The recent site update makes logging into my account a lot easier and quicker. However I still feel like they should have have an option to keep the old login style or switch to the new one. Once logged into the site, everything is well organized and you are able to access many of their tools to help you save, budget, and manage your money.
Review for Bank of America: I have been a loyal Bank of America customer for over 10 years, consistently making payments on time. Recently, while traveling abroad, I missed a payment of around $10 because I didn't have regular access to my online account. To my shock, BofA closed my credit line without any prior notice via email. I discovered this only when I tried to purchase a ticket. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through the mobile app and calling international support, I received no assistance. The customer service was unhelpful and informed me that they could not reopen my credit line. To make matters worse, I am currently under a medical situation and desperately need access to my credit card, which is now closed. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with BofA's lack of support and communication.
Terrible services. I waited 45 mins to get customer services, which did not solve the issue due to the lack of transparency in its policy.
I will NEVER be coming back to Bank of America. I received and email and statement in the mail telling me that a payment was late which I was surprised by because I have automatic payments set up. I called the number my account told me to, and a woman answered the phone. I told her that my account was suspended and wanted to know what happened about the payment not going through. She told me that I called on Feb. 11th and asked Bank of America to cancel my automatic payments, which I DID NOT do! I told her that I never called and refused to accept my answer. She continued to tell me over and over again that she has on record that I called and spoke with an agent. I told her that I was worried about security problems and people having access to my account since I wasn't the one who did that, and she said that there wasn't a security problem because Bank of America is secure and reminded me that I WAS THE ONE WHO CALLED. She then proceeded to tell me that there were no payments due and that my account was not suspended even though my account was showing me in RED that my account was indeed suspended & I had a late payment. It took me over 2 hours to get this error fixed. She was even trying to tell me that my account wasn't suspended. I paid my late payment over the phone and will be cancelling my card after I have confirmation that the payment went through. DO NOT waste your time here.
Most people who've answered the phone have given me the wrong answer. And there is a long wait before someone answers the phone call.
BOA is charging $25 maintenance fee on ALL accounts. This IS NOT the agreement I signed up for. I am a 32 year customer. This is POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES.
So, yesterday I received a notice about a disputed charge that dates back at least 2 months, that they need more documentation about. I have an email from one of their reps indicating that they had credited my card back then, and thought my case had been ratified by now. I try and look up that charge on a past statement, but only the last 2 statements are listed on my account online. They're closed today and have limited telephone hours of operation (it's Sunday). I have 10 days to give them more information, but will need to pay them $5.00 for them to mail me (from TX, I live in NYS) a past statement that is only 3 months old, that reflects that charge. Chances are, even if I pay the $5 charge for the statement, by the time it gets to my house, it'll be too late, and they'll have recharged my the disputed charge, that I thought had been dealt with already. I've never had to pay for a statement like that. Seems ludicrous to me. Actually, I didn't know that, the "Spirit Airlines" credit card deal of 40,000 points free for signing up was through Bank of America, otherwise, chances are, I wouldn't have signed up, I've had issues with them in the past. I have very good credit, I always pay my bills on time. After calling Customer Service, going through about 10 minutes of prompts, that's when you find out they're closed. The dispute I initiated is valid, yet here I am. They don't give a damn about your time and energy, it's about them not you. Thing with banks, credit cards, mortgages, etc., is that one is thrown in with the rest of unethical garbage out there and expected to fend for themselves, including the customer services reps who clearly have questionable ethics made all the more obvious by their innuendos, clear inaccuracies (that you don't find out about later) and attitudes they present with you after going through their biased A. I System on the phone. Banks are in the business now, of screwing their customers.
Tip for consumers:
I would never do business with Bank of America in the first place.

They charge fees for everything! It seems like they put traps intentionally to find the ways to charge you. I do not recommend this bank.
