I got distraught and stopped the card. But soon I knew mine was protected from such scam. They immediately sent another with a hologram so as to prevent copying it. Also when I went there for current exchange or something, they recommended a couple of cash-reward cards. I am using them and pleasantly getting the cash into my account...

Review for Bank of America: I have been a loyal Bank of America customer for over 10 years, consistently making payments on time. Recently, while traveling abroad, I missed a payment of around $10 because I didn't have regular access to my online account. To my shock, BofA closed my credit line without any prior notice via email. I discovered this only when I tried to purchase a ticket. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through the mobile app and calling international support, I received no assistance. The customer service was unhelpful and informed me that they could not reopen my credit line. To make matters worse, I am currently under a medical situation and desperately need access to my credit card, which is now closed. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with BofA's lack of support and communication.

I love their customer reps. Always helpful and caring. I had an issue with my card and they were so helpful and kept calling for follow up long after my issue had been sorted out. I recommend it highly

I just hung up with a person at my local Bank Of America on Irving Park Road and Barrington Road in Hanover Park. Bank of America as a whole has absolutely horrible customer service and I feel I've been with them too long and it's time to make a change. I even gave the person I spoke with my complete name for him to check on my assets there and how long I have been a Bank Of America client to let him know I am totally set up with them and it's time for a change. My next appointment with them will be to bring the documents I need to pull both my savings and checking account from them. I saw the 1.4 rating for their customer service and I can't even give them that high of a rating. If you can't figure it out by now you better start worrying about it.

Unfortunately Bank Of America is not applicable to these and I doubt they would care even if they were. In addition to my current checking and savings accounts and credit card, and debit card with them I have pulled all my investments out and I guess the above will have to come along with it it’s time to separate myself from them

Your bank is criminal for holding my husbands paycheck for 8 days. This is criminal! How are we suppose to survive. We have been loyal clients. And your institution is impeding on our human rights by holding our money we need to survive. And you are unwilling to do anything. You guys are like the MOB, this is criminal!.

It's wars bank they keep sending me credit card when I sign they told me one year free from fees, then I start charging me without even notice, even I asked them they really don't care u told them to freeze it, so now no choice except to pay difference and close definitely my account and found real honest bank

They said I made a payment of 4400. 20 to my Bank of America credit card. I don't remember doing this at all. I reported it right away and told them I wanted a payment refund. They are stalking the best they can. I don't know why they act like they don't know w___ their doing! Never again will I deal with them again. I have reported them to the bbb and my local news channel for complaint help.

Bank of America is the WORST bank in America! They held my check back for 2 weeks for absolutely no reason. The customer service is the WORST. They never find a solution. Somehow money is always being stolen from me. I've disputed soooo many different charges and it never gets fixed. Never going to Bank of America ever again. I don't understand how they're so big yet so terrible!

On 7/20/23 10:30am an Armenian male bank teller was rude and bullied me at Sherman oaks CA. He wouldn't perform teller services. I'd tried to deposit $1.75 and had to talk to a manager. The Armenian names at this branch and accent are tough for English speakers. I hope they RE-hire at this location.

Tip for consumers:
I talked to HeadQ in the east coast about Sherman oaks (91403) California Bank of America. I hope they’ll improve the customer service here over time. No one wants extra baggage and bad news. Hopefully a supervisor will lose the nuts at this location and replace them with respectable personnel.

Products used:
I had to call headquarters about the manager Sahar Sabghi and Yervand Bezoyan. They have extra freedom in Armenian and the bad treatment ends up at the customers expense and jeopardy. If you aren’t bilingual in this location you are doomed to a poor experience with the current employees.

In just 3 months I have been charged over $150 in just interest charges for my credit card. For this reason my balance has not gone down! If you are just a day late you will get charged $40 on top of the interest. THIEFS!

I had my phone stolen. I had to check my account on a non Boa ATM. I didn't realize that every time I inquired on my balance. I was being charged $2.50. Unbelievable, totally unfair. Asked them to waive th fee's and they would not. Unexceptible.

Tip for consumers:
Worse bank ever. After agreeing that I should not have been charged those fees. I noticed more10 days later on June 6. Unbelievable

They are horrible. My card keeps getting rejected on legitimate charges and they take Corey to answer calls. I canceled the card despite the decent benefits. What good is a credit card if I cannot use it when I need to. Disgrace!

