I had a chocolate dipped strawberry from a box a friend received. It was all I could do not to spit it out. The berry was not soggy, but the "chocolate" was pasty and literally had no flavor. The berries were shipped in a special box with ice packs, so they arrived in good shape. They have also kept for longer than I think normal, which makes me wonder types of preservatives they use. I had high hopes before the first bite - now I know what not to order.

This is the second bad (and final) experience I have had with Shari's Berries! The first time I chalked it up to a bad batch. The second batch (one year later) just as awful. The chocolate coatings are delicious--but then you bite into the berries (which are the whole point of these confections) and they are very mushy and acidic with green towards the top. The size of each treat is misleading because it turns out that it is very thick chocolate coating with puny berries inside. Back when this company was new I absolutely loved what I received (years ago) --back then the berries were ripe, huge, and tasted wonderful. Never again, sadly.

So I ordered 12 roses and 6 Strawberries, instead of roses my wife got tulips and irises, and strawberries were frozen not at all like on the picture, I called and after a long wait got a service rep, with almost no English... i mean really? And in the middle of processing my order got cut off and could not call and reach anyone due to traffic, and after calling about 10 times i just gave up. I'd rather go to the store and get what I want, but the reason I used them was because I'm a truck driver and I'm 2500 miles away! What a joke, thanks for ruining my Valentine's day

Paid for guaranteed delivery by Valentine's Day. Casually delivered them next day when I called they explained "were busy" and then when my wife got the strawberries they were old and inedible. So if you want to pay $50 for late, old strawberries covered in chocolate these people are awesome

One of my favorite treats were Shari's Berries>>>I received a box for my birthday from my son. So disappointed that they would even try to sell these and expect to get another order! Strawberries were not even ripe. So sour and half green I could not eat anything but the coating which was the only thing good. I will never order and doubt my son will again either. Very expensive to start with and end up tossing out.

My family bought me these for Mothers day. First, nothing like the pics, a chemical smell as soon as you opened the box and then mushy chemical tasting berries. I called to complain. They sent another box... the same quality! Chemical, mushy, ugly... Threw them all out... save your money!

Wish we have known before about how irresponsible these people are. It was supposed to be a nice Mother{s Day surprise for our employees and Gifts were never delivered . NEVER AGAIN .... and will tell as much people as we can not to . "- 0 rate". They should be penalized somehow!!!

Ordered as a Valentine's gift and paid extra shipping fee so that they would arrive either 2/13 or 2/14. Valentine's Day came and went without the order arriving. When I complained via email I was offered (1) free replacement order or (2) a full refund. I choose a full refund but still needed to exchange two more emails to verify a bunch of information they already had from my initial order. Late that day I received an email that my replacement order (not full refund) was on the way. I had to call and spend 20+ minutes on the phone to finally get the refund issued which will still take another 5-7 days to process. They charge almost $60 for 6 strawberries, I expected the customer service to at least be decent. Don't waste your time.

After seeing all these other reviews I guess I am lucky. I am very disappointed but the strawberries looked better than many of the other pictures I have seen. Not nearly as beautiful as advertised though. The flowers are a mess. They were delivered upside down and I had to do quite a bit of pruning to get them to look this good. I would have been far better off buying from a local florist or even the grocery store.

I received my Mother's day gift Friday that my 11 year old son bought me with help from his dad. They were overripe or just not edible. This is ridiculous my son used all his saved money to get this for me. I feel so bad for my son because your company has horrible products and think it's okay to ship gross strawberries to anyone is very disappointing.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this company if you want ripe strawberries, go to your local store and see if they can make some at least they care!

Thought i would try something different than flowers ordered a dozen berries for my wife for valentines,,,, no show,,,, make me look and feel real good... of course she believes me that i had them ordered,,,, ya right,,, thanks shari berri for the wonderful valentines day

When you order something and you are charged an extra fee for guaranteed delivery on a select date. I would think it would come on that day. It wont happen again I'll order local. How do u expand to 7 year old

You leave a number for them to call with issues, which they do not use. I sent an order to someone very important to me the week before Christmas... I DID accidentally put the incorrect address. They were delivered in the correct development but the wrong house. The person who received them reached out to Shari's Berries right away. They emailed me Jan 15. That email asked me to contact them for a refund or resolution. When I did reach out to them they basically stated that it was my mistake so there was nothing they could do.

