“Pleasantly”

I got distraught and stopped the card. But soon I knew mine was protected from such scam. They immediately sent another with a hologram so as to prevent copying it. Also when I went there for current exchange or something, they recommended a couple of cash-reward cards. I am using them and pleasantly getting the cash into my account...

Review for Bank of America: I have been a loyal Bank of America customer for over 10 years, consistently making payments on time. Recently, while traveling abroad, I missed a payment of around $10 because I didn't have regular access to my online account. To my shock, BofA closed my credit line without any prior notice via email. I discovered this only when I tried to purchase a ticket. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through the mobile app and calling international support, I received no assistance. The customer service was unhelpful and informed me that they could not reopen my credit line. To make matters worse, I am currently under a medical situation and desperately need access to my credit card, which is now closed. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with BofA's lack of support and communication.

Bank of America has the worse customer service ever. You can never get through to them and if by chance you do they are no help whatsoever. I have a platinum account and the service still sucks. I would rate them a negative score but the system won't allow it.

Now charging $12-15 monthly fees for each checking account with daily balance below $1500. Doesn't take into account savings balance or any other account balances. Been a customer for 40 years. Disgraceful. Finding another bank.

I have had accounts with Bank of America for over 30 years. Their customer service and strict fees have caused me to end my relationship with them. Unfortunately, they have forgotten how important a relationship with those who bank with them is to maintaining a customer base. There are so many better options that will value your business.

I am so sick and tired of all the BS of BoA. The hours change to open at 10 now. 10 to 4. How about for people that work? No drive through, no night drop. I have to show an ID every single time to deposit just $50 in a business account. I don't own the business I only work there. I forgot my ID today. Nope can not make a business deposit. Out of 5 banks that I make cash deposits, BoA is the only one who makes me show my ID. For a business account, not a personal account. Not even my account but I still have to show ID. I will be so happy when my bosses change their business accounts to any other bank except BoA. 13 people standing in line with one teller. Trying to take 90 year old ladies out to teach them the atm. Seriously you think it's safe for little old ladies to be out using the atm? Well BoA does. BoA. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Over the past few years they have got less and less customer service. They SUCK! Thank you

I'm a boomer, and as such, not a fan of doing things online. My account was hacked so I went into the branch at 5001 S, Florida. Alex Cruz was so kind and had so much patience. We need more people like her on the planet. Job well done B of A on hiring her!

They charge you to use your money and it takes forever to talk to someone. They're systems look like they were created 20 years ago and are not up to date. Not easy to use or understand how they are moving your money around. Iv overpaid because they can't track a simple transaction. I have 4 banks I use, now I'm down to 3 because I will tell as many people I know not to use bank of awful. I have other reasons buts what the point, this bank just sucks.

Done business with these morons for 23 years. So done with them.
Charge for things without warning you -- "oh you didn't read random part of our website's 15 pages of legalese? So sorry, can't help you"
Automated system that is from the 90's; literally cannot process you typing your account number.
Incompetent, unmotivated, idiotic customer service staff -- if you can't hack it anywhere else, go to BoA.

Look at all the other reviews. Not sure how BoA got to be a "global leader" but the only thing it leads now is the toilet, because everyone and everything there is $#*!.

I am dealing with BOA for almost 7 years and i never had an issue before but lately BOA has a worse customer service ever, I been dealing with an issue for over 3 months and not even solved yet, no one to follow up or even pick up the phone. I have filed a complain and many things but that changed nothing, 3 weeks ago, I have received an email from a guy his name is Jordan says that he was trying to reach me out but i am not picking up the phone, which is ''lies''. I tried to call him many time after i got that email but he never called me back or even replied to my 100 voice mail. The worse customer services ever and i start thinking to close my checking and business account and hire a lawyer to take care of this.

Worst company ever. Know that they rich already they don't care about you. Don't fall for their nice offers or any of their third parties. Please be advised they can ruin your credit and your reputation real quick.

They don't pay any attention to documents you send them. They only protect the retailers and have no interest in fairly representing the consumer. There are lots of better banks than these guys, go to one of them.

Business beware of banking with Bank of America. It is frustrating that you need to stand in long lines to wait to do a banking deposit. There only have one teller every time and drive through option is always closed. This bank is located Hudson

I think if you keep something like $10-$20k in your bank account Bank of America still offers free checking. They're not the most exciting bank but I've been with them for a long time and don't really have any complaints. All the online banking and check depositing app stuff works and is easy.