BANK OF AMERICA IN THE PACIFIC PALISADES ON SUNSET IN LOS ANGELES HAS THE WORST TWO EMPLOYEES WHO DON'T KNOW THE VALUE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. B OF A IS NOW OPEN FROM 9 TO 4 FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT IS OBVIOUS ASSISTANT MANAGER MAXIME LEDUCONTI AND A BLOND SHORT HAIR OLDER WOMEN DON'T LIKE TO WORK. THEY BALANCED THE TELLER LINES BEFORE THE OFFICE LOCKED THE DOOR AND CLOSED. WE WERE IN LINE AND THE OLDER WOMAN AHEAD OF ME WAS IRATE WHEN THEY TOLD HER THEY WERE BALANCED AND COULD NOT PROCESS ANY TRANSACTIONS. IT WAS BEFORE 4 AND THE SO CALLED ASSISTANT MAXIME TOLD HER THAT HE HAD NOT LOCKED THE DOOR BUT DID NOT WANT TO PROCESS HER TRANSACTION. ANOTHER OLD MAN WAS THERE AND WAS TRYING TO DEPOSIT 2 COIN BAGS INTO BUSINESS ACCOUNT. HE WOULD NOT DO IT AND TOLD MAN TO TAKE TWO BAGS OUT OF OFFICE. HE TOLD THEM HE WAS DISABLED AND HAD HELP BRINGING THEM TO DOOR OF OFFICE AND COULD NOT CARRY THEM TO CAR. HE REFUSED TO HELP AND BECAME VERY NASTY AND SHOWED HIS TEMPER. THE OLDER BLOND WOMAN SAID SHE WOULD TAKE THEM TO HIS CAR BUT WHEN SHE GOT OUTSIDE THE OFFICE SHE DUMPED BAGS AND SIDEWALK AND TOLD CUSTOMER OFF AND LEFT. THIS IS ON PAR WITH THE SERVICE I SEE EVERYTIME I GO INTO OFFICE BUT THIS WAS THE WORST. THESE TWO EMPLOYEES ARE THE MAJOR PROBLEM. THE OTHER EMPLOYEES DON'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING FIRED. THIS WAS THE FIRST SATURDAY OPEN AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THESE TWO DID NOT LIKE WORKING A FULL DAY ON SAT. BANK OF AMERICA IS NOT THE COMPANY IT USED TO BE. MOST OF MY FRIENDS HAVE CLOSED THEIR ACCOUNTS. I DON'T THINK B OF A CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE. SAD BUT TRUE.

REVIEW OF INCIDENT ALREADY EXPLAINED I OBSERVED THIS IN OFFICE ON SAT 7/9/2022
BofA credit cards are completely unreliable payment tool. Here is the story of how BofA blocked my credit card for now reason. Namely, after attempt to pay with my BofA so called "credit card" in the grosery store, guy behind the register showed me a screen with "fraud attempt" message - what an embarrisment... Immediately after, I called BofA customer service and after going trough all possible and imposible motions related to indentity verification - they "unblocked" my credit card. Half hour later after attempt to use the card - it was blocked again (possibly it was never unblocked). Again, I call the "customer service" and again I went trough all kind of verification checks... This time response was: "We can't verify your indentity over the phone - you should go to the bank with ID". It was most idiotic request I ever encounter with BofA "competent" customer service. Since I was intrigued, I called BofA customer service again and after going trough the process, unexpectedly polite agent unblocked my card. Well, card was working wonderfully for a day and guess what? It was blocked again. Again I called customer service and again I've heard the story of going to bank and indetyfying myself. This is all after being a customer for 24 year and being preffered "Platinum Member"- what a joke. This story happened within 48 hours and prior to this, the same card was blocked/unblocked a week ago. Finally advise - don't deal with this idiots. What happens with my credit card could be a sign of BofA insolvency. For those keeping savings there is maybe a time to look elsewhere.

I just wanted to express my extreme disappointment with dealing with you as a consumer. My name is tanya r travis and on today 12/6/22 I was part of the the Zelle scam which is all over the internet. My extreme disappointment comes from how this situation has been handled. I have 4 different accounts with this bank and have been a customer for at least 10 yrs. The mere fact that I have had to contact 3 different phone numbers to get a handle on this matter is ultimately ridiculous. The one phone number for Zelle fraud, one phone number for fraud, and another for online banking fraud. All ridiculous.
Having to wait on hold for twenty minutes to speak to a human also ridiculous.
Lastly I will end with the mere fact I stated I did not authorize a $3500 transaction via Zelle and now I have to wait a minimum of 10 business days to receive the money back for a transaction I didn't authorize fuels my fire even more so. Like Bank of America needs to get up with the times because apple would never ever allow this to happen they would contact me immediately and no one contacted me, I had to contact you. Like what is actually happening right now with this matter? I use this account mainly ti pay bills and now I will have transactions coming from this account with no funds available because I did the right thing and kept my money for bills in the bank but Bank of America didn't do right by me and allowed this transaction to occur and again now I'm the one dealing with the aftermath not Bank of America.
