We called to reserve what was called the Bayside disability access room on the second floor (215). We were totally shocked to see what was being offered as "accessible". My wife has MS and has extreme mobility problems, using wheel chair. The bed was too high; the toilet was too low, there were bars on only one wall of the bathroom; and the shower was a tub shower. The 'only' true constructive effort for access was a wider bathroom door. I complained to the front desk and the response was"well everyone's disability access requirements are different and this access is enough for most". Apparently only the bed height problem was brought up in the past. Before leaving, I asked that the manager make sure that others needing disability access be advised that the shower is tub enclosure and the toilet is not raised for handicap people.
This was a nightmare stay of one night for us out of an expected two or three night booking.
