Have had so many problems getting 4 of these chairs got 3 from amazon ca one perfect the other 2 severely cracked legs took so much convincing to get 3rd party seller to send me replacement legs. Didn't want to pack up whole chair send it back they wouldn't pick it up. Nobody help me during business hours. Son fixed 2 chairs that were not safe. Price way better and shipping free was half the time. I have 4 now may want 2 more buying one at a time. Was surprised and delighted to see chair in perfect shape box intact not beatup with slits in it. Came right to my door only wish delivery time and date more transparent got a day early but delivery person didn't knock and wait for a response. Box left outside my apt door. I don't think that's a good idea.
Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt. They were good to deal with. Overstock.com bought the name. You are now dealing with Overstock.com. I returned an item, unopened, and they refunded me half the money. They tell me that is in the fine print. They promised to exchange a $600 defective lamp but never did. I was told today it's too late.
So glad they brought back the chance to get some oldies but goodies, I like the lotion a lot, candles smell great, the store is nice to go into. Great products and good sales now and then.
HOW IS THE OVERALL RATING ALMOST A 4 WHEN EVERY REVIEW IS 1-STAR? I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. Even joined the "Beyond Plus" program. Sorry to say I'll never shop here again. BED is the first word in company's name, yet the 3 stores near me have NOTHING on their shelves... just a smattering of sheets (mostly one brand and clearance), only clearance mattress toppers in odd sizes only, no comforters in stock, barely any pillows, etc. Sadly they've turned into a thrift store, selling random food items, makeup and As Seen on TV junk. They always look like they're going out of business. This was once a place I could walk out with what I needed- now they say you have to buy online. And by the way, their online shipping and customer service is HORRENDOUS. No one answers the phone and shipping takes several weeks to over a month (and I PAY for a membership!). Also went round and round to cancel my annual membership. Thx for ruining a good thing- bye bye!

Just read consumeraffairs.com about Bed and bath online shopping, read Better Bureau online shopping complaints. From my experience, you will end up with another full-time job for months fixing a disaster 100% of the time when using their online, and 100% of the time your order will either stay "in-processing" with nobody being able to explain why, or a month or more later you'll discover the gift was never delivered and nobody contacted you to let you know or explain why. This is NOT AN ISOLATED experience, it is almost guaranteed they will NOT ship your order, nor notify you they cancelled it from their end. 100% of the time, nobody can tell you why, nor will they EVER tell you what happened regardless the email/phone/etc. Method you try. The worst heartless company I have ever shopped at! I asked for a refund for the Beyond + membership that I signed up for on March 17,2020. I signed up because I wanted to redecorate my house but due to the virus I can not. All the stores closed a few days later and the online shopping has limited or out of stock items. AND shipping is slow, but it does not matter because I can not afford to buy anything. Well, they refused to refund me. The girl on the phone said she and I quote "I DO NOT CARE about your situation and I am dealing with a world wide pandemic"! SERIOUSLY, everyone is. Well, I called to complain and the girl hung the phone up on me! For your best interest DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP OR SHOP HERE! These people dont care about their customers and the prices are inflated anyway. Honestly I have never had an experience like this before. I am speechless.
Expensive, but with their coupons... I love navigating in their aisles, but I am always super tempted to buy something I "really need/want/always dreamed about" and want not on my shopping list.
Where do I start...I don't dislike this company. I have ordered from them and shopped in their stores many times. I also have ordered from Overstock.com with no issues. The combination of the two? Not good. I think some of these companies hope that they make it so difficult to resolve an issue with an order or refund that the customer just gives up and goes away. That is not me, but I resent the time I have to spend on it because they should value their customers more. I ordered a bread machine and they sent me an iron. Took 5 days for them to pick up the product, then they would process a replacement. So that's one week. Waited another week to allow time to process. No bread machine. I call them. Oh...that item is out of stock. Did they process my refund like they should have? No...wasn't even aware until I called. Now they have to cancel the replacement (because they don't have one), but processing my refund is going to be a problem because it was processed as a replacement. Granted none of this is my fault. So now they have to send something to "management" to approve my refund. That will take a few days. Called again. Asked where is my refund? Oh they are going to process today (seriously?) and it will take 3-5 days. I don't know about anyone else but I don't have the time or patience to deal with this nonsense. Wish me luck on getting my refund. Order from Amazon.

I ordered a white kitchen sink that ended up being off white. When I asked for a return (multiple times) I was ignored. I haven't heard anything in a month and a half.

Placed orders for some items but those items were never shipped out. Called to get a refund and got the run around. Been about 3 weeks and still no refund issued for items not received.
The main reason why I am ok with the GF bringing me here, is because it smells good and the towels are soft. Plus... there is usually good eye candy around.
About two yeas ago I ordered from this company and paid my account off and the next year I got a bill for membership I cancelled the card and paid the fees, the next year the same now we are in year three and I don't know how to get out of this trap don't do business with this company.

