Going by all the horror stories here, it feels like I've been incredibly lucky, but I ordered a handful of times from them and I'm over the moon so far. Even though they ship from the UK to my EU-country the delivery time is very reasonable every time: between 5 to 10 days. Contacted the customer service on 2 occasions and received a helpful reply within 2-3 days, so that's OK too. Throw in their selection of make up that I have a hard time finding anywhere else and their insanely good eyeshadow formula (price vs quality unmatched) and I'm a very happy customer. Nice little bonus: very often there's set-deals, free gifts or discounts.
I'm extremely disappointed with Beauty Bay for their misleading terms and conditions. They clearly state no import taxes or duties are required, yet I had to pay them upon delivery. There's never any mention during the checkout process that duties might apply. I even contacted them, pointing out the misleading clause in their terms, and their response was dismissive, pretending there's no issue. This lack of transparency and customer care is unacceptable. Buyers, beware of this shady practice
Do not purchase from Beauty Bay!
I have purchased products for myself and for my friends / family. The box was open when it came. Some of the products are upside down, leaking, and not sealed.
If you think this is bad, the customer service is worse, it will ruin your customer experience more. It took them 2 months to apply for a refund, which may take few more months to appear in the bank.
I will never purchase from Beauty Bay ever again.

Horrible customer service! Firstly I never received makeup brushes I have ordered. Secondly I was refunded incorrect amount for a different order which I received ages ago. This is so frustrating! It has been almost a month and I still haven't received my order from beauty bay uae and I live in Dubai.
I contacted them, sent an email to the customer services. No answer. If I have the opportunity to get a refund I will, and never purchasing from there anymore.

They stole $60 from me. They refuse to refund my money or send my order. This was on Dec 24. I am now looking in to ways of having the business held responsible for the thousands of customers they rip off weekly.
If you have problems with your order then you are basically screwed.
I had an order delivered where an expensive exfoliator has spilt all over the parcel, leaving maybe 30% left in the bottle. Three other items were also missing.
I emailed several times over a week, spoke to 3 different people, every single one asked me to send photos and then never responded.
Eventually they offered me a 40% refund on the exfoliator which obviously isn't acceptable, and asked me to send photos of the box delivered, even though it was 10 days later.
At every turn they have been incredibly unhelpful and so frustrating it's made me want to throw my laptop across the room. I would stick with LookFantastic or FeelUnique, who are brilliant at customer service and offer similar deals and discounts.
Will never order from BeautyBay again, it's taken years off my life.

I ordered 4 eyeshadow palettes 8/9/21. It's a month later and they still aren't here. I've made several Inquiries to no real answer. Their customer service is trash. No one should be treated this way after spending what I have spent with this company! Never again!
Free delivery is a joke, each order has taken way longer than promised to arrive and customer service is terrible at getting back/only replies with copy-pasted texts that don't answer your questions. I also had a giftcard with credit left, and received an e-mail saying that effective immediately, giftcards are not available outside the UK so mine is no longer valid. Got offered 15 % discount on my next order as "compensation".

I still have not receive my product because of duty issue and no answer back from Beauty Bay. Terrible customer service respond, they responded with cookie cutter reply. Beware if this is your first time ordering from them. I have emailed them 3 times! I just don't want others to go through a bad experience
Awful company! Ordered my goods mid November and haven't received anything. Have tried emailing and get an automated message back saying that they are busy and will reply within 72 hours... still waiting.
Never ever leave reviews but felt I had to as imagine people will be ordering in mass for last minute Christmas presents!
Extremely frustrating to pay for shipping, wait almost a month to receive my parcel, and then be charged an additional 30 euros in duties charges when my entire order cost 90 euros. I don't even understand how that number makes sense. Oh well. Never ordering from them again... didn't read any reviews before ordering, wish I would've!
Terrible service. After contacting them through WhatsApp, Instagram, their website form and twitter I had no response. They have sent my parcel to the wrong address (issue with my paypal account).
I contacted them within 1 hr of placing the order and they ignored me but now say it is too late to change the delivery address (the following day).
On twitter I was told they do not monitor whatsapp. Why then say this is how to contact them for customer service. On top of this they were 'online' the whole time I was sending messages.
No phone number to speak to anyone and no responses on all ways to apparently contact them.

