Going by all the horror stories here, it feels like I've been incredibly lucky, but I ordered a handful of times from them and I'm over the moon so far. Even though they ship from the UK to my EU-country the delivery time is very reasonable every time: between 5 to 10 days. Contacted the customer service on 2 occasions and received a helpful reply within 2-3 days, so that's OK too. Throw in their selection of make up that I have a hard time finding anywhere else and their insanely good eyeshadow formula (price vs quality unmatched) and I'm a very happy customer. Nice little bonus: very often there's set-deals, free gifts or discounts.
I'm extremely disappointed with Beauty Bay for their misleading terms and conditions. They clearly state no import taxes or duties are required, yet I had to pay them upon delivery. There's never any mention during the checkout process that duties might apply. I even contacted them, pointing out the misleading clause in their terms, and their response was dismissive, pretending there's no issue. This lack of transparency and customer care is unacceptable. Buyers, beware of this shady practice
I ordered Bubble moisturizer and was worried it wouldn't come after reading all of these negative reviews but it came! I even wrote them an email since it was one day late and I was so worried, and they got back to me asap with shipping updates.

I absolutely love Beauty Bay. Not only are their products very affordable, but their branded products (specifically their eye shadows), are out of this world good. The products they sell for a very decent price. The only complaint I might have is the time it takes to get to you. It took almost two weeks to get to me in the US, but I get that they're shipping from the UK.

Took almost a month to receive item. When I received it to the US, realized the item had a UK plug. Emailed the company asking if I could return the item or if they had affordable voltage transformers since I couldn't find any online, they sent me a standard reply that did not address my question and instead stated my order would arrive soon. I don't understand why they are selling UK appliances to US customers when this is borderline impossible situation to fix without shelling out upwards of 50.00 and with the potential for the device to break.
Awful company- I ordered a small delivery weeks ago, then emailed them when the tracking information said that it was delivered to a neighbor named Dave. I had been home all day so I found it odd that there was no attempt to contact me by the driver and yet he contacted a neighbor.
Over a week later, and after bothering countless neighbors whom I had never spoken to before in my building asking if they had signed for an order for me, I get a response telling me that the driver supposedly delivered the order to a random shop that wasn't even on my street. When I emailed back asking for a refund, because I am leaving the country soon, I got a response saying the order was delivered to a neighbor in my building and that they would interview the driver. If I have not gotten a refund before I leave the country I will be flagging it as a fraudulent charge with my bank. I am absolutely shocked at how horrendous their service is.
Where do i start. I ordered a cleansing oil and then realised i could use a discount code so i cancelled the first order and reordered the oil (with discount code). Considering I cancelled the order within 15 mins and they said its cancelled I received both products which I was charged for. Ive contacted them but no reply.
I gave them benefit of the doubt (stupidly!) and ordered some make up a few weeks later, one month later i haven't received anything and all ive been sent are 3 of the same generic emails saying international saver option means its not tracked so basically its not their problem but they can guarentee its been dispatched! Of course I'm going to choose free internationally delivery when I live in another country! Doesn't mean you hold zero responsibility of what happens to my packages
Ordered placed 6th October, still not delivered. Beauty Bay keep on saying they are investigating with the courier (Fastway) but no updates until I again place a bad review. Fastway have lost the parcel or the items in it and have informed me of this but Beauty Bay will not refund me or send another package. Same replies constantly from Beauty Bay - we will investigate but no follow up. Terrible Customer Service - I would advise to order from Look Fantastic instead.

I didn't receive my products even though Beauty Bay charged 82 euro to my account
Ordered my parcel and it has been over 3 weeks and it's still not here. I've emailed countless times and DM'd and tweeted both beauty bay and the courier and nothings happened. I have asked beauty bay to refund me my money on 4 occasions and the courier has said that beauty bay should begin steps to refund me and I've still had nothing. It's absolutely shocking and every time beauty bay send me my tracking details which haven't changed in 2 weeks I want to scream and cry. It's been the worst experience of all the years I have used beauty bay and I can't wait to get my money back so I never have to use them again. They continually use the fact they've moved into a new warehouse for their lack of customer service or care but also for the loss and lack of parcels being sent. A shambles at best.

When I placed an order on the apps, there was a 15%off promotion, but when I checked after the order due to a malfunction in the apps, it was not applied.
I immediately contacted you about the cancellation, but the store's reply was very late, so I got in touch with you after the item was shipped.
The promotion is not going on right now, and I've been lying about the products I ordered not being eligible for promotion.
I sent a screenshot of the promotion and discount price, but there was no reply.
I was told that if I refuse to receive the item, I will get a full refund, but there is no guarantee that it will be refunded, so I received the item as it was.
Ive been waiting almost a month for something that should have been here in 8-10 business days. Thank God its only a $15.00 mascara and I didnt pay that ridiculous $15 tracking fee. I believe its a scam. Do not recommend to anyone.
I have used this company with no difficulties a few times. Recently I attempted to place a order and because of system errors ended up with the order of £73 of items being placed four times. The company then cancelled all of the orders as they realised the error. I now have no order and the items are out of stock! Absolutely ridiculous. Really poor customer service and I won't use again.
I ordered a pricy hair product. They sent the wrong item, not what I needed or paid for. It was difficult to find a way to contact them, when I was finally able to send email, with photo required as proof, they offered me a forty percent discount to keep it, or I will have to pay shipping costs to return and receive a refund. Such a ridiculous ripoff.
I am so so disappointed. Never had such a big disappointment from a company. I DIDN'T get my order and my refund as well (in process for over 7 days). I love buying skin care and makeup but I am never going to buy from this site again.
I ordered an item from this Company for the first time but unfortunately made a mistake and would like to return it as I ordered the wrong item. I called their phone number but it just kept going back to the options recording. I then tried emailing them and the automated reply told me that they aim to reply to all queries in 5 days. 5 days? With Christmas around the corner this could be indefinite I feel. The message also stated not to repeat messages as this will delay any reply even further. Why would this be? The company has appalling customer service. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. I am not expecting to receive any satisfactory reply, and so I will have wasted my money. I have never experienced such terrible service.

