I got my mother some chocolate covered strawberries for mothers and and we took a bite and had to spit it out they were so gross the strawberries left an awful taste in our mouths I spent $60 for 6 berries I cannot eat

Be very careful of the barrage of hidden charges that comes close to tripling the misleading "special" price. Check the total carefully before committing to buy. Don't know why these companies can't just be straight forward with their shipping and guaranteed delivery date charges.

I ordered a dozen dipped strawberries to be sent to a friend for his birthday. When they arrived the strawberries looked like an elephant had stepped on them. They were inedible and were tossed in the trash. Not only was this embarrassing but I spent almost $100.00 on this order. It was embarrassing for me and money wasted. I don't even want to give this company a rating because there are no negative numbers.

Berries and flowers arrived late due to NJ snowstorm. Emailed customer support and Shari's Berries replied same day and issued a full refund with apology. I felt guilty as the berries were very well picked, made, and packaged. Highly recommend.

Horrible service. Chocolates were never delivered. I had to follow up. No communication back to the customer if there is a problem.
I called their Customer Service line - It goes to an overseas help desk that barely speaks english and they are reading from a script.
I have two orders that have been messed up. Find the local provider and go direct.

I placed an order to be delivered on Valentines day and They did not deliver. It was impossible to get in touch with them due to their high volume of telephone calls. I emailed them and still waiting to hear back. They had no problem charging my debit card. They did not fulfill there contract. I will not use this service again

Only received part of my order after paying extra to get it by a certain time. Way too expensive, customer service is a joke with a huge language barrier and I'm still waiting for my refund on the item I did not receive. I'll NEVER order from them again!

Your company helped to ruined my Mothers Day - my sweet husband purchased a box of berries from you as he has before but they came moldy. The chocolate had melted and the strawberries were moldy, mushy, rotten, and completely uneatable. I was so heartbroken- you used to be a favorite.
When he reached out to you and your company was only willing to give him 1/2 of the cost back when not one strawberry could be eaten… shame on you!

Received for Christmas, was so disappointed in the size of the berries, they show huge in the pictures, but are really just a regular strawberry, dipped in chocolate. At least we received them. But very disappointing. Nothing impressive, and when you open it, you feel sorry for the person that spent so much money for 6 or even 12 berries. Little berries, Walmart has bigger berries. Sad

There okay chocolate covered strawberries. The berries were fresh and the chocolate was good. But for the price I could have gotten better locally. In the radio commercials for these strawberries they say there the biggest strawberries you'll ever see. There not. There no bigger then you'll get in a carton of strawberries at the supermarket. Even if you get them on some special with delivery your looking at $50 roughly for a dozen.
To sum it up I would not buy them again.

Thought I would splurge and get my wife some flowers and a selection of these over-priced eight dollar a piece dipped strawberries and some pops and cherries. Total of four items. I selected a saturday delivery which was an extra $8 delivery charge. All four items for same address, same day delivery. I get to checkout and the standard delivery plus extra was applied to EACH item. $16.99+8.00. So over $100 dollars to deliver this small amount of stuff. I honestly don't know how they have any customers. My wife would really rather have the $250 to spend on a myriad of other things.

With all the disappointments this year I thought Shari's berries would be something special for my daughter's 16th Birthday. I was wrong. After paying almost $65 dollars for a dozen small pathetic strawberries I just feel totally ripped off. I will never purchase anything from them again. My Daughter was so disappointed. I will tell everyone how this experience was nothing short of pathetic. I Added a Hersey kiss so the size of the strawberries can be seen.

I ordered some berries to be delivered for my wife on her birthday. Date of order was 11/25/2019 to be deliver 12/12/2019. I did not receive my order. I called customer service and they said they would refund my money. As of today 01/03/2020 I haven't received it. I've called at least 3 times and still no refund. I have ordered from them many times before but not anymore. They deserve zero stars for the way they handle this order. NEVER AGAIN!

Shipping was not delivered before noon as promised and they still charged me for that. Their shipping price is ridiculous. I will update my review if I get any help from their customer service. I would not recommend Shari's Berries.

The Shari's Berries that were sent to my mom were delivered 1 week AFTER Mother's Day and they were over ripe. Also the chocolate did not cover all of the strawberries. The cold pack was completely warm and the chocolate was starting to melt. We received a second delivery of Strawberries 1 week later and these were just as bad as the first batch. Once again they were melting and the cold pack was warm. Some of the strawberries even had mold on them. I'm not sure what has happened to Shari's Berries but we won't be ordering from them again.

