Going by all the horror stories here, it feels like I've been incredibly lucky, but I ordered a handful of times from them and I'm over the moon so far. Even though they ship from the UK to my EU-country the delivery time is very reasonable every time: between 5 to 10 days. Contacted the customer service on 2 occasions and received a helpful reply within 2-3 days, so that's OK too. Throw in their selection of make up that I have a hard time finding anywhere else and their insanely good eyeshadow formula (price vs quality unmatched) and I'm a very happy customer. Nice little bonus: very often there's set-deals, free gifts or discounts.
I'm extremely disappointed with Beauty Bay for their misleading terms and conditions. They clearly state no import taxes or duties are required, yet I had to pay them upon delivery. There's never any mention during the checkout process that duties might apply. I even contacted them, pointing out the misleading clause in their terms, and their response was dismissive, pretending there's no issue. This lack of transparency and customer care is unacceptable. Buyers, beware of this shady practice
Do not buy from here! Shipping takes long, they lie, no updates and really bad customer service! If there was an option here for 0/5 stars I would choose that option.
(UK purchaser) I ordered 1 jeffree star lipstick in unicorn blood, 1 of his skin frosts in mint condition and a gerard cosmetics mini setting spray; the products I actually received were correct and they were all in great condition apart from a bit of muck on the skinfrost's mirror, I wasn't too fussed about that. The tracking is absolute ****, at first it told me my order didnt exist and then it told me what depot my order was at, but nothing else. I was terrified that my order would be lost as there are many reports about missing parcels, and when I did contact their customer service asking about my parcel not existing they didn't respond. When my package got here it wasn't anything special, it was in a bag with just brown paper and wrapped in bubble wrap.
Tip for consumers:
if you don't want to risk a lost delivery, order from the original site of the product, you may have to pay more but at least you're getting something :)
I bought products for £ 80.92 on 14/06/2013.
The package never arrived: after dozens of emails they suggest me to go to the Post Office (where I've been many times and never got any package), and then they offer money refund. They send me a form to fill out, I sign it and send it back. They told me AGAIN to go to the Post Office! And they deny the refound that thay promised.
I feel stripped of my money and taken for a ride.
I'm from Australia but, I can understand with the whole COVID-19 going on right now especially when ordering things from overseas. I haven't gotten my package yet which is fine. However, they need to improve their tracking system because I placed my order on Friday 13th of March and the site said that I placed my order on the 2nd which was a wth moment.
They have updated it though thankfully, but it would be good if they could improve tracking especially when paying a lot of money for makeup you can't really get without driving for ages..
I've been buying from it for 2 years now and I always got my stuff, perfect conditions, well packed and only the first time we got a little delay but now this is my favourite cosmetics website. I buy natural products that I can't find in Italy (like Ilia makeup and Intelligent Nutrients) After my 6 purchases I can tell you can trust.
I placed an order last Thursday and paid for next day delivery for Friday. The order wasn't delivered on the day specified and today, nothing has changed. I'm even more unimpressed with "Sunshine" your customer service advisor who had the cheek to ask me to check the tracking tomorrow, send another email when it still shows no movement, for me to wait another day for you to reply to my email, for you to refund me. Maybe by this time next week, I'll have my money back. He or she couldn't actually provide a service and make acnote to check for me tomorrow and refund me straight away. Shoddy set of fobbers who have failed at every aspect of my dealings with them. Would certainly not recommend shopping with them.
I ordered makeup and beauty products for my daughter, I got one of the products the next day and thought the rest would arrive a day or two later, then when I saw that nothing was arriving I contacted them and they replied that if I hadn't taken a picture of the package I wasn't allowed to claim anything "per their policy"! Dreadful company, horrible customer service… I had never seen this in the UK before!
I contacted these people, and all threw Emails... I sent 3 videos n lots of emails. The worst comany to get ur money back. All I wanted, is to replace it. But now I want my money back. The bank is investingating it now,. Do NoT Buy From them... They Suck... Im going to mail it back after I run it over. I even eat the money at this point. I would give them 100% BAD REVEIW...