I ordered an eye serum but by mistake ordered a peeling face mask which is for oily skin/acne - neither of which I experience.
Spent 80€ and all I got was 4 products I didn't even order. When I ask where is my order, they just keep saying that it's delivered to me. Sent photos as a proof, but all I got is that I will get 30€ cashback. Can't even return it. Worst experience with online shop.

My order was dispatched on 23rd of March, according to their website shipping time for tracked delivery should be 8-12 working days after dispatch. It's been over 3 weeks since I placed my order now, no news about it. I contacted customer service, they seem unwilling to help or tell me any information about my order (where is it? Will I get it at all? Is there some compensation for such a long delay?). Now I just want my money back, but beauty bay doesn't want to do that either. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and delivery service, wouldn't recommend :(

So 2. Almost 3 months ago I ordered 2 packages from The Ordinary and only 1 came in. I get it, corona is making things slow down but where is the second package? They didn't give tracking or anything. I contacted them 3 times and they didn't do anything to help. The first was an automated message via email, and the other 2 were two women on Twitter telling me they have no clue where my package is lol. Please don't order here... literally anywhere else is better. I don't even think they give refunds. I reordered the product from Ulta Beauty. Ah yes also my package was "closed by system", we love to see it.
What's hella creepy is Beauty Bay deletes any negative comments. There's this site that has 82,000 reviews, and it has 4.8/5 stars but I stg, it had like 2/5 stars last month. Placed an order on March 16th and it's April 11th now, been almost a month and have written two contact forms with no replies. Tracked my order and states that 'closed by system' like what? $#*! customer service, do not order from them
I had ordered someone from them and after a week of seeing nothing change on the shipment page and reading some reviews about people who never got their orders I emailed them to see where my package was. It wasn't until after that that I saw my package actually moving through the system. USPS has yet to get to but at least it looks like I'll actually get my package. I still don't recommend because I honestly think they wouldn't have done something if I didn't say anything to them.
They sent a package i tried a dozen times to cancel cause something came up needed the money. They sent a email at 2 am that my package was already dispatched but the email i got for the confirmation dispatched said it wasnt till 5 pm but they told me the day before it was to late hummm... now its been almost 2 weeks and no package but i sure was charged the 52 and cant track it even tho its free tracking on orders 50 and up
I purchased a mascara here and it came unpackaged and unsealed, with a sticker slapped on the tube. I asked for a refund, as clearly this doesn't meet safe beauty standards. They told me "if I felt passionately" I could contact the manufacturer as it was how it was sold to them. Excuse me, are you kidding me? You aren't going to take responsibility for what you purchased and resold as unsafe? Terrible customer service.
I ordered from beautybay for the first time ever on may 5,2020. I was having trouble finding my products on other sites (for example cult beauty and sephora) because they were out of stock for long periods of time. When i saw everything i wanted was on beautybay, i ordered ASAP! When delivery was taking longer than expected (i got the saver untracked international shipping) i started to worry and googled delivery reviews. Of course these reviewers were horrible & alarming. I thought i got scammed. However it is now may 30th 2020 and my package arrived! The product that comes in a glass container is even wrapped tightly in bubble wrap to prevent damage. For reference, i ordered to canada. So, my experience summed up is: took longer to deliver than it said it would, but other than that, the experience is perfect! Leaving this here for any canadian viewers debating on whether or not this site is reliable :)
Recently ordered an eyeshadow pallet from here however accidentally ordered the wrong item so therefore had to return it and my oh my did they make it as difficult as possible. You have to complete a form on there website to which they will then email asking for even more details to which you have to provide and they will then email you again to finally provide you with the details to return the item. Simply trying to make the process as difficult as possible so people won't return there items and they make more money, disgraceful.
My order was confirmed on November the 13rd, despatched on the 17th and until today I haven't received it. Went already to my areas' post office they don't have any information, tried to contact costumers service never had a reply until today. Very disappointed and worried that I might not get my products after reading so many costumers complaining about the same.
After waiting for three months for a palette to arrive, I received an email saying my order was returned to Beauty Bay by the delivery courier. I payed extra for a tracking number on my order, which never worked, and communication between myself and Beauty Bay was awful. Emails were not replied to, and I received multiple notices asking how I liked my purchase when I still had yet to receive it.
Thankfully I am being refunded (albeit for a return I did not ask for), but I don't know if the refund includes the cost of the tracking shipping + overseas shipping fees. Maybe living in the United States has something to do with my awful experience, but the lack of communication I experienced over the past 3 months is something I've never had to deal with before.
