Have had so many problems getting 4 of these chairs got 3 from amazon ca one perfect the other 2 severely cracked legs took so much convincing to get 3rd party seller to send me replacement legs. Didn't want to pack up whole chair send it back they wouldn't pick it up. Nobody help me during business hours. Son fixed 2 chairs that were not safe. Price way better and shipping free was half the time. I have 4 now may want 2 more buying one at a time. Was surprised and delighted to see chair in perfect shape box intact not beatup with slits in it. Came right to my door only wish delivery time and date more transparent got a day early but delivery person didn't knock and wait for a response. Box left outside my apt door. I don't think that's a good idea.
Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt. They were good to deal with. Overstock.com bought the name. You are now dealing with Overstock.com. I returned an item, unopened, and they refunded me half the money. They tell me that is in the fine print. They promised to exchange a $600 defective lamp but never did. I was told today it's too late.
I love BB&B. Their customer service is fabulous and they will take anything back anytime. They stand behind their products and their name. It's such a delight to shop there too. The employees are great and helpful. The products are high quality generally. The sales are great too and their coupons for 20% off make me happy!
Keep it up. It's a fabulous company. (Hint: They should serve coffee and wine to shoppers! ;)
I ordered several wedding gifts. Most of them we're late or damaged. The last straw for me was I ordered patio chair pads. On Aug 18th. 3 came 1 day after expected day the last one came 3 weeks later. It was supposed to be sent Express mail. Everytime I called they had a different reason why it didn't arrive.
Placed an order for a child's birthday party 10 days before. It never came and they said it was SUPPOSED to be delivered on time. Now I'm told that because it came from a Vendor, it's their fault. The Vendor didn't process my order for another 6 days!
NOT FAIR! I now go to the party with no gift. Horrible customer service!

They have a great selection of so many household products. Towels are wonderful, rugs, accessories, drapes. I save my coupons because they are a great go to place. The do have an excellent return policy and stand behind their products.
I find everything for my house here... and they allow you to return your items whenever and for whatever reason. Keep your receipts and if something breaks, whether it's 1 year after or 5 years after purchase - BBB will exchange it for the new item available.
High quality products, fair prices, and a good online shopping experience. In my most recent shipment, I noticed that they automatically included a return shipping label incase I wanted to return something. I thought that was a really nice touch.
Lines too long, Cashiers rude and slow. Messy store. Went back as advised by friend after I found out that they will take almost ANYTHING back weather you bought it there or not. My friend got a blender and hand mixer at a garage sale for less than $10 that did not work. She took them back to BBB without a receipt and they gave her an in store credit for a better one. I don't know how these people stay in business.
Stay away from these horrible horrible people! My wife bought a pair of slippers b/4 our son was born and, bed bath beyond policy is to return items no questions asked, I had also the receipt! It not did the store refuse, but it was sent to a letter st prevention worker to call me and tell me that the policy has changed in a rude manner and refused to accept the return! I will not only never shop there again, but I will let as many people as my can know to stay AWAY from this store! No more bed bath beyond! I have purchased several items from BB&B and I can say without a doubt that I am a loyal customer. Not only they do price match, but their return policy is amazing. I had return a juicer that I purchased from BB&B online after using it for few months (it suddenly died on me) and they happily took it back and refunded me the money. I was afraid they might not honor the return at all or give a lame excuse but they didn't ask any questions. Their staff is always very polite and super helpful.
I highly recommend this store and don't mind being their spokesperson at all as they have always exceeded my expectations.
Yes, I depend on this store for the most mundane and necessary objects, I will confess.
It is however wonderfully/dreadfully mediocre -- depending upon your POV.
This behemoth is now located in every sizable community in the US in all of its splendid "boringness"... another metastasis in corporate Americana. I find it one step above Walmart and Dollar General, in terms of quality and originality.
If you are looking for the most average of housewares, kitchen gadgetry, bed and bath linens and such... you might be satisfied.
I long for the days of the interesting and privately own and run kitchen goods store, linen shops and even the good old five and dime known as Ben Franklin's or Woolworth's.
Most of the sales "associates" are clueless... and the layout of the brick and mortar stores is confusing and ridiculous.

Terrible customer service. So difficult to get to a live person. The so-called live person I got I think was braindead. It took 22 minutes on the chat just to start a return. Not at all efficient and very frustrating repeating the same answers to the questions I'd already answered. I will never buy from bed bath & beyond/overstock again.
A great place to find many household items, but organization of store and displays make the shopping experience a potential traffic accident and/or headache producing event. Layouts make no sense except to make you walk through EVERY department to get around... but, for me, it does NOT induce me to pick up more, but rather to race that cart around the floor and get the heck out of dodge!
I love the products at BBB. I recently ordered some things for my new home and they all came as expected and were even secured to be sure that nothing got broken, but what upset me was that if I would've used my coupon I would've paid more because i lost the free shipping. What type of crazy is that? You give me a discount, but I have to order more to keep the free shipping? Yea, that doesn't make since. Overall, I would still order from them, but I would check to be sure it's at the store first so I can use my discounts.
I ordered item online. It was delivered to the wrong address. They tried delivery 2 more times with door dash, and the order was cancelled both times. They only refunded me the item amount and not shipping even though they never got the item to where it was supposed to go! Horrible!