It may be time to remove all the money from all four accounts and bring this to a better banking establishment because you all have failed me incredibly
I have banked with Bank Of America for 12 years. I have 3 credit cards with them, and I have not been late on 1 payment in 4 years since I got them. I did not violate any rules or do anything wrong. BOA closed all 3 of my cards with no warning this week. When I called asking why? Nobody could tell me? They said I would receive a letter in the mail which I have not received. I can't get anyone on the phone to answer anything. And there are no branches anywhere near me, because they shut them all down! So what do you you do with this? My credit score temporarily dropped due to an installment loan I took out for an oxygen machine I had to have. I lost my partner in 2018 to cancer. And I have still paid my credit cards on time through all of it. Loyalty? BOA has none. Customer service? None... Locations in accessible locations? Nope... and did I mention that I had twice the money in my BOA account to pay off the cards? Yep I did. And a BOA credit person who makes 12 bucks an hour, couldn't call me on the phone to ask what was up? Or, hey. Can you pay off these cards? Or anything? Nope nope nope. So they just screwed my credit by taking away 8k in credit available by closing accounts, I would have just pd off had they asked. I was just waiting for a 10 day hold to come off my account for a check I deposited to pay them. Don't waste your time with these jerks. Don't put your credit health be in Bank Of America's hands. Because they don't care about destroying lives of their customers. Especially during Covid loss to many families who are still suffering and fighting to keep lives going. They certainly didn't care about me at all.
Tip for consumers:
That they were considering closing my accounts before they did it? Like why no phone call?

My name is Sonia Quintero and I have been a client from Bank of America for 18 years and I think it is incredibly disrespectful and embarrassing how this bank goes out of their way to take advantage of their clients and how poorly they treat you in the customer service front for the sake of lining their own pockets. About a week ago, I deposited a large sum of money in my savings that my brother gave to me for the sake of my livelihood. My check was placed on hold, despite the teller telling me that there was no hold on my account. Now, conveniently there is a hold on my money until January 5,2022. When I went to call, the lady was extremely disrespectful, and said that the bank did not have my money, even though I had deposited the check myself. To make matters even worse, they wanted to charge me a maintenance fee for not having the amount needed in that account, even though I already deposited it a while ago. That money was taken out of my brothers account that same day that I deposited that check, so I don't understand how this bank all of a sudden doesn't have MY money, and yet they wanna charge me for stealing MY money. I am completely shocked at how badly I was treated, when it is the banks fault that they are incredibly inadequate and like to play with their customers money. That is corrupt and incredibly disgusting. That is my rent money, but some pig decided to use it because they think they have jurisdiction over someone else's money. Horrible bank! Once my money is made available, I will make sure I can change to another bank, as I don't want people stealing my money. I'm writing this to warn people that their money is as risk. They will use and steal your money because they do not care what happens to you. Disgusting!
Bank Of America Review
Bank Of America Fraud Dept Credit Card is beyond the worst employer you could ever work for, has the great pay but management and supervisors do not treat every employee with respect they don't not care if you attend school or not, i have just started college i have requested to change my availability several times every request has been denied by god know what "CLIENT" is and they been asking for proof of me going to school when really i don't need to provide that information as long as i request it that's it i'm only 20 years old i'm not stupid ik how $#*! works and im smart and also i have been put on suspension leave without pay due to internet problems and a situation that happened with the calls, my supervisor advised that the calls seem like i was rejected or hanged up on, When really my internet was failing due to and outage in my area i didn't advise my supervisors which i really didn't think it was going to be a big deal, so now i have been TERMINATED due to the situation but not only BOFA i am contracted with Advance Call Center Tech. Where i've tried to get a hold of somebody that could help me with situation i have a 3 y/o child and rent and bills i have to pay and for this to happen is heart breaking this is the reason why BANK OF AMERICA has high call volumes due to the lack of employees thanks so much BOFA i will not recommend anyone at all work for this STUPID company.
This is the worst merchant to use for merchant services. Horrible service. Horrible integrity. Either believe the review or learn for yourself.