I ordered choc. Strawberries from the for christmas gift and were delivered melted, The person called and thought i did it as a prank, What a way sherries berries you made me look horrible. Dont waste your time or money from them

When I called to try to get this corrected I was disconnected twice! They did not apply my local radio promotion for one order and described hidden delivery charges for the other. To make matters worse my family was not even impressed by the berries! Don't bother ordering from here... 2 orders that were supposed to sum 80$ (with displayed delivery charges) were actually 120$!

Chocolate covered strawberries sent for Valentine day.
Arrived on time, but was embarrassed when my daughter sent me a photo, attached, look at how big the box inserts are as compared to the strawberries.
Called customer service and told they would replace them. Replacement arrived and they sent the wrong selection, nuts on strawberries, can't have nuts. Called customer service again offered a 50% discount.
No way will be disputing my credit card. By the way they are now owned by 800flowers.
Don't waste your money.

While I have ordered chocolate-covered strawberries from Shari's Berries many times over the years and have been satisfied with the quality, do NOT order flowers through them! I paid $92.80 (including a $9.99 service charge and $7.92 tax) for what looked like a gorgeous arrangement to send my mom for Mother's Day (see 1st picture below of advertised arrangement) and instead my mom got a sorry-looking bunch of flowers (see 2nd picture) I could have had my sister go to the grocery store and find a more attractive arrangement to give my mother for a fraction of what I was charged! Save your money and embarrassment by NOT ordering flowers from Shari's Berries!

I received my Mother's Day gift on Friday and unfortunately there were ants inside the box and the flowers were completely wilted. I called customer service to see if I can get a replacement unfortunately, you have to speak to somebody in India which is very hard to communicate with. Not happy with my shipment at all. They are sending a new one out but I feel bad for my son for trying to make this a great Mother's Day. Such a crappy outcome.

We ordered two days before mothers day and it got here on mothers day in a box with an ice pack. Everything we ordered was in the box, fresh, and cold. They even included a coupon! A dozen berries, four cookies, a custom made card, AND shipping and handling (which costed 30 dollars) only costed 80 dollars! I love this place and would definitely order online from them again. 100 out of 10.5 Stars. 100%!

I was excited to try for the first time but was disappointed with the quality since they were not ripe enough and sweet as expected. I could of bought locally at my grocery store for much cheaper but thought they would be exceptional since this company specializes in the product. Wont buy again

My 4 year old and I ordered berries for his mother and they did not show up so I called customer service. The non English speaking customer service lady said they would ship one asap (which was 5 days later). They refused to give me any kind of a discount or refund. But they kept repeating that I would not be charged for the second order like they were giving me some kind of break.

I received a flyer in the regular mail. 25% off and the discount would be applied at check out. I was ordering $300 worth of products. After the tediously long ordering process was complete, it did not give me the discount. I think they hope you go ahead and place the order without the discount. Called the phone number to question/complain. They would not give me the discount despite it being a valid date and coupon. Called again with same result. Both customer service representatives spoke poor English. Will NEVER EVER order from this company.

I ordered my dozen dipped strawberries for my husband for Valentines day. I received my email today with delivery tracking number and will not get until tomorrow 2/15. I paid the extra $9.99 for guaranteed 2/14 delivery. Called Customer Service, horrible english, could only refund the extra delivery surcharge, I demanded to speak with a manager was told all were unavailable. Called back again with hope of getting a representative with better english, demanded full refund since they could not fulfill their obligation they "guaranteed". I was given full refund. Will NEVER order from here again. Bad business!

First and last time purchasing anything from here. Placed my order last week. Shipping was $16.99 PLUS an additional delivery fee of $4.99 for delivery on 2/13. I opened the box to make sure I got what I ordered, and strawberries were all broken, and besides being broken they were the smallest strawberries I've even seen and did not look fresh! Will be sticking to edible arrangements from now on!

Spent a lot of money for my mother that lives 1000 miles away. I received a confirmation that it was delivered as planned. When I called to see how she liked her gift my mother said that nothing arrived. I was livid. I spoke to an outsourced customer service rep who I could hardly understand. Yes the refunded my money immediately but now my mother has no mother's day gift. I will NEVER order from here again.