After several calls and emails to customer service about a product that arrived with missing pieces, I was promised that a replacement would be sent.
Nothing arrived. Follow-up calls resulted in a repeat of the cycle.
I ordered a gift from the wedding registry to bed bath and beyond. I never been so disappointment to any store as bad as this time. Tonight, I received the package that I ordered since I had to return the 1st one due to damaged box (you cannot gift it, it's embarrassing) It's in a box but they packaged it in the plastic bag. Why? That's a box then it should be in the box. Tonight, it's the same thing! It was shipped in a bag! So... Of course the box is ruined and worse thing my item is broken (mini food processor). Now, I don't have a gift on time for the couple. Thanks to you BED BATH AND BEYOND I'm having to return it again for the 2nd time around. I have been dealing with this 1 item for more than a month! This will be my last trip to the store. You just lost another customer. I am super disappointed and very unsatisfied with this purchase. Shipping is way too long, wrong packaging and broken item. What else could go wrong!
Horrible customer service! First they placed my order in store, I got out of there with my email confirmation and my bank charge notification. Then 7 days later I call to keep track on my order and they tell me there is no order, that I didn't pay for it. I check my bank and in fact there was no charge so I decided to place it again. They gave me a$10 discount for the inconvenience and gave me a very weird confirmation # and then I never got an email. So i call 3 days later and they tell me again that there is no order. But mind you, my bank is charging me twice. The horrible store is located at 30 international drive Flanders NJ. And all these ladies here do not know what they're doing. And the customer service over the phone is worse, the guy apparently wanted to sleep or go home, he wasn't there for customer service. Still haven't received my money back!
Me and my husband encountered 4x exchange of your items from West Edmonton Mall Bed and Bath outlet. We are very disappointed on the shipment that we received today. We paid for a queen size with 8 piece comforter and we received an incorrect ones with 6 piece on it only. This would be the last purchase we will do in your store!
I placed an order then had questions about the order. I e-mailed but they sent an e-mail back saying they aren't responding to e-mails, just texts and phone. It took forever to find the phone number to call, only to be told that my wait time was over an hour. I hung up after one hour, forty minutes as no one had answered. So much for customer service.
I have found things I never expected to find on this site. Have ordered a couple of times and been quite happy with the products, the delivery time, and customer service. They respond to a question in a very timely manner. I will go back without a doubt!
Bought a personalized carving board which came with a stain on it (I sent pictures as proof.) Customer service solution #1: I order a new one, pay a second time and send the damaged back and wait for the money to put back on my credit card after they receive the item. I asked them to send out a replacement for free and as soon as I have it I would send the damaged one back which was denied. Solution #2: If I would try to fix it and keep it they give me 10$ BUT only to the so called wallet! Since I don't know if I ever buy from BBB I asked to put the 10$ back on my credit card which was denied too. That is unbelievable, that is no customer service at all. It is not my fault that the item arrived with a stain so why don't you find a customer friendly solution. Management never contacted me like promised. BBB that's a shame.
I totally agree with the reviewer who wrote about the scents at BB&B. I do not go to this store anymore. The Rockville MD store is an assault to my senses. As soon as I walk in I am confronted with all kinds of scents. I suffer from migraines and this store is to be avoided for anyone who get headaches and migraines and is scent sensitive. Too bad the store management will not listen to these complaints and provide a scent free place to shop for all of us who are sensitive to smells like those they blast throughout their stores!
Tried to buy a Kate and Laurel wall mirror as a gift. Had beveled edges and a white frame. Opened it up. Two corner edges had at least 1/8" gap and the corners looked bulged. It wasn't due to shipping. The hard cardboard backing was glued over the cracks. I returned it. Then I tried to order the product a second time, which was a waste of time. Exact same problem. Now I have to return this one. Can someone give me back my time and remove my trouble?!? Don't buy this product from Bed Bath and Beyond! You'll regret it. And surely don't try it twice! Disgusted.
Ordered an item. It arrived LATE and was used. I sent pics pics showing the wear. They offered me a coupon to use on another purchase (not happening fool me once shame on you, twice shame on me) and a partial refund of $3. I paid just over $80 for the item. The image is of the item straight out of the box.
