Have had so many problems getting 4 of these chairs got 3 from amazon ca one perfect the other 2 severely cracked legs took so much convincing to get 3rd party seller to send me replacement legs. Didn't want to pack up whole chair send it back they wouldn't pick it up. Nobody help me during business hours. Son fixed 2 chairs that were not safe. Price way better and shipping free was half the time. I have 4 now may want 2 more buying one at a time. Was surprised and delighted to see chair in perfect shape box intact not beatup with slits in it. Came right to my door only wish delivery time and date more transparent got a day early but delivery person didn't knock and wait for a response. Box left outside my apt door. I don't think that's a good idea.
Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt. They were good to deal with. Overstock.com bought the name. You are now dealing with Overstock.com. I returned an item, unopened, and they refunded me half the money. They tell me that is in the fine print. They promised to exchange a $600 defective lamp but never did. I was told today it's too late.
I ORDERED A WEEK AGO. IT SAID DELIVERY MONDAY. I KNEW BY FRIDAY THERE WAS AN ISSUE WHEN TRACKING HAD NOT BEEN ENTERED. I CONTACTED THEM. THEY COULD NOT PROVIDE A SHIPPING BECAUSE IT HAD NOT BEEN SENT. I SAID CANCEL THEN. I WILL BUY ON AMAZON. THEY WOULD NOT LET ME CANCEL BECAUSE IT WAS WITH A THIRD PARTY VENDOR THEY WORK WITH. COME MONDAY AT THE END OF THE DAY, NO DELIVERY AND NO CHANGE OF DELIVERY DATE OR TRACKING EVEN AFTER SPEAKING TO THEM ON FRIDAY. I CONTACT THEM AGAIN AND THEY SAID AGAIN THEY CANNOT CANCEL THE ORDER. THEY COULD NOT PROVIDE ME WITH A SHIPPING TRACKING AND THE INFORMATION WOULD BE UPDATED SHORTLY. IT IS NOW 11.30PM AT NIGHT AND IT STILL SITS THERE TO BE DELIVERED TODAY. I WANT TO CANCEL BECAUSE I CAN ORDER THE ITEM WITH AMAZON PRIME WHICH IS RELIABLE. SO I AM NOW STUCK WITH NOT DELIVERED, NO SHIPPING TRACKING AND REFUSAL TO REFUND ME. IS THERE ANY LEGAL RECOURSE I HAVE THAT THEY REFUSE TO CANCEL THE ORDER GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES?

I am long time customer, and needed a pillows today, and learned that they pulled MyPillow product due to POLTICS and and the FAR LEFT. I will never step foot in this store again! I am telling my kids and everyone I know to NEVER shop at this place again. EVER!
I used to love BBB, but stopped shopping with them as much as the merchandise seem to like Sears, Kmart, JCpenny not keep pace with trends. The stuff all looks low end and like it would mostly be used in your Grandmother's trailer. You used to go in there and the bedding was wonderful and of the same quality as what you would find at Nordstrom and old Macy's before Macy's got kind a tacky.
I hope they can adjust quality and easy of ordering and the annoyances on the website and save themselves as I would be truly sad to see them go. The stock was so limited I bough few things for the dorm or for my home as they had nothing I liked the styling. The problem might be the Buyers. Where Walmart, target and Amazon have gone up, they, Land's End, Sears and Macy's have gone down.
When you can order and check out at Amazon and Target and have fresh tasteful styles in home goods being sold at Walmart (who would have called that?) why go to BBB and look for 1 or 2 styles of dust broom. Or 3 ugly brooms. They used to be the place that had 17 different scrubbers. So think what they are buying and selling is only appealing to older people, or people with limited income that can't afford to shop elsewhere.
I think better designed hipper products and of a slightly better quality and a website where one did not encounter an issue every time you tried to check out would go a long way. I think it's mostly the borning stock the high shipping and site hiccups. I shop with Amazon as I can get free shipping.
I made an online purchase in June. Both items from this order arrived damaged. When I contact customer service it's always I need to do this and that or no one knows what I'm talking about. I have been promised a refund that never happened. The last person I spoke with said it could take 30 days! Funny thing is it only takes one day to take the money from my account. Here we are the end of July still no refund. It is not my problem these products arrived damaged. Never have I delt with such horrible customer service. To top it off when I last spoke with customer service I asked 5-6 times to speak to a manger before she finally put me on hold then comes back to say no one is available. If I do not receive my refund I will be seeking other actions. I am so disgusted with the lack of customer service and competency to even fix the problem in the first place. From the beginning I said I just wanted a replacement which was such a process and for somthing that was not even my fault I had so much responsibility. They had the nerve to ask me to pick up an item I couldn't even lift and bring it back to ups to even begin shipping a new item! I don't want to be contacted by anyone. I want my money back and that is all. I have already replaced the damaged items with another company.