I ordered products but never received them. I did choose the free non tracked international shipping, but if your package doesn't arrive on time, they will just blame your local postal service and not assist you. It's been 5 months since I placed the order btw. Stay away- you'll most likely just waste your money.
No idea why it's got so many negative reviews. I got my shampoo and conditioner from there since it was the only place selling it. Didn't pay for express shipping but didn't mind waiting for standard shipment times which I think was fair.
Overall a fine experience, would buy again.
Shopped around and chose this company precisely for click&collect delivery. Desperately needed the items within the week so I ordered with 8 days time and they say they'll deliver for collection within 2 days after dispatch. 5 days after I got the dispatch email still nothing, left scrambling having to find something else at the last minute. It's just a $#*!ing scam, they should be done for false advertising it's horrendous they do this to good people who give them their business
So disappointed with my first time ordering from this company, item was a gift so ordered next day delivery and purchased a gift box, when it arrived part of the set was missing, after going back and forth with emails they eventually said I could have a partial refund on the set, no explanation as to what had happened or why they couldn't just send the replacement item and no refund of the fast delivery fee which was pointless, really poor customer service, would not recommend them.
You can see why they've disabled Google reviews. Fake promotional offers (I can't imagine that the way they conduct fake offers is legal). Terrible customer service that mess with orders instead of replying to queries about it. The delivery times are false, orders won't even be dispatched in that time. If something goes wrong with your order, there's basically no customer service that will engage with you past the initial generic repsonse (see photo).

To try use a promo offer, you need to do two separate orders. One with only full priced products that don't have free gifts or anything and another order if there happens to be a discount on a product because this forfeits the right to use a promotion, I'm gathering from their crap responses. Even though this is not in their terms and conditions.
I went on beauty bay to avoid the high cost of delivery from America, ordered a few lipsticks and they offered free next day delivery which was amazing as I hate waiting for a week or more for something. Everything came and it was all covered in bubble wrap to protect it. They don't do all the brands, but next time I need some new makeup I'll check them out again
A really great website to shop on. I'm able to get my hands on brands that I otherwise can't find in the high-street stores. Shipping is always prompt and estimated times are accurate. They have various brands to choose from, whether it be a more affordable brand like NYX or more expensive brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills. There's also a nice range of accessories to choose from, like makeup brushes or sponges.
The website is super easy to use, you can search by brand names or by types of product.
It would be good to have genuine photos of the shades / colours so it would be easier to accurately choose the correct product,
Overall, I always have a really positive experience on Beauty Bay.

Ordered my item 3 weeks ago and still not arrived. Tracking froze after a week. No help from customer service. No refund. Added a review on their website to help other customers and it was removed. Never trust a company that deletes low reviews.

Ive ordered twice from them so far and ive always received my order with 2 weeks at most. Ive also had no trouble with customs and ive always gotten just what i ordered. Currently waiting for another order to arrive. Would definitely recommend to anyone from europe who wants makeup usually found just in the us. super happy they have juvia's place but i just wish they'd get the newer stuff quicker.
Made an order and it arrived fairly quickly. However one of the products The Ordinary Lactic Acid was opened. The packaging had wet patches and patches of cardboard that had been wet all over it. When I got the product out I realised it had been opened. It didn't even look the same colour as my other bottle I got directly from The Ordinary.
(It's a darker orange.)

Hermes left my parcel outside and it went missing. Beauty Bay refused to refund me saying they need to "investigate". Not sure why they were investigating as the pictures showed the parcel outside my front door. It's been 2 weeks and after countless emails still no refund. I've had to report them to my bank. Please avoid them- it's all fine until something goes wrong and you need to contact customer service. So many other beauty websites that provide the same products and better service.

I ordered some makeup and one of the items is faulty i cant get through to their customer service after dozens of emails i sent, i have not gotten any reply am so annoyed how do you operate in that kind of manner am really upset.
I've made 2 orders, over a span of 2 month, over $100 worth of product. Both orders never made it to me. Both tracking numbers I got show error on my local postal tracking service.
I got canned messages from their support, very vague and offered no solution (not to mention a refund)
I did make successful orders in the past, but the last few months we're good money down the drain
