I signed up so I could find some long lost high school buddies of mine. We all moved to separate cities and eventually lost track with each other. Finding them through regular social media platforms has proven itself to be quite difficult, so I opted to try Check People. The site was easy to navigate and I was able to locate my friends within minutes. The site is almost addictive! I'm going to search for some old relatives and more friends from back in the day, in hopes to reconnect with everyone.
They sent me TWO faulty barrels thst leaked, then tried to blame me for the faulty barrels. They have NOT given me a refund nor a new barrels. This company has awful customer service and won't reply to you once you review them, order your barrels from redhead barrels instead.

I ordered a Whisky Advent Calendar. Paid $50 and received this junk in my package. When communicating with the company they offered a refund of 6$ to start. Their final offer was 13$. It's not what I ordered nor what was advertised. I believe the website is a scam and recommend not ordering anything from them.

We do not sell Advent Calendars can you please verify from who you bought it and put this review on their website accordingly, again we do not sell this item and we did not sell it to you. I believe this may have been an honest confusion but please correct as we are not in anyway associated with this so called calendar or whichever company sold it to you.
Orders a barrel on April 11. Paid for 2 business day shipping. Today is the 17th and still no barrel. I've sent an email to which they replied, your order shipped. No tracking number either. Wish I had read the reviews beforehand!

I ordered a barrel on 03/13 for a birthday gift. The birthday was in mid April. After a week without any shipping info being sent to me I contacted them. They finally replied that it was sent and I received the tracking number. Never received my barrel and after 8 emails and thirty days I haven't received either the barrel or a refund. Barrelsonline has said that the opened an investigation with FEDEX and thinks FEDEX lost the package. I just want my money back!
I have purchased 6 barrels from them 2 are 10 ltr and 4 are 20 ltr.
They all looked good initially and sealed in a day or two.
About 6 months into aging two things happened. The aging noted by color and flavor stopped and the barrels started to leak. The leaks are small by cost me 30% of the contents. I contacted barrelsonline and they said I should check the barrels often and use barrel wax liberally.
Shame on me for buying so many and not doing daily checks.
I have switched to redhead and gotten outstanding results. No leaks and MUCH faster aging.
As for their response of me not being a customer. They should review my order history!
Lying is not an acceptable response to bad customer service.

We have searched for this customer and have not found anything ordered by him and we never suggest using wax that is simple not true. I believe this is a nasty move by the competition redhead barrels. Please do not use those nasty business practices to get more customers.

I ordered a 3L barrel with custom engraved text on 10/27 and received it today 11/10. I had tracking info once it was shipped. It looks fantastic. Very excited to give this to my dad for Christmas.
I wanted to buy 2 barrels and have them sent to the UK in time for Christmas. I was quoted the wrong price in an email. It was then corrected in a second email 2 days later, yet no option on their website showed the new amount, just a cost 3 times the amount. Someone responds to the email usually 2 days later with partial information, and they wont do business over the phone or respond to phone messages. I have not bought anything and based on other reviews this company has a lit of issues. If you can pay and receive the barrels maybe it might work out?
I ordered a barrel weeks ago received an email asking to send more info on shipping address and my email(ironically I was asked my email via email)... I replied(10 times) still have yet to get an answer. Never given a tracking #. Its time for me to get my best friends father involved who happens to be a prestige business lawyer

We purchased 6,3 liter barrels we conditioned them as instructed then put our mixes in them for our wine and bourbon bar each one at some point leaked. The company initially responded to our emails, asked for videos, which we did not have any because we had emptied them. We said we would return all the barrels, we have heard nothing. I am on the verge of suing them, i will do this out of principal
I have gotten four barrels from them now all arriving within 3 weeks of my order after my first order I then went and read reviews and felt scared and unsure but they have laid all my fears to rest and have been truly honorable in ensuring that I receive my barrels in good shape all are in use and none have leaks.
Tip for consumers:
Don't listen to all of the bad press their factory is in Guadalajara which is near tequila Mexico they ship from Guadalajara to Texas to wherever in America you want and they have laser engraving for the front

After two weeks curing and toped it off every day, I was starting to worry about mold so I emptied it and refilled with two teaspoons critic acid and Luke warm water. Been another week and a half now and it has slowed to about an ounce a day. Well here's my though's, I think I"ll blow some light very fine sanding dust all around it and see where it sticks to,[just might stick to the wet spots] and try sealing it with wax. Yes they arn't very good at answering emails and never answer the phone. But here I am, a life time of wood working and wooden boat work, so I'll see what I can get it to do
Check people's site was clear and easy to use. The billing is also clear so I think people are just not reading the entire page before signing up. I found the results to be very accurate and detailed. I'm going to keep my subscription to continue to use the site.
My 10 liter barrel arrived a couple days early and I really couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I purchased Barrel with the brass rings to avoid rusty or paint bleeding. I immediately cleaned and filled my barrel as recommended in your instructions. I had very minor seeping for about 1 hour and then the barrel appeared to have completely sealed. I have added a few ounces of water for 2 days which I assume is water absorption by the wood. Thanks for a great product for a fair price.
The barrels are nice and the embossing is cool that it is on the barrel, not on a piece of wood glued to the barrel. However, my first barrel took 1.5 months to get and it had a leak. The replacement is already 2 months and still have not received it yet.
Ordered a 5l barrel. The spigot is poor quality. Does not work and it leaks. It was a xmas present. Reached out to them 4 times before I got a response. They said they would mail a new spigot on the 16th. Never Arrived. Bummer as it was a xmas gift and was engraved. I will reach out to another company to see how to fix it.

So I ordered a barrel on 11/30/22 and they did not respond via email until 12/5/22 i paid the invoice on 12/6/22. NO CONTACT for several weeks, I sent email upon email and they will not respond to me, they do not have a contact number and when they finally responded they sent me a tracking number that was delivered 11/28/2022. I have the emails, there is no way this was my tracking number. Then I do not hear from them for several days 12/19/2022 and they send me a new tracking number saying the items should be delivered shortly, however now it is coming after Christmas, and still no response to my email/.
Placed an order for a 5 liter barrel - finally arrived and when I opened the box found that it was missing the spigot and bung stopper for fill port. Notified them immediately and was told to check the package for a small bag taped to the stand. I informed the I did and they were not shipped. 3 days later after email each day trying to get a tracking # for my missing items, I finally get a response from them telling me they reviewed my order and agree they did not ship the missing items with the barrel and they will ship them today! So 1st they accuse the customer of lying, 2nd their mistake they should make up for it by expediting that missing items ASAP next day delivery for sure. Now still have not received the missing items and can't get ahold of them.
At first I was skeptical and was afraid to order after reading the reviews, I received my barrel today and was pleased with the craftsmanship of the Barrel I had no issues with communicating via email after 1596 miles and being handled over 25 times the shipping box was still in good shape, if I ever order another I will definitely order barrels online and on another note: it didn't take long for it to seal I was very surprised
This customer received a replacement barrel and then after further investigation, we realized they were using them for honey which does not have enough water content to keep the barrel swelled. We explained this was the reason why the barrel sealed perfectly with water and did not with honey. After the explanation, the client did not ship both barrels back and instead opted for pressuring to keep them for free.
Barrels do not have anything inside they depend on being in a swelled state as when used for whiskey. Using it for something not intended getting a replacement and then not shipping both of them back is not correct.