They sent me a 20% off coupon in the mail and it said text this code to this number for 20% off one item and you will receive your code to use mobile online so I text the code to the number and get a response --"YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR CODE IN ONE WEEK" Really? One week... I'm trying to buy Christmas gifts... you think I'm going to sit around for a WEEK and wait for a code for 20% off... hahahaha. So I just went to Amazon and found it cheaper anyway. BOGUS!
On 1 occasion I purchased a cold brew coffee maker. I got home with it, opened it and it was used. Disgustingly stained with coffee! Seriously why put a used item back on the shelf? So unsanitary. I live 30 min. Away from nearest BedB&B so returning was not a simple run back and exchange ordeal. Anyways I called to let them know and they were polite and told me to return at my convenience. On trip 2 I went to purchase a waffle maker. The red price tag on the shelf said was$99.99 Now$49.99. So my husband and I put two in our cart. Got to register and it rang up $99.99. A young man ran back to price check as well as myself and I took a photo of the price tag. And ask the lady working the area if $49.99 was the price for said waffle maker and she said yes it says that so I have to honor that price. She seemed angry and ripped the red tag off the shelf. Meanwhile the young man made it back to the register before me and told the cashier $99.99. So my husband who was still waiting to pay went ahead and paid full price for only 1. I get up to the service desk and show them the sale price and the lady tells me well he already paid for the 1st one so I can only honor the $49.99 for the 2nd waffle maker. Just rude! Should have honored price for both since we had both to begin with

The website is not very informative about how the choose to charge you for your purchase. I was under the impression that it was just the total of the entire purchase plus tax (with free shipping if the order is over $49). So day of, I was charged the almost $200 for everything. The next day I get into my online bank account, and about have a heart attack when I see another almost $200 gone from my checking!
I immediately called customer service, got a VERY quiet representative who seemed to act as if my calling took up a large chunk of her day. She informed me that the initially charge you the entire amount, and then when the order ships it also charges individually for the items until they arrive...? So am I being punished for making this purchase? Do I have to pay double if for some reason my order doesn't arrive?
This is absolutely ludicrous. What if I had not had that much money in my bank account? Would they have reimbursed me for over draft fee's they caused? (I really doubt they would). Why in the heck does it make sense to hold the same amount of money twice for one purchase until I receive it?! Pure insanity.

I placed an order here, the site would not allow me to pay via card, however, I was able to pay with Paypal which I rarely use. I messed up and sent it to an old address of mine. Since the site was not responding to login attempts, I called customer service mere minutes after placing the order who said they "would escalate" the delivery address change to their supplier, which apparently did not work as I received tracking showing the wrong address days later. I called back, they said I had to login to UPS to change the address, even though I explained I tried calling UPS to which I was told only the Sender can update the address. I told Bed Bath and Beyond this to which they said they cannot update the delivery address either. Updating a delivery address should be customer service 1-0-1, especially when reported minutes after the order being placed. None of this would have happened if their website worked and I could pay through card (OK OK - or if I paid attention when using Paypal) Nevertheless, this is astoundingly inept customer service.

I placed an order on 12/3. The order was supposed to be delivered between 12/6 and 12/12. The order was still processing after it should have been delivered. I got an email on 12/14 telling me my order has been shipped. On 12/16 the order still had not arrived and was no where near being delivered. Also, BBB only shipped 2 of the 3 items I had ordered. When I called to cancel the order, the customer service rep could do nothing for me. Apparently there is no way to cancel an order unless you cancel it 30 minutes after you place the order. She could not even cancel the 1 item that had not even been shipped yet. The customer service rep then proceeded to tell me that I would have to return the items to a store, which may or may not except them, or FedEx them back before they would even start the process of refunding my money. That is not helpful when 1 of the items in your order still has not even been shipped. Lastly, I was told that the warehouse is too busy to send an email out stating whether or not the 1 item I am still waiting to ship will be canceled or not. The customer service rep said the warehouse gets busy and does not have time to send out emails. Now I must wait until who knows when to receive items I do not want before I can get my money back. Do not order online from Bed Bath & Beyond. You may never see your items or get your money back.
I ordered a king size bedroom furniture. I was told delivery in two weeks which turned into almost 2 months. I recieved the furniture damaged and contacted customer service to refund and pick up the furniture. They said they would schedule pick up of furniture and only then can they refund me. It is now Two months later, I have kept contacting customer service and they keep telling me they can't get in touch with pick up and delivery department to schedule a pick up and process my refund. TWO MONTHS and you can't schedule a pick up, that is some messed up $#*!. They have the worst customer service ever. No one wants to do their job, just keep kicking me from department to the next when I call and still 2 MONTH LATER I HAVE YET TO RECIEVE A REFUND BECAUSE THEY CAN'T GET ANYONE TO PICK UP THE ORDER. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A BIG PROBLEM ON YOUR END. YOU OBVIOUSLY ARE MAKING DELIVERIES BUT CAN'T GIVE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK.
This WOULD e funny if the rug wasn't so expensive. On July 3 I bought an 8 by 10 washable rug for our living room.About six weeks later, when our cat threw up on it, I congratulated myself on my foresight and excellent housekeeping skills. I washed the rug in cold water at a local laundromat with extra large washers. I brought it home, still damp, and air dried it in our air conditioned home.
Imagine my surprise when I put it down the next day only to find that it SHRANK. Like, not a little, A LOT. It is now floating in the middle of the rug pad that previously went underneath it.
I wrote a nice letter to the company which replied, over a week later, that the 30 day return period had passed.
Nothing, not one word, was said in the product description about allowing for shrinkage. And it's a standard size, which is why rug pads are made in the same size.
In my original letter, I asked if they would simply send me a larger rug in the same style, which they do carry. No. Not happening.
So: they sent me a washable rug which wasn't washable and it's my fault for not intuiting this when I opened the box.
Their reply said. "It has been a pleasure helping you solve your concerns today". OMG. Is there intelligent life on their planet?
I got scammed. And there isn't anything I can do about it. If this review helps even one other person to keep scrolling and shop with another company, it will have been worth it.
Mishawaka store wasted 45 minutes of my time. Very dejected. Ordered hose on line (reserved purchase with credit card for in store pick up May 18th, 2017 ( Two expandable water garden hoses) Went to store 45 minutes later no hoses in stock. Manager looked up in his computer said he had six in stock BUT THEY WERE ALL DAMAGED RETURNS Did try BAIT AND SWITCH trying to selling me hoses at 39.99 vs 19.88

