I got distraught and stopped the card. But soon I knew mine was protected from such scam. They immediately sent another with a hologram so as to prevent copying it. Also when I went there for current exchange or something, they recommended a couple of cash-reward cards. I am using them and pleasantly getting the cash into my account...
Review for Bank of America: I have been a loyal Bank of America customer for over 10 years, consistently making payments on time. Recently, while traveling abroad, I missed a payment of around $10 because I didn't have regular access to my online account. To my shock, BofA closed my credit line without any prior notice via email. I discovered this only when I tried to purchase a ticket. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through the mobile app and calling international support, I received no assistance. The customer service was unhelpful and informed me that they could not reopen my credit line. To make matters worse, I am currently under a medical situation and desperately need access to my credit card, which is now closed. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated with BofA's lack of support and communication.
STAY AWAY FROM BANK OF AMERICA! Charging you for overdraft fee for 5 times in a single night for $35 each. You don't receive any warning when you are charged overdraft for the first time because they make it when you sleep at night. How $#*!y! Other banks gives you couple days to make deposit if your balance goes negative, they do not charge you overdraft fee! But boa does very badly. Always transactions are reflecting days later, orders are changing so you can never track properly! I called them for refund, at least for partially refund but even supervisor rejected, not fair!
Another thing; you pay your credit card, it is withdrawn from your checking account sooner but you can NOT see available in your credit card accounts for DAYS! This bank sucks, not friendly, trying to put you worse position, without warnings and helps! I have lot more to say!
Bank of America made a mistake when I opened a savings account and linked by Bill Pay feature to the savings account. This caused issues as money was not being taken out of my checking account and then i received a notice my Savings account was being cancelled due to too much money coming out. The Customer service is horrible and takes weeks to meet with someone in person. I recommend going to a different bank, that is what i am doing currently.

Do not use this bank they are now keeping your checks on hold for 2 weeks before giving you your money! Have had them for almost 25 years and will now be looking for a new bank. Absolutely unacceptable to make people wait 2 weeks for a check to clear! Nonsense

Letting these lowlife use America in their name is a disgrace. I will never use them, not an ATM. All the govt bailouts and they attack me. $#*! this Bank. If you believe in and Love America. I live with a friend who works from home for Bank of America. I can hear just a little bit about what goes on. He has to work on every major holiday regardless of it being the only time he gets to see his kid. If he even thinks about having that day off he gets yelled at. Customers are allowed to yell and cus at him and he isn't allowed to do anything! He can't even ask them to stop. If you plan on working for them, I suggest you have a very high tolerance for getting told your worthless and nothing... from the customers and the business.
I sent my Visa Pmt 2 wks early, so I could visit my grandkids for Christmas. BOA decides at last minute to increase my minimum pmt by $5 w/o telling me. I found out when I returned home & immediately sent another full Pmt. It was 1 day late! Haven't been late in 30 yrs. Mgr refused to issue me grace on it. Closing it today!

Lady told me over the phone 12 days ago that my new debit card (which I had to order due to fraudulent activity) would be delivered within a week. I was patient, but called today to check on it to find out where it was, and new lady told me that they NEVER delivered it. Ridiculously unbelievable. When I asked if they could overnight it, even under the circumstances I would be charged. I said forget it- I'll get it when it gets here. Customer service is pathetic.
I am on my 21st call into Bank of America to resolve what should be a simple matter to resolve -- 4 fraud charges that keep cycling back on my account. Managers have said they would call back; they have not. I would suggest that no one use Bank of America as they have such serious operational issues, it's frightening. Too bad Alaska Airlines has them as the bank for their credit card. Below are the charges they keep charging and then crediting and then charging again.

