I was scammed 27k by Walmart Automation alliance. I made a swift recall with Bofa,but I had the worst experience with this bank.After 126 days the status was still waiting for the receiving bank to respond. They were not even bother to make effort for the other bank to even respond. I requested several time for the analyst call back and the customer service supervisor told me I will get a call back but here after 6 month I still did not receive a single call.I would not recommend anyone to use this Bank. They are the largest Bank but when come to serve to client they the worst one.
Let's start with the Bank of America Branch in Clifton, this Branch is very Professional place to Bank.Jossue is an incredible promblem solver he jumps right in to make sure your getting outstanding service his team is amazing. I'm impressed with Jossue communication skills he has an amazing work ethic his great knowledge make us the customers at ease knowing that you're dealing with someone who really cares. I contacted them in regards to an account that was opened in my name that I did not open. I've had to call 4 times because of them dropping the call everytime wether it be during conversation or call transfers. Everytime I call I have a minimum of 15 minute wait before answering and 10 minutes between transfers. When I have finally gotten through they treat my issue like it's no big deal. The account has been closed and that's where they leave it. I've worked to hard for my hood standing in the financial world to let some petty criminal destroy it and Bank of America has been no help what so ever. Horrible bank.
This is not the same bank I have had for 30 years. The managers are not helpful and there are far fewer locations to even get service. Time to look for another bank.
I've been dealing with Bank of America for a couple years now because someone keeps trying to open an account with them in my name. When I go to try and call BOA about this fraud I have to wait on hold for over an hour just to be told them can't look up my name without me giving them my SSN! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I'm not giving them my SSN since I don't trust them in the first place, I work in the banking industry and I know how things work so them telling me they can't help without running my SSN just doesn't seem correct. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and the way they treat people that are being taken advantage of.
They have been charging me late fees and I'm on Auto-Pay. I was allowed to pick the day of the month I would like to pay on, but now they made every one of my payments for 10 months overdue by 3-4 days. Each charge is $39.00 x 10. I tried to get a hold of them but I'm deaf. All they have is voice until I finally found them on Face Book. By that time it was too late? They just keep right on charging me even though they KNOW it's their mistake. I refused to pay the charges of course so now my credit rating went from 750 - 540. They also increased my interest rate from 10.5 to 14.75. I can't wait to get these thieves paid off!
I had a Bank of America Credit Card for 14 years and called customer service to inquire why my card was denied 2 times over the weekend. They needed to send me a code via phone. I no longer have the land line associated with this account so they could not help me and told me to drive to an actual Bank of America so they could update a new phone number associated with the account. The nearest location is about an hour away. I called a Bank of America and the operator whom answered the phone was rude: Why are you calling here- we are a bank; call customer service. I told him I spoke with 2 customer service representatives and one gave me this number to call and see if you can update a new phone number with this account. He put me on hold and I hung up after more than 46 minutes of being on hold when I realized it was 4:16 pm and the bank closed at 4. This is not acceptable, not consumer friendly and certainly not worth my time. Good bye Bank of America!
Disable Vet direct government VA deposit is fraud when added to account that has little money in it for no activity for over 25 days. Because Disable Vet pay from the government is so fraudulent for our Disabled Vets. B of A must feel Disabled Vets don't deserve their money for our injuries we have to live with for the rest of our lives.
Tried for 2 days to get through after 30 min on hold we get Delores, a customer service representative, that told us to call back. Delores was rude, and not helpful to say the least. You will lose a good customer.
Bank of America decided to cancel my card for a $26 balance that I did not know was due. They say they sent an email I never got. No phone call to get payment or advise me one was due - just cancelled without notice. DO NOT USE THIS BANK. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Customer service is untrained, scattered and just a mess. Had mobile banking issue 4 mosa ago and went into branch to fix--for a while, then this check I never wrote reappeared in online. Now the litany of calls: I just wanted to report fraudulent transaction and get money back--hard? Imfuc*ing impossible: o, I dont handle that kind of fraud and ill transfer--5 mins later, o I dont,,,etc. Finally said would stop payment but rather cashed it and put my account. Underwater. After 40 years, adios mfekrs.