I ordered two bath towels and two hand towels for a bridal shower on 9-19-18. The order was shipped and arrived on 9-25-18. Well I received 1/4 of the order although (one bath towel); although on the tracking information it showed everything was delivered. I called customer support around 12n on 9-25-18 to let them know I had not received the complete order and that I needed it by 9-28-18 as the bridal shower is on Saturday, 9-29-18. The agent assured me that she could expedite and that I would have the rest of my order by no later than Friday, 9-28-18. The morning of 9-28-18 I tracked the package and it showed it had shipped and that was it. I called customer support again and talked to an agent who then said that my merchandise was in NJ (I am in NC) however she would check and give me a call back. This was at 9:00am EST. At the 3:00pm EST I had heard nothing back and called customer support back to be told sorry this is through one of our vendors and there is no way we can get it to you this quick. With all that being said no one really acted as if they cared and now I will be forced the morning of the shower to last minute try to pick something up for the bridal shower. Terrible experience, and the worse part is that after speaking to three customer support individuals 1) the first one misinformed me about the expedited order and the actual arrival date 2) the second one said she would check on things and call me back and never did 3) the third one could have cared less and just simply said "well there is really nothing I can do". Shop on-line somewhere else! Not worth it!
Since you are banning conservative suppliers, I will be dropping BB&B from my shopping option. Shame on you!

When we move to Florida this is the first place always my wifes' love to goes. She always buy here products we needed on our first and second house. She love to go nicwe and clean places.
I went into the BBB location in San Leandro Ca to do some returns and make new Purchases. First off there were no baskets outside for my return items and I had to drag my heavy items by hand and in my Purse. After gathering new items I went to cashier to exchange my recieted items. After making purchases I forgot one item and asked employee if I could bring basket with me, she said yes. Later an employee asked if he could take my basket to the front while I shopped. I said no problem. After shopping I noticed my paid items had been searched by a employee and items were missing. They told me they searched the camera and I did not have this item in my possession when entering. The item was in my purse because they had no baskets for me to put all my items in. Bottom line they refused to give me back my items. They never contacted police or mall security they took it upon themselves to investigate me for theft without even questioning me one time. I will be filing a claim with my local courts via my attorney.
I placed an order for a comforter set on 9/3/2020 and it "shipped" on 9/5. Great service, right? Well on 9/16 I still hadn't received my order so thought I'd track it again to determine what happened. The tracking number came up "waiting carrier pick up". Frustrated I contact Bed Bath & Beyond and couldn't believe it took over an hour of god awful hold music to get someone on the line. Someone based in the Philippines who I could barely understand and ended up repeating what she said and what I was saying. In the end she said she would check the warehouse and send an email. She did none of those things and the next day I called and again went though the same only this time suggesting they place a new order and have it ship 2-day via FedEx. That didn't happen and on about the 18th I called and this time waited 45 minutes, I asked for a refund. The man from the Philippines (I asked where he was located because it's very difficult to communicate) said he would process the refund and I should see it back on my card in 2-3 days. Today is 9/22 and I've contacted my bank to dispute the charge because I have yet to see my refund. I'm done with Bed Bath & Beyond and will NEVER do business with them again. It's absolutely terrible customer service and even upon an attempt to contact their corporate offices I was hung up on before I could speak to a person. Sheesh, thanks to Chase Bank I will receive my money back.

My experiences have been good. Never had a problem with a return or going into the store and them placing an order. Great coupon deals.
Way too expensive. Go next door to Ross or Marshalls before you shop there. Sometimes they have the item at more then 1/2 the price
