“Ordered dining chair came in perfect shape”

Have had so many problems getting 4 of these chairs got 3 from amazon ca one perfect the other 2 severely cracked legs took so much convincing to get 3rd party seller to send me replacement legs. Didn't want to pack up whole chair send it back they wouldn't pick it up. Nobody help me during business hours. Son fixed 2 chairs that were not safe. Price way better and shipping free was half the time. I have 4 now may want 2 more buying one at a time. Was surprised and delighted to see chair in perfect shape box intact not beatup with slits in it. Came right to my door only wish delivery time and date more transparent got a day early but delivery person didn't knock and wait for a response. Box left outside my apt door. I don't think that's a good idea.

Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt. They were good to deal with. Overstock.com bought the name. You are now dealing with Overstock.com. I returned an item, unopened, and they refunded me half the money. They tell me that is in the fine print. They promised to exchange a $600 defective lamp but never did. I was told today it's too late.

I am scent-sensitive but can usually take a store that has a few scented items like candles if I stay away from that part of the store. Not the Capitola Bed Bath and Beyond. That place has always been overpowering with it's perfumy smells and I get a headache and sick to my stomach only a minute after being inside. I have to find what I want and get out ASAP. I keep going back but no more. I tried to complain to a cashier and she ignored me, would not listen, and went on about her business. I'll not be going to BB&B again until they write to me to say the smell has been removed.

I recently made a purchase at BB&B and used a $25 coupon if I purchased $100 or more. The total bill was $150 and some odd cents and when I checked out, it showed that I paid $127 and some odd cents. But when I checked my bank account, questions what, it was the original amount of $150, not the adjusted amount of $127. I threw my receipt away even though I requested an email receipt. Guess what! I did not get an email receipt. I think the clerk pocketed $25. I love this store but will never go back, I feel I have been robbed, cannot trust them!

Horrible customer service! We were promised that missing parts from an order would be sent to us. They never came. Now customer service can find no record of the order. Umbra curtain rods came incomplete and BBB will not correct the problem. We ordered a new curtain rod which also came missing hardware. Bed Bath & Beyond and Umbra... NEVER AGAIN!

I have attempted to place 3 orders with my new credit card and all have been canceled by your system without explanation, your customer service representatives have no idea how to answer a customer inquiry, they copy the templates and paste them to answer the same thing over and over. No one has any idea why my 3 purchases were canceled and my bank has told me 10 times that the merchant is canceling the transactions

Tip for consumers:
If you will require customer service, forget about it you will not be assisted whatsoever.

MURRIETA store - BAD customer service especially the lady manager named April. I ordered an item online for curbside pick up. I decided to go to the store to do some more shopping before my online order is ready for pick up. I asked the lady manager if they have an electric skillet available in their store and her reply to me NO and that you have to order online until one of her staff heard us talking and went to the back of the store and brought me the merchandise. OMG... what kind of the manager she is? Or maybe she just lazy? I believe she is a RACIST... she made no apologies at all. On top of that, my online order was defected. I went back the next day for an exchange and the lady manager did not even acknowledge me. Neither look nor Hi to me... I should really stop spending my money in this store due to their DON'T CARE Attitude toward their customers.

I placed a order 5-1-20 2 was later heard nothing couldn't track it could not talk to anyone on the phone I did a chat they said something went wrong with the order they canceled it and re-ordered now it's been four weeks still haven't heard anything on it called the 800 number it took me an hour and 11 minutes to talk to someone only to say it should be shipped in two days it's been three still nothing

They have all sorts of fragrances lotions, soaps, etc. Their fragrances consist of natural fruits and things like that. Things like pear fragrance, or kiwi fragrance, Gardenia, honeysuckle, or strawberries, or Coconut. Delightful fragrances to delight the soul! I know! I used to wander around sniffing at all their fragrances, sampling some, as you will find that they offer sample bottles, buying them if I liked what I smelled. One of my most favorite was and still is a watermelon summery fragrance that I love! They have all sorts of things you can keep in your bathroom and in the kitchen by the sink if you need to wash your hands! Look at their sight if you'd like and go to their store in person if you can and check out all their collections. You just might fall in love with their store and their pricings!