I live in Switzerland and chose the Untracked Shipping Option. My packet was dispatched on 14th of June and arrived 22nd of June. So shipping time was perfect and I'm pleased with my products!
It's been almost 6 weeks and still havent received my order. I live in Australia. Reached out to them so many times but never gotten any response. So disappointing!
Did not receive neither of my 2 orders nor a refund. I had to send a lot of emails, contact them on facebook and fill out forms, sign papers. No. Never again.
Ordered something nearly a month ago, Evri are saying they delivered it to my collection point (my local Tesco) but I have personally gone into the store and asked and had two staff members double check and nothing has been received. Clearly a $#*! up and the item is lost. As it's not been received within a reasonable amount of time, legally Beauty Bay should give me a refund but they are refusing as they can't give a refund for an "item lost in transit." This completely goes against consumer laws, if it's been lost that is their responsibility and I am entitled to a refund. The only way to contact them is via an email that gets replied to every 2 days and no one seems to care that what they're doing is illegal. If you go on Twitter there are hundreds of customers in same boat who have ordered something which hasn't arrived and Beauty Bay have not refunded them. Please avoid shopping here for your own sanity, it might be cheap but only if the item is received. I've lost money. I'm looking into taking this further via my bank, the ombudsman, and a consumer journalist as this is really dodgy and unacceptable.
I am in the United States and ordered from Beauty Bay for the first time November 28,2022. I did receive an email that stated "your haul is on its way" on Dec 1st. I waited and waited and waited…. I tried to blame it on the holidays that it was taking so long. Finally in the beginning of January I reached out via email, Instagram messaging, anywhere I could. They would never get back to me. Just an automated message that states they would respond within 24 hours, but never did. Another email I sent a week later, got a message back and stated it would take 8 days for a response. I waited. I would track my shipment using the haul finder gadget on their website and every time it would say something like my order was still being processed and their facility. So it never shipped? Even though I got an email saying it did? Finally on January 30,2023, now over 2 months since placing my order I comment on an Instagram post demanding they get back to me about an order that I never received (but paid for)! Almost immediately I received an email from them saying I will be getting a refund. Okay…. I just wanted my order but sure I guess if I'm not getting that then I will take my money back. I did in fact get my money back. But I will never order from them again!
Shopping on Beauty Bay has taught me one thing. Everything is fine until a problem arises. As soon as that happens they either ignore your emails or are completely unwilling to actually solve the issue. I do not even know why I bothered buying from them again since I had a bad experience in the past too. I only know that this will certainly be the last time after what happened. My parcel was dispatched on November 16 and today, a month later, I have not received it yet. I paid 5 euros for delivery and it was supposed to arrive in 7-10 working days, something that of course never happened. Instead, my parcel shows no tracking update since November 24. I contacted customer service and they keep telling me that they will contact the courier and get back to me. However, it has been more than a week since then and I wonder how long it takes them to track a parcel. It feels like they are just ignoring me and trying to avoid giving me a refund. They do not seem to realise that, whether the delay is their fault or the courier's fault, I placed my order on their shop so it is their responsibility to find a solution promptly. At this point, I am so disappointed and angry with the shipping as well as the customer service that I just want my money back now.

