The box was falling apart when it arrived, but everything was still in it! Maybe improve your packaging, since it weighed 85lbs!
Would not order or recommend Pleatco Advance pool filters. Top hole dimensions are slightly smaller than original Hayward filters - thus top filter bracket doesn't fit squarely into the four filters to hold them in place. Had to force filter bracket into filters using a rubber mallet - not good. In addition, the density of the Pleatco Advance filters were not as dense - less pleats than Hayward or Filbur Mfg pool filters. Would not buy again.
I am buying this product 24 bags of Hclor at 49.99 and 2 times this is 2 cents less then100. For this reason you are charging me8 for shipping. I would rather give 2 cents more on the total price and save the rest. Maybe you can do something about that

Evidently UPS had some issues which elongated the delivery time and caused one item to be resent. The company responded and quickly resent the item that UPS apparently lost when they annihilated the package.
Quick and easy to place the order on the website, however there was no update of order once i placed it. The email receipt didn't even have an estimated date of delivery. Also reaching customer service was absolutely insane. I tried to call several times a day, i would hold on for over 15 each time until i hung up,. I also left messages as the recording suggested but i never received a call back. On the 3rd day i finally reached a rep only to be rold that he didn't have an updste on my order. The very next day i received an email that my order shipped. Being able to reach a rep during business hours is also important to a costumer.
Very difficult to place an order. Called sales number and was put on hold forever. Finally hung up. Was not told there were Two separate packages/delivery times until I inquired.
Three times I left a message and an email asking for a paid invoice to be sent or emailed to me by PDF attachment. All of my requests HAVE BEEN IGNORED! No one ever answers the customer service phone!