I bought something online with BBB & I now wish I hadn't! I have had ongoing problems logging in to their site. One time my credentials work another time the same ones don't. I have had trouble seeing where my item, which cost a lot, is in the process. It has just been frustrating & I wish I hadn't haven't done this. The email they give you to check on the status of your order is a non-working email address. I will never make the mistake of doing business with them again. It has been a frustrating experience.

I ordered a Micro Flannel electric blanket from BB&B online. I followed the manufacturer's instructions exactly but the blanket would not heat up. I contacted the manufacturer, Shavel Home Products, and they said they would send out a new controller. Never received a confirmation email to this effect. Re contacted the manufacturer who said the employee I spoke with no longer works for Shavel and the controller order was never placed, but this new customer service agent would send out a new controller immediately. AGAIN, no confirmation email to this effect. Contacted Shavel AGAIN a few days later and the same employee said she would send out the email. Three hours later - no email.

Contacted BB&B customer service 1-800 number who said my call would be answered in 20 minutes or less. Have been on hold over 20 minutes.
Shop elsewhere, avoid the frustration!

You can not get anyone on the phone. They give wait times of 90 minutes and more.
Tried the texting option because they dont have a live chat. Wait times 8 hours, 6 hours and then no one texts you. They absolutely suck! DO NOT BUY ON LINE! I even called the store, they
Tried but they can not help either. STAY AWAY! RIP OFF!

Zero stars. Basically stole $500 from me for a bed I ordered and they never delivered. I sit on hold for an hour every time I call and they give me the run around. Gonna have to sue I guess. Will NEVER trust BBB again!

I wanted to return curtains I purchased because they sent me the wrong color. Green instead of grey. You would think they would apologize but no. They told me to pay myself for return shipping. I won't get my money back unless I return the curtains. I tried to upload pictures but my pictures aren't large enough or something.

I placed an online order with Bed Bath & Beyond, using caution I paid via Pay Pal.
Long story short, I did not get the item for various reasons.
After a second phone call to BBB, the customer service representative & I came to a mutual agreement with the promise of a full refund to my Pay Pal account.
For more than 2 months I have attempted to track down my refund. I have printed emails, (with dates), from BBB customer service claiming the refund was processed & sent to Pay Pal. Pay Pal insists they did not receive the refund.
I am not going away, I am not going to stop until my refund of $224.68 surfaces.
Pay Pal sent a personalized email to me last night advising that effective immediately, they have made policy updates to the user agreements.
Perhaps Pay Pal will be more careful in the selection process; not all merchants doing online business are honest, isn't that right Bed Bath and Beyond?

Going to try to cancel a company like my pillow for their beliefs? I'm cancelling you from me and my family's life. Not all trump supporters are invred hicks as on sure you think we are. I'm college educated and mad 135k ladt year. Of which I spent several hundred at your store. Now it will be zero. By the way, you idiots, there are 75 million of us watching your liberal activism which is destroying this country. Go to hell, bed, bath, and beyond.

I called back a fnal time and this representative informed me that the product was out of stock by the manufacturer. I knew this was not true because it was available on other sites. They said I just cancel my order so I did and ordered it from another site and guess what it arrived today! I will never order from BBB again!

I ordered a coffee table on 11/12/2017. It is now 12/27/2017 and i still have not received the item. I have called customer service several times with no results. Hey seem unable or unwilling to contact the vendor about my order. Yesterdy I talked to a supervisor who said she would call me back in 24 hours. Well no phone call today. I will never order from them again.

I orders bedding, never was sent delivery status, never knew where it was, was not home one day and they said it was delivered, I never say it, they said well start a refund 8 days later no refund and no one talking to me or answering my message, this place only want to make interest off my money, never order on line with this company they also use fedx the worst delivery company ever.