I own a small business. These crooks starting holding customers deposits in the middle of doing business for up to 7 days. All my bills and company checks began to bounce. It destroying my credibility to customers slowing my repair schedules. This company need to be taken to court and audited by the DOF. Crooks.!

Absolutely the worst customer service of any financial institution! They won't even cash a refund check written on Bank of America from a major automobile company. They are extremely disrespectful to customers. I am a consumer rights Attorney and will never recommend any client to use Bank of America; I will also be spreading the word to all of my colleagues to do the same, both locally and nationwide. Thank you Diego Gracia (Manager of Salt Lake City BOA branch) for illustrating the true Bank of America attitude towards the general public.

Tip for consumers:
In my opinion, choosing ANY other bank or financial institution would be preferable over Bank of America.

I been with Bank of America for a while and they are frauds they take your money out of your account without letting you know and they play dumb when you call them. I can't stand them and I will be take all my money out my account and go somewhere else. I been hearing stories about them and I never believe them until now. I hope and pray they get a lawsuit and shut down

I had tough time dealing with BOA. I had to close my account and transfer money internationally. I literally had to run from pillar to post calling them up internationally and wasting lots of hard earned money!

I gave up on Bank of America 30 years ago and avoided them for that long. Finally decided to get an AA credit card perhaps not thinking that BoA was behind it. Well, it only took them 2 months to prove that I should never have dealt with them again. Customer "service" is a joke. They just send you from department to department with each one taking a long time on hold and then spend another serveral minutes trying to verify you again. Then it only takes them a couple minutes to tell you that they can't help you and they will transfer you to someone who deals with that (repeat the process). There are far too many choices in banks to deal with BofA.

This bank is so ridiculous 3 weeks ago I had a fraud alert in my checking account, they closed my account and still as of today I am unable to get my money out of my account. I need my money for rent, and they are talking about it could take up to 30 days before I could get my money this is some bs.If I could give them a 0 I would a big fat 0. I need my money out of my account. This is the worst bank ever.

I paid my loan off in NY and 8 days have passed without receipt of lien release letter. Called BofA multiple times and reps all lied to me. NYS law is upon payoff the lender has 3 days to issue the release letter to obtain clear title. Still no release letter received and no clear title. Almost 2 weeks! Do not use this bank!

For the last past 6 months your service have been horrible and I can't wait until I find another bank because I will be leaving. Your customer service reps are horrible and don't know they job and give out wrong info. And they are rude. I wouldn't recommend you to a dog!

I deposited a cashier's check for $20,000 on March 13th. BOA will hold the funds until March 22nd. I could've written a personal check if I didn't mind them holding the funds, but not sure why they hold funds on cashier's check, as based on over 50 years of banking experience, no other institution has ever done this. Only keep the account open because they have widespread ATM access in case of emergency while traveling, but not worth it. Stay away - other banks pay better interest rates, better rewards on credit cards, this was the icing on the cake, so there's no rational reason to bank with BOA.

Opened an account last month for my son. And am already closing it.
BOA is ridiculously bureacratic and unhelpful. My local branch cannot get anything done and the supposed help is rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Absolutely nothing at BOA is for the customer.

By far the worst customer service system I have ever dealt with! I cannot get through to the right person to talk to and every time I get to someone they assure me they are transferring me to the right person and again they transfer me to the wrong person. I had fraudulent activity which is something extremely sensitive and needs to be handled quickly. I still have not had the issue resolved or talked to someone that can help me

The user interface is terrible, and the only thing worse is being forced to call and then forced to talk to the stupid chat interface that seems built to misdirect and leave you on hold. There's no way to change the autopay checking account except going through that hell.

BoA does not send a wire if you are past 2 pm PST. And they do not send it on weekends. So if you need to wire money after 2 pm on Friday on the West Coast that wire will not reach the destination until the following Monday. That is 3 full days! Wire is supposed to reach the destination in a couple of hours, not 3 days. Stupid bank!

Cant take an automatic payment on time, cant take just 1 authorized payment ( they'll take 2 without authorization) cant refund the additional payment they take without authorization in a timely manner. They should start circus because they're nothing but clowns