EVERY order I have ever placed with this company has had errors is some kind. (Mostly messed up delivery dates and lost shipments that were their fault.). The last order, birthday gifts for my mother-in-law, was also jacked up but the service rep said we would get two $25 credits and we simply needed to call back when we were ready to place our next order. I just got off the phone with them during which they acknowledged we had been promised the 2 $25 credits but because the previous rep had not done some clerical task, we would not get them. Somehow, their incompetence was now my fault. I'm done with them. I was denied the opportunity to speak to a manager and was offered a single $20 credit that I would not be able to use for the order I was about to place. Sorry, no. That order was deleted and I will never go back. I will NOT accept being lied to.

Ordered berries to be delivered to mother for her 100th birthday. The only delivery window they could provide was between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Turned out, she was at birthday lunch at 1:30, when they came by. So she didn't get her birthday gift. When the berries got delivered the next day, they were not delivered by a service, but by an individual who appeared to be an Uber driver or something like that. Completely unprofessional appearance and berries were warm. Gave me the creeps to some degree.
Tip for consumers:
Note that recipient must be available virtually all day and into the evening and that delivery person is likely to be a unprofessional Uber driver in some old jalopy... who will have your berries in his or her possession for who-knows-how-long.

If you think the Strawberries look so good in the commercials don't do it! I ordered as a Mother's Day gift which was delivered after the fact 3 days late. Which as you can imagine Fresh Strawberries were no longer fresh! Rotten berries and melted chocolate were delivered to my Mom AFTER Mother's Day! I even read the bad reviews but I thought it can't be that bad! It is! Don't waste your money! And the shipping is a whole other story! They charge 14.99 PLUS 4.99 for the guaranteed day! They didn't even deliver on my "guaranteed" day! Ridiculous! They offered to only refund my shipping costs but I absolutely refused and demanded a full refund which I did get. But my Mom got nothing on her Mother's Day who lives 1200 miles away from me. So my advice is please don't order from here! There are better places out there!

Ordered berries for my mom and my sister for Mother's Day, and they were supposed to be delivered on Saturday. They finally arrived Sunday night around 7, and the packaging was soggy and the berries had fallen apart. Called customer service, and they sent replacements, to be delivered today. It is now 9:24 pm, and the order has not arrived. I'm not sure if this is a FedEx problem, or a Shari's berries problem, but it sure makes me look bad. I will order something locally in the future!

As first time customers, we had an order delivered today for my birthday(feb 11 2017), the chocolate coatings were broken, the pretzels were broken into pieces as well. We are having a refund issued by customer service because of how disappointed we were today. We will not order from this company again, plus, we had ordered for valentines day for my daughter, will see how her order arrives on tuesday, feb 14,2017. As first time customers, we now read the reviews on many sites, and this company had mostly bad reviews, Do not waste your money.

First my boyfriend told me to look out for a package on Valentines day. He said it would be delivered before noon. I almost decided to forgo my group lunch with my office until one of my coworkers said he would keep an eye out and had to stay behind for a delivery for something else anyways. After returning back to the office after 1, he said there was no delivery. When I got home after anxiously listening out for a package I gave up.
My boyfriend had lots of meetings scheduled that day and this valentines failure was not what he needed. Long story short, the delivery finally showed up. A day later. He paid extra to have it delivered the day of Valentines day and before noon. The total for 6 strawberries with chocolate was $88 dollars. We will not be using this service again.

Ordered an arrangement to be delivered at the Emergency Dept to my wife who is an ER Nurse. I made sure before I ordered that it could be done. Shows to have been delivered at a dock... I called and the lady that answered the phone was rude and actually even hung up on me. I called back but she never picked up. I wish I would've read the reviews before buying. I don't that company staying in business too long with this terrible service.

Ordered these last mother's day and she didn't get them. When I called to give them the opportunity to right their wrong, the rep said he'd send out "another batch free of charge". I said to just refund my money because it was already a week past Mother's day. He would not refund my money. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said he IS the supervisor. Will not do business with again and will not recommend them any time an opportunity presents itself. It's a shame because when she finally got her "free" berries, she loved them. By the way, stop saying it's free when you finally give me your product that I already paid for without a refund.

Years ago I dealt with 1-800-FLOWERS. Same company! I wish I had known before I placed an order. They asked me to look at a calendar and pick a date. Some days were blocked out so I picked a date a week in advance. They said delivery was on its way. Gave me a tracking number. It showed progress. Nothing was delivered. After 4 days I called this place and they said that my order was cancelled through them. They already billed me. I asked when we're you going to tell me? They suck. Never order flowers on line. You think your loved one got a wonderful bouquet. Your love one will call you and thank you. But if we're see what was sent them it is nothing like they describe to you. Let's go back to the malls!

My husband ordered flowers and a dozen chocolate cover strawberries. When I tell you I was extremely disappointed, it's not an understatement. The flowers were turning brown, underdeveloped, and damaged at the stems. They looked nothing like the picture. The chocolate strawberries were small in size and spoil. Also the the chocolate was broken into pieces. It was a whole mess. Never again!
