Battery defective length
September 20, 2022

Ordered 2 battery's and one is shorter then the other. I would have to return the battery with my own money to get a refund or exchange. This is not right. There mistake at not doing quality control. I've used 4 or 5 ******* battery's over the years and this is the only one that does not work. Don't use them to shop for battery's or lights. Thanks.

Don't buy from them

They used to be ok. But now I've been waiting 3-4 months on multiple orders. They canceled but never refunded one because I messaged them about not shipping out supposed in stock batteries. Don't believe the small company replies. They will only auto reply

Wish I had seen the slow shipping reviews

Can't use a holiday excuse here guys. I ordered on 3/13 and my card has been charged on the 19th. I received a shipping notice on the 21st and the item apparently sat in your docks for 4 days until DHL finally picked it up today 3/25. My estimated delivery is 4/2 right now.

And to think you charged $18 to ship a $35 order. I hate Amazon with a fury but this is not acceptable service. I definitely will NOT be returning and will absolutely dissuade any friends from purchasing from you.

Great customer service!

I just received my 123A charger and spare batteries and I'm very happy with them. There was a screw up at DHL but Michelle in customer service found the order and made sure it got to me. She has contacted me four times over this process and I'm very happy! I will recommend battery junction to all my family and friends.

I ordered batteries from them and paid very high shipping cost for expedited delivery (much more expensive than the batteries cost). I got the e-mail to track that indicated that it was delivered to my front desk. I checked and verified that it was never delivered. My from desk never had a delivery problem and they audited their log on the day it was supposed to be delivered and there was nothing. I e-mailed their customer service who send me an immediate reply that they can't do anything about it and I have to solve this with USPS. Basically useless as I was never able to get anywhere with USPS. I still do not have the batteries that I needed. Will never use them again.

I have been ordering batteries and chargers from battery junction since 2013. Primary lithium and alkaline cells as well as rechargeable lithium and NiMh. I am an engineer and a very picky customer when it comes to any electronic assemblies and components. The batteries I receive are fresh as described by the Best By use dates on them. I have always been satisfied with the service and products. Battery junction is my primary do-to for batteries since 2013. I came to sitejabber when the search engine popped it up with low (?) reviews. I was quite surprised to see the number of negative reviews so I set up an account here to put in my review due to my years of very good experience with this company.

I have purchased from Battery Junction for years for our company and went to place a wholesale order today to find out that my regular person is no longer there. The lady emailed me pricing that was the same and higher than retail on their website and with shipping which is free shipping for retail! So they are treating their wholesale like this! Also false advertisement about wholesale. It says extremely competitive pricing on large orders and fantastic pricing however couldn't give me a wholesale price lower than the retail? VERY DISSATISFIED! I had a 10 percent coupon and placed order online on retail and had to pay taxes which I shouldn't have had to do that but yeah no choice with this company! Needs to go back to what it was!

Fantastic items

Battery Junction is a fantastic place to buy guy-toys but there shipping speed is as slow as a turtle! They ship the item at the slowest rate possible! Takes forever for an order to get to the customer! I purchased an item on December 23rd and found out it was on back order. Today is Feb. 3rd and I got an email saying it will ship in the next couple of days! Then with the slow shipping I have to wait another possible 10 days for it to arrive! Everything about this company is great except the shipping speed!

Bait and switch

I ordered batteries from their website. A week later they tell me "you can't order only 30", even though their website absolutely let me do that. So they canceled my order and now I must reorder, wait for it, at a higher price...

The batteries you ordered have a 350 unit minimum order quantity since they are a large tray of batteries, and are offered at a bulk price to reflect that. That minimum quantity is pre-filled on the page and is displayed in notices in the product description, and right below the Add to Cart button.

Because of how this product is packaged, we unfortunately cannot sell nor ship it in quantities below what is listed. Smaller quantities of coin cells are typically sold in tear strips that can be safely shipped, and we do sell that particular battery in 1 and 5 tear strip quantities.

I am a long time customer of Battery Junction. First of all they are the most disorganized company I have encountered. They had no record of receiving a flashlight I returned 9 days ago. I had to dig up my return receipt and give them the tracking number. I paid for the return shipping, the shipping to me was free. They deducted the shipping from my reimbursement, I really couldn't understand their lame reason.
I'm sick of dealing with them. They have bad ratings for a reason.