Worst Customer Service, long lines, not trustworthy do not go with them if you'd like to avoid headaches, something simple they make it complicated. I'm not satisfied with their services at all. Most of the time Atm not working. Many Branches closing, low in staff... From 0 to 3 I give them 1
As a small business man in Pittsford, NY for forty years, I constantly do work for everyone in my area. I will not accept their checks. The reason is: They demanded.08 % service charge because I do not have an account with them, am I expected to have an account with every bank in town? How do I get paid from my customers?

This company has no respect. They don't care about there customers. Any company that can't stick with there own policies should not be in be in business. I am moving my business elsewhere. Go to a credit union
After being a loyal customer for over 10 years I am finding a new banking institution. They put an excessive hold on a 20k check. 20k is not a lot of money. I get a few days hold which is what I was told when I deposited it. Then they lied to me because I get an email stating it will be 8 day hold. I used to work as a teller and I know that they can see if a check is good within minutes. A check cashing place can see if a check is good within minutes but the 2nd largest bank in the US has to put an 8 day hold. Why? Wells here's why. They put our money in interest bearing accounts and make money off of our money without our permission while denying the customer availability to their own money. Get your money out of this bank in cash immediately and find a local bank that cares about the customer. I hope everyone gets their money out of this bank and they go out of business. This bank is a massive company that is criminal. I am going to be filing a class action lawsuit against BofA to bring awareness to this horrible company. Please get your money out now. If we all did it then they would have no power to hold our money. This is 2022. Everything is digital. This is no reason at all for a bank to hold funds for longer than 24 hours.

I transfered money to my BofA account. It was mistake that the account was not verified. Still BofA rejected to return money, ignored requests from the sender bank, and avoid to communicate with customers on this problem. It unworthy behavior.
I'm a boomer, and as such, not a fan of doing things online. My account was hacked so I went into the branch at 5001 S, Florida. Alex Cruz was so kind and had so much patience. We need more people like her on the planet. Job well done B of A on hiring her!
The worst customer service ever. They did away with the drive through, and you have to wait in line forever. They opened a Business line, BUT you can never use this, as they ONLY have 2 tellers working every time I have to go in. Stood in a line of 3 people today, and was not aloud to use the Business line, and one of the employees told me I have to stand in the line a certain way. NO one was behind me, and I was still maintaining social distance. The workers at this branch are a joke, and I hate going with cash deposits for my employer, it takes 30-45 minutes to get anything done. I am going to urge my employer to use another bank.
I just wanted to express my extreme disappointment with dealing with you as a consumer. My name is tanya r travis and on today 12/6/22 I was part of the the Zelle scam which is all over the internet. My extreme disappointment comes from how this situation has been handled. I have 4 different accounts with this bank and have been a customer for at least 10 yrs. The mere fact that I have had to contact 3 different phone numbers to get a handle on this matter is ultimately ridiculous. The one phone number for Zelle fraud, one phone number for fraud, and another for online banking fraud. All ridiculous.
Having to wait on hold for twenty minutes to speak to a human also ridiculous.
Lastly I will end with the mere fact I stated I did not authorize a $3500 transaction via Zelle and now I have to wait a minimum of 10 business days to receive the money back for a transaction I didn't authorize fuels my fire even more so. Like Bank of America needs to get up with the times because apple would never ever allow this to happen they would contact me immediately and no one contacted me, I had to contact you. Like what is actually happening right now with this matter? I use this account mainly ti pay bills and now I will have transactions coming from this account with no funds available because I did the right thing and kept my money for bills in the bank but Bank of America didn't do right by me and allowed this transaction to occur and again now I'm the one dealing with the aftermath not Bank of America.
It may be time to remove all the money from all four accounts and bring this to a better banking establishment because you all have failed me incredibly