With their customer service sucks. They have ignored me, disconnected me, passed me to 5 different departments. I have left SEVERAL messages the first week of November and to date 11-20-2022 not one of those messages have been returned.
There is more to the story. I had to prove that I was authorized to get permission to access my dad's accounts, however a person not even related hurried to the bank and emptied my dad's checking and savings account. B of A issued them checks to illegally receive those funds. Go figure! I give them a 0 rating but was forced to give them 1 star. Boo hiss
I wanted to transfer some money from B of A to an interest bearing account. I asked four staff members how much I could transfer and was given answers from $1,000 (in branch) to $1,000,000 on line. I tried $25,000 and it was refused by the Bank! CRAZY!
Bank of America is a scam. They use the best customer service to me but now you'll see yourself hang on the phone for 5 hours without a simple solution or an answer to my questions. I was on the phone with them for 5 hours asking for a paper Bank of America already sent me, and I talked to more than 10 people and nobody could handle my problem. I have never seen them so useless and so unprofessional. One of them even hung up on me as I was talking.
I can never get their stupid automated service to get me to a live person who can fix their intended issues! The automated waste only tells of the simple things such as dispute or give some list but not for what you need to speak to an actual person about! Using the automated service brings you into a circular trap! You either tell it to get a person, it tells you it needs more info yet the info is limited only to the options you had in first place. Then if you still refuse and want an actual person you get the "I'm sorry I can't help you. Do call back again" routine!
Bank of America is taking money out of the consumers, personal bank account, making it impossible to talk to a live person, refusing to give back the money that they outright stole.

Set up an estate account. When it distributed, they charged $25 dollars service, and appear to intend to charge it monthly. As her rep, they are holding me liable. Horrible, especially while dealing with a death, and all of this with an account set up for this person by them!
Somebody should file a class-action suit!
I received a notice that I was pre-approved for a $700 credit card. I submitted my application and soon received a card in the mail. I bought a few items and made a few payments with no issues. One month I was late so I doubled the next one. Instead of communicating any problems to me, they froze the account. To remedy this and as an act of good faith, I paid almost $800 to the account online. Did they send me a thank-you note, or even a receipt? No. They responded by cancelling the account. If I had known how ridiculous BOA was, I would have kept my money and given them a valid reason to drop me. Do NOT waste your time by banking with this company!
We were advised by our bank to go to the BOA on Mill Plain in Vancouver,Wa to get a Medallion Certificate as advertised on their website. We were told flat out that that no, they would not do this service bcs we aren't customers.

I have been with Bank Of America for 7 years and it is time for me to change as over time I saw how horrible they are to their customers. It is a shame how they can't even try to help you over the phone or in person. I called the bank to get me with the charge and they were horribly bad to help. I'm about to close my account and never again this company. Very disappointed.
I have been trying for 8 days to get online access and have stayed on phone for hours and been in branch twice spending 2-3 hours each time and still no one can help me resolve it. I have been transferred from 1 department to another and been given different numbers to call from each representative and it was of no help. Seemed like client support did not understand and kept sending to diff person. This was extremely frustrating. I kept my patience for over 7 days, but now I am tired of not getting any help. I am in distress and have wasted my precious time because of un helpfulness. This is the worst customer service ever.
You would think as much money as they steal from us in bs fees they would hire people so you wouldn't wait so long to speak to a representative. Then when you do get someone your an inconvenience and most times they won't help they just tell you to call back. No F that help me now I've wasted enough on this already. There were three customers who tried to cash in a check, but the lady, I think her name is Jenice is being prejudice and racist towards different race and won't do it for them. Maybe I should change a different bank that shows great customer service and tolerance. Bank of America is Racist.
I have been BOA customer for many years. I hold multiple accounts with this bank and I have platinum status.
Recently there was a "business decision" made on the part of the bank where they have decided to hold payroll checks for 2 weeks, from the same place I have been depositing them from for the past 3 years.
If this is now a standard practice with BOA, I plan to shut down all of my accounts and move my business elsewhere.
Little by little the banking hours are getting shorter. I usually go in to work later on Friday so I can go to the bank at 9:00 first. Now they just. Changed the hours from 10:00-4:00. I guess that's fine if you don't hVe a job, but then you probably don't need a bank

The drive throughs have no people, so it forces you to go into the branch. Two staff member per 15 people on line. It literally took me 1 hour just to make a deposit. Plan to wait a long time before being serviced
It is the worst bank ever I have ever seen! They simply stole my money! It is 4 months they double charge me and every time they just promise you will receive the money this week in two days! But they never sent my money back! I am gonna sue them! Every time I waste my time 1 hour on phone and they just give me some lies
The worst customer service ever. They did away with the drive through, and you have to wait in line forever. They opened a Business line, BUT you can never use this, as they ONLY have 2 tellers working every time I have to go in. Stood in a line of 3 people today, and was not aloud to use the Business line, and one of the employees told me I have to stand in the line a certain way. NO one was behind me, and I was still maintaining social distance. The workers at this branch are a joke, and I hate going with cash deposits for my employer, it takes 30-45 minutes to get anything done. I am going to urge my employer to use another bank.