The online CSR's (Customer Service Reps) are a waste of time.
#1. BOT tells you it's 30 min wait for an agent
#2.30 min's is not correct, it's more than an hour
#3. Agents have zero accountability and drop out of the conversation if they can't help by putting you back in the que

CSR's are dinged if they spend more time with customers than the company allows., so if they are unable to help or if they feel like dropping you, the Bed Bath and Beyond online CSR's put you back in the que and you have to wait all over again for an "agent". If you stay in the chat and ask for a supervisor, they will insult you by giving you an excuse that has nothing to do with the online conversation or complaint. If you click to have the transcript emailed to you, you'll never get it.

Don't waste your time. If you're having trouble with an online order, move on, buy it elsewhere, cuz these guys are not worth the trouble, especially considering all of the purchase options available.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use their chat option, there's no accountability and they are not capable of helping after you wait more than double the time you're told you have to wait.

You're kidding, do you think I'm going to give $ to them for hiring unprofessional and rude staff... that's not a question, rhetoricals just highlight the obvious.

DO NOT BUY FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND! THEY WILL SEND YOU THE WRONG ITEM AND CHARGE YOU $500 TO RETURN IT.

I bought a double vanity on their app in November 2023. It was supposed to arrive within two weeks. I received no email receipt, only a tracking number that hit a 404 page not found error. Two weeks later, still no receipt, still not functional tracking number, and no news from Bed Bath & Beyond. Four weeks after I ordered, they finally called me to ask when was a good time to deliver the vanity. On receipt, I discovered that they had sent me the wrong item – a single vanity in place of a double vanity. When I called them to find a resolution, they denied that they had made a mistake – surprisingly enough, the next day the email receipt (which I had never received) appeared in my inbox, displaying the same single vanity they claim I had ordered. So despite a clear recognition that their online systems had messed up (between the missing email receipt that appeared two months later, the lack of a tracking number and the delayed delivery) they are unwilling to accept responsibility for delivering the wrong item. Their website says they have a 30-day return window, but what they don't tell you is that the return shipping could be over $500! Do not shop here. It is not worth the pain.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from them. Period.

Discontinuing MyPillow because it's an underperforming product? But you still sell As Seen on TV junk that doesn't do what the ads state or break the first time you use it? THOSE are underperforming products, not MyPillow! Let's face it - you caved in to the Cancel Culture! Leave politics out of your business. I'm going to be a part of the Cancel Culture and cancel any future business with Bed Bath & Beyond!

My family seems are very fond of BBB Promo Damask table top set. We almost change every season like Harvest/Fall, Holiday, Spring. From table cloth, napkin, chair cover and seat cover, almost all sets. It's not just because it's promo which equals "cheap", I'm actually quite surprised the hand-feel of the fabric is very good, worth of money. Plus some time I can bought some natural look Placemat to decorate my small table. Anyway, i cannot speak for other product line from BBB, but I think at least the table top stuff they sell most time are quite cool.

I went into Cobblestone store Florida and asked what size was a picture because it was to high to reach. Someone working at the store said it was 4". I know it was bigger than that and ignored us. I should have gotten my tape measure out of my car and asked for a step stool. Asked the cashier if it was on line and just said yes! The day before a young man was so helpful. I wanted to know if they had a king sized comforter and they didn't have it. He looked it up on line. Now he was great!

I had a credit card with Bed Bath & Beyond payed it off and closed my account and will never shop at this store or Buy Buy Baby. I was terribly sick and missed my payment date. It had been 16months since I had a late payment and they would not honor the fee reversal and said they changed their policy to 18months.
This is bull**** and so is shopping at their store! Goodbye!

I have compared a LOT of products in this stores with other stores and online sites and it doesn't take long at all to find it a lot cheaper elsewhere. Only if they have an unusual item I can't find elsewhere will I shop this store.

If you ever want to redo your bath and bedroom this is the store. They have some beautiful stuff. And the prices is from the low to tye high. And the choices is unlimited! Great great store... 5 Stars ACROSS THE BOARD.

I Bought a Bissell 2 in 1 Steam n Vacuum early in 2018, used it once and NEVER worked again after that... lost receipt, been trying to get a copy and they just told me they do not have my info even though I paid by Debit and now I can't return it and lost out on $300... DO NOT BUY from them... they suck!