I wish I had read all the negative reviews online before ordering anything. Whoever owns the company has no clue how to run a business successfully. You would think with all their advertising and beauty ambassadors promoting the brand that they would care about their paying customers. I suggest you shop elsewhere and avoid all the trouble myself and lots of other customers have been through! If youve already placed an and Beauty Bay hasnt given you a refund you can contact your bank and ask if you can get a cashback. If youve used a credit or a debit card to pay for your order. That way you can get your money reversed back into your bank account.
Purchased the mermaid pro-waver pink - useless in creating waves. Asked for refund told as its been opened can't do that and that I should have researched the product. Appalling customer service currently dealing with Trading Standards and requesting my money back from credit card company as very unhappy - POOR SERVICE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Horrible customer service, I placed an order for a Foreo gift set about more than a month ago, they bungled up my package and the delivered box had wrong items so I got in touch with their customer service ( btw they don't have direct contact on call service and their chat bot is utterly useless, only way to contact is via email which takes weeks on weeks for them to check and reply) I waited patiently and got this order refunded but the customer service rep suggested that I should place another order and I fell for it thinking the initial mistake was a one off. The second order I placed included a few more items, upon opening the second delivery I found yet another wrong item and some items missing from my order. I have been desperately trying to contact the customer service for a month now, left multiple emails and messages with chat bot which led nowhere. I am still waiting for a response which doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. I spent $400 AUD and they bungled up my order once again. Do not order from this website they are duping customers.

Please don't use this site, they have non existent customer service unless you want to spend months in agony waiting for a resolution, they messed up both of my orders! There are better sites out there, spare yourself this unnecessary torture.

I had ordered a bunch of items of which - a wrong set was delivered (Foreo gift set) and another set was missing from the delivered box (Olaplex haircare set). Rest of the items i had paid for so I used them except for the wrong item, i have kept it aside as it is in case I am asked to return it back, more than happy to send it back!
I read some reviews about BEAUTYBAY but I still defided to order. I placed my order on March 27 and today July 15 still hasn't arrived and received an email saying it was lost in transit and they will make a full refund. DON'T buy from there.

I was buying Multi functional Electric Sharpener but it turned out it was only a Grinding Wheel for it... that's freely available in UK for under a tenner. 4 weeks to deliver - fine, it meant to be "Multi functional Electric Sharpener" in all fairness, £6 for delivery to UK - fine it's a parcel from Asia. How wrong was I when waited for a month to receive a tiny wheel, about an inch in diameter delivered by cheapest postal service in tiny envelope that fitted through letter hole.
Contacting them it's a waist of time as they do not reply until you escalate it with PayPal.
Then they will reply at the last possible moment and keep repeating the questions they already asked. Then they offer a negligible refund that will not even cover postage back (which I'm not planning to do until I have my money back) and all this ordeal is going on for over 5 weeks...
Well Done to PayPal too - no help or true support... not even for a moment I felt like I have their back, as a buyer... shame on you.
You should have dumped them long time ago, seeing misconduct and treatment like that from the seller.
I have been reaching out ALL WEEK and was under the impression my order would arrive by Wednesday and I URGENTLY need it for a production due to start then. I've messaged on ALL platforms and heard absolutely nothing, beyond terrible customer service and I'm now certain I've wasted my money... and I have no products to work with... ridiculous! Even after opting for express delivery( which clearly says on the website 3-5 working days) I and no clue where my order is. I placed the order on 14th dec, it says despatched on 16th dec and the end. Today is 28th Dec and no one is replying to my emails. The tracking details given by them is showing that the product is not moving ahead and is still stuck on 16th dec date. This is so so disappointing and I will never order from this website again. Beautylish is far authentic website.
Genuinely the worst online shop and most unprofessional customer support team I've EVER had to deal with. I bought a curling iron in January 2021, it stopped working in April 2021, and I sent it back to them for inspection as per their request (after numerous of emails and having to request information on the return process multiple times). We're now in September and this case is still going on. It's been taking months and at least 30-40 follow ups over email and phone from my side to request either a new curling iron or refund (no one was getting back to me and mind you, I also ended up paying for the shipment of the defect curling iron from Dubai to the UK which I also needed a refund on). They finally processed a refund in August 2021 however, not with the full amount (part of the amount was missing for what I paid for the curling iron). I started chasing them again and I've provided bank statement proof for them to see that they've refunded the incorrect amount, but still without any luck. I keep getting strange replies whenever I follow up, replies that are not even relevant to the actual issue that I'm following up on, as if the customer care representatives are not even reading my emails. It's been extremely frustrating and I won't ever purchase anything on BeautyBay again or recommend it to anyone I know.