First of all, what a big mistake to leave my 20% off coupon on one in-store item at home. I went in to the store located in Franklin TN on Cool Springs Blvd to purchase a Cuisinart Panini Maker. I tried to use the mobile text offer to get the discount but get this... the coupon doesn't arrive for 24 hrs! Anyway, they refused to work with me on avoiding the time and expense to return and get the appliance in time for my Mom's birthday. Seriously? I asked for the manager and district manager's names which they obliged. It was a great way of saying "Yes, I deserve the Retailers Moron Award." <<<Please allow 24 hours for processing>>> So, we ordered the Panini Maker from Amazon for just a few dollars more than the 20 OFF net price. (Free shipping by the way). A few things that I hope they consider as I'm going to share my story on various websites and their corporate office. My parents own a cabin rental business and maintain the properties with everything that Bed Bath and Behind the Times sells. My parents are just DYING for a reason to see overpriced brick and mortar Neanderthals who play discount games close their doors. Oh well, I hope 30 bucks was worth it!
I have never made a worse purchase in my life than from this store. I purchased with a general BBB gift card that could be used at Harms, Buy Buy Baby, all their other stores. I made a purchase from BBB.com, and they sent the wrong curtains. Instead of the refund going back to a gift card that I could use at any of their stores, they put it in MyFunds as an expiratory amount, which makes no sense. I made another order, had no choice but to since I can't spend the gift card somewhere else, and the item that came also didn't work. Fast forward to months later, and I still am stuck with these MyFunds that I can't get rid of. I never want to purchase from this store again and have been trying not to, but I have no choice but to use these MyFunds before they expire. If there is one store I recommend not purchasing from, it's Bed Bath and Beyond. Go literally anywhere else where you will easily get your money back if there are any issues. I hate this store and will never in my life buy a gift card for myself or anyone else here.

It's difficult/near impossible to get a refund for items for online purchases. In-store, if you pay by card, is a different story. But online - woah, one of my biggest mistakes is getting stuck in a cycle with this store. Never again

Store 1356 in Roseville MN is stellar, and has my HIGHEST recommendation. I have too many wonderful stories to tell you about in this tiny space here. This particular store deserves 6 stars, mainly because of the staff and the managers. Wonderful people, wonderful place, great product, and if they don't have it they ALWAYS find it for me. I placed my order on 12/4/2020 for two items a Cuisinart Coffee Maker for Pods and Google Chromecast with Google TV and my coffee maker was supposed to be delivered same day & was NOT. Now my Google device should have been received by now and won't ship till tonight 12/14/2020.
I bought 15 items they shipped it and they only shipped 1. They showed order complete I contacted them and they fixed it but it took a bit. And I probably will not order again.

They are a bit pricey and it's really hard to get a 20% discount. Do yourself a favor BB&B and be more generous with those discounts. It goes a long way with your customers!
Bed bath & beyond emailed me multiple times for days before my item was to be delivered. I stayed home all day because my item was going to be delivered on Tuesday I had multiple emails verifying this. I stayed home all day Tuesday it was beautiful out my item has not arrived they have blown up my email but can't send the item on time. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!
I ordered a table online. It was shipped promptly, and when I went to check the tracking info, I saw that it was delivered to the door, in the WRONG STATE. I called and was then told that 15 were available, but that I would probably need to wait until the April shipment. How does this make sense? I asked them to check with the manufacturer and email me an explanation. They said they would, but did not. A week later I called again. Again, a more sincere promise this time to email with a time for delivery. No response again. Five days later I called and was told they had just received an answer this morning (! - not sure if I believe that), and that the table was not now and never would be available. So my only option was to get a credit to my credit card, and, in these days of technology, it would take about 12 days! My suspicion is that the seller did not want to sell a table that cost over $500. With a 20 per cent off coupon. Never again with this company. Not trustworthy and very poor communication.
A 60-day return policy for what turns out to be a defective product is not enough time. Most people would rather shop at COSTCO, WHERE THE CUSTOMER IS TREATED WITH ENOUGH RESPECT TO WARRANT HAVING A LIBERAL RETURN POLICY.
I recently placed an online order which ended up with items being out of stock. It's annoying to pay for items that end up not being in stock. It's even more annoying that there was no sign of any refund being processed for those items!
I was assured by the cashier at pickup that I would receive an email receipt after pickup. I never received a receipt. Instead I received a confirmation of pickup for the complete order -including items that I never received!
I proceeded to chat with an agent and request a refund. I had to correct them when they gave me an insufficient refund amount. They then gave me a refund amount not including taxes! When I asked about why taxes are not refunded, they said they'd need to open a case with their internal team to refund the full amount. Ridiculous. Of course the full amount should always be refunded. It was their fault for not have the stocked items updated properly and allowing me to order unavailable items in the first place.
They need to update their system for online transactions. Most other businesses automatically and immediately refund me for out of stock items. Even better are those that are up to date with their stock.
Rather than providing convenience with online ordering, I ended up spending more time and frustration having to sort the refund.

Online orders may not be fulfilled. You might save some trouble by not paying for items that may be out of stock. It may be helpful to see if the items are in stock online and going to the store to pick them up yourself. Or looking elsewhere that may be more reliable.

I recently placed a $5000 order. 7 hours after placing the order I received a coupon for 25% off. I called and asked could they process the Coupon and recent the difference, Maureen advices that she's not familiar with how to do so. I asked her to ask a colleague for help. She puts me on hold and comes back and says she's unable to do so and that I can use it on my next purchase. The discount would have been over 700$ for the items it could be used on. I asked to cancel the order so I can reorder using the discount. The order was still in processing. She advised that I can request a cancellation but can't guarantee it will be accepted. That made NO since to me. I then told her to cancel the entire order and I won't reorder again. She rather loose a 5k sale instead of figuring out how to make my coupon work. Incredible! Now the cancellation. She puts in a request for cancellation but says I can't guarantee it will be accepted. She states that if it ships just call to have it returned. I asked why ship it if I'm cancelling? I then asked does she know the cost of freight on a living room and bed room set. This is absurd. One star is too many from them. Stay far away from this place!
I love this store and I will confess I over spend every time I go in there. I can't help myself I just do. So many unique novelty items for your home.