We apologize for the issues here. We are a smaller company with a team of under 50 people, and our RMA process is typically 2 to 5 business days. This does occasionally take a bit longer during our busy season, but we do understand your frustration and apologize for that. Battery Junction

Battery Junction again shipped the wrong battery. Called customer service and got response from poorly trained representative who could not get away from same comment that computer screen said I ordered the one sent. She said I could send it back and they might do something. This was a $5.00 item, plus ridiculus shipping charge that was more than the cost of the battery. I threw it away and will never use Battery Junction again. Since then I have ordered and received the new Battery at lower cost than Battery Junction from Amazon. Big mstake using Battery Junction, but will never make this mistake again.

Bad Batteries / Poor Customer Service
March 31, 2023

On February 19th, 2023 I purchased 6 batteries for Battery Juction. I received them on February 24th, 2023. By March 30th, 2023, the batteries were failing, and only providing approximately 25% of the original charge / use time. I contacted Battery Juction concerning the problem asking for a replacement or refund. Battery Juction advised that anything outside of a 15 day window was out of warranty. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Sold me a used product.

I bought a new streamlight from them and when I received it, I could not lose one of the screws. I called Battery Junction and was told it was striped and not covered. So, they sold me a used one. I bought a new one. If the screw was striped, it came that way.
They will not do anything. Do not buy from them. They sell use stuff. If the screw was striped it came like that.
Just anther one of them scam companies.

I've spoken to our customer service department and they are emailing you an RMA.

We are currently in touch with Streamlight to see if they have potentially sent us a defective product, or if they have any known manufacturing issues that may lead to that defect. We've checked that our other inventory does not have any stripped screws, nor do we have any similar complaints from previous purchasers of this flashlight.

We are confident that we have not sold you a used product, as any used/returned products are marked and offered as "Open Box" with significantly reduced prices, and are stored in a completely different warehouse to prevent any mixed inventory. A stripped screw that prevents a main function of the product is also beyond the scope of what we would typically include in our Open Box program.

Avoid Battery Junction

From their bs 15% restocking fee, to selling items they don't have in stock, and never make good on, to slowwww shipping times, I've been burned several times by Battery Junction. Overpriced with poor support, Battery Junction is a "MUST AVOID" vendor.

Please don't do business with this company batteries are bad when you receive them... and this guy Everett acted like I was trying to beat them outta about 20 dollars... at the end of the day it's not worth the headache.

We apologize that you received defective batteries in the first place. While we source all our batteries from legitimate distributors, bad batteries do rarely slip through the manufacturing process. For returns, we waive any restocking fee for defective products, and send a replacement order at no cost.

Our customer service agent tried to set you up with an RMA, but it is my understanding that you declined. If you change your mind, the RMA number is valid for 15 days after issued.

This place is like ordering from China: make and order and forget about it. Then, when it comes in the mail, it's a nice surprise.
I can't understand in the days of next day shipping, they take so long. I submitted an order and it's been over 5 business days and USPS states "awaiting item".
They used to be good but not anymore.
Order elsewhere if you need your items within the month.

We advertise 4-7 business day shipping, and typically ship out orders same or next day (with the exclusion of orders placed after 2pm EST on Friday). However, shipping can occasionally be held up due to orders containing lithium or back-ordered products, and we send out emails to alert customers of the additional shipping time. Paid with Paypal, Shipped 5 days after order and suppose to arrive in 12 days, not exactly stellar. I hope their batteries are better than the not so speedy customer service. I will post the day I receive them.

Without a full name or order #, I unfortunately cannot look up our order to provide specific details on the delay here. We usually ship same/next business day, but are currently facing up to 3 business days of delay in our warehouse due to the influx of holiday shopping. Our default 4-7 day Super Saver shipping method has also been pushed back due to packing time, and can face additional delays depending on the shipping carrier and your local USPS service. We do offer faster/priority shipping methods upon checkout to mitigate some of those delays. Bad customer service

Getting a return confirmation email out of them is like pulling teeth. They said they were going to send it. Three days and three phone calls later, still no email.

I do buy from Battery Junction and overall I find them to be satisfactory. They have a lot of items that some other places do not have. The reason for the two stars is several times I received a product that I was less than 100% happy with. I left an honest review for that product and had it not be published by BJ because of its criticality. One critical review in particular I bought a battery for one of my flashlights which is a proprietary battery. I took the old one apart and found very inferior parts inside of it. In my review I posted the parts that I found. Battery junction did not publish this review. I believe it was an honest review that did not out anybody or mention any brand names or any suppliers just an honest review of what I found inside. I believe customers have a right to know what's inside the products that are buying BJ does not seem to think so.