I've banked with Bank of America long enough and often enough to be able to say that this is not a trustworthy bank. Those late fees are not accident, they're by design! Read the reviews on the internet. It's not for nothing that there is a class action law suit from small businesses and individuals alike against this disreputable bank. Systemic fraud in a major criminal scale. I opened a small business account with them and got the credit card account. 8 months later, my autopsy STILL doesn't work no matter how many times I set it up according to their instructions. Nice try, Bank of America. Maybe you'll soon be the Bank of China? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Not going to bank with these clowns anymore either way.

Tip for consumers:
Go with literally any other bank.

Idiots in bank security locked down my account because they thought there might be fraud but won't let me verify my ID without driving to one of their branches in another city because I don't have a cellphone. I've had the account for nearly 20 years. SO they are just locking my account down so I can't use it, won't let me verify my ID any other way. Zero help. Zero creativity. They are just a bunch of idiots who do what a computer tells them to do. Zero common sense. Zero customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Do not bank with these idiots. The only bank that knows what they are doing is USAA.

I was warned by several people not to open an account with them. I should've listened. I had an incident occur on my account which was something that was not a smart choice on my end but an innocent mistake. The lady in the fraud department I spoke with was extremely rude, very accusatory and flat out unprofessional. She kept cutting me off and talked down to me. She didn't save have a nice day just transfer phone to a recording then phone disconnected. My account was closed which is fine but I'm reporting this lady to corporate. I don't care what's going on in someone's account, you don't treat people less than you or like their stupid. I worked in customer service for 5 years and never treated anyone like that. Before this there were instances where purchases weren't posted for weeks then suddenly they post to overdraw your account. Don't bank with them. Not worth it at all.

Everything from basic banking things to home loans, HELOCs, etc... It is hard to get an appointment to sit down in person and often those are used by the BOA person to sell you something. Over the phone is worse. Numerous transfers, on hold for long periods, no one person can do what you want. Typically you have to give all the same information again with every transfer... Just a mess! Very frustrating.

I prepaid my cc three weeks before due date and I figured they would not withdraw the money on the due date. Wrong. They did and immediately credited the cc with the same amount. Getting to speak to a human being? Impossible. My situation did not fit their options so I heard "this is not a valid response. Goodbye. " Yes, their robot was hanging up on me. So I went online to make an appointment with the nearest branch. This is where it gets really devilish. To confirm the appointment I had to accept terms and conditions one of which said that the bank is authorized by me to call my number to sell me services. But I am under no obligation to purchase these services. Who is coming up with these $#*!ty marketing schemes? Don Corleone? Oh well, I am going to the bank to have the credit transferred -if possible- back to my account, (let us not mention the waste of gas and time) and then proceed with total termination of accounts and credit cards associated with the worst bank ever.

After being a client of Bank of America's for over 26 years, I missed a payment by accident on their credit card. Instead of contacting me to let me know, they reported it to my credit bureau and I got hit with a big ding against my 812 fico credit score! I contacted them, customer service treated me poorly and never tried help the situation. I immediately paid the card in full and closed all accounts. My recommendation is... Don't use them! Go to others banks that you will help you partner with you, not hurt you!

I reset my password about 9 months ago and ever since I now have to constantly reset again because it will not recognize the new passwords. I have had to call BofA several times. Today I was put through the recorded messages repeatedly, the prompts before finally getting a person, the put on hold to get tech support and then during the call the phone disconnected twice. An hour later I am really frustrated! When I suggest that their website might be the problem that is where the phone cuts off suddenly, I don't know if I am being hung up on or if they are having difficulties with their call centers or what.

We have backed at the Belmont Shore BofA branch for 30 years. Today I had the worst service ever. I walked into a nearly empty bank--six employees, three customers--and was met by a young man with a laptop who told me the wait time would be approximately 15 minutes. OK. As I waited, this young man was apparently unoccupied; I assumed that I was waiting for another employee to help me. Instead, after waiting 20 minutes, the same guy was the person I needed to see! And he failed to solve the problem. An utter waste of time. And at the end, he actually asked my to take a customer satisfaction survey! Clueless.

Just had a fraud situation with my CC. Yayyy BOA stopped it in it's tracks. Sent me a new card pronto...still yayyy. Then I go to use it IN PERSON and it declined transaction as potential fraud at a store I have shopped for years. It let online charge through just not in person. Called as I got no text notification to clear issue and got politician speak on how wonderful their fraud system is. Yeah... NO...I have been a Security manager for 40 + years. Not impressed at all.

Tip for consumers:
They also offer added security for phone calls - whoo hoo. They ask you for a code that they NEVER GAVE ME. Sweet. So if I can't contact you it's all secure. Fire that guy.
