When my order arrived the chocolate and nuts were crushed and had come off the berries. I will never buy from them again. I paid 96.00 for 15 strawberries that were supposed to make my mom smile and make her Mothers Day awesome. I will never order from this company again! They charge WAY TOO MUCH FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PRODUCT IS CRAP WHEN IT IS DELIVERED TO YOU!

These berries come from the farm in crates, with dirt and anything else that may have contaminated them (animal fecal matter, pesticides, etc...) and are dipped in chocolate without washing them.
Despite worries from the company for years about the negative health effects and consumer sentiment around not washing our strawberries before dipping them in chocolate, nothing has been done to resolve this issue.
The company ships millions of these strawberries per year, especially now during the upcoming Christmas holiday, Valentines Day holiday and Mother's Day holiday. The berries arrive directly from the farm, are sorted for size in machinery and directly sent to be dipped in chocolate (actually it's not even real chocolate, but a chocolate like substance). There is actual dirty and grime accumulation all over the berry sorting equipment because of how dirty the berries are.
The executives at the company recognized this as a potential issue and year after year give it lip service. However, putting in a real system to properly clean the berries or somehow track shipments to a certain lot of berries from a farm would cost money. Currently if a group of customers across the country contracted a food bourne infection from the berries, the company would have no way to resolve the issue or track where the berries originated from.
Don't send your loved ones these berries for the sake of health.

I ordered an assortment of strawberries on 21dec18. Had it scheduled for delivery on the 31dec18 for my Anniversary on the 1st. So my order didn't even ship till the 27th and went ground from UPS. Have been watching tracking at it has been sitting in UPS warehouse since the 28th. It is now the 1st and says it will no be delivered till the 3rd. I Bet my Strawberries are going to be so delicious ( NOT). I will never order from them again. They sent me a coupon for 30% off as well after I called and they refund money back.
I ordered Flowers from somewhere else and they arrived a day earlier than expected.
I just want you to keep in mind I live in Las Vegas, NV order says shipped from San Diego area.

DON'T EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. I placed an order Feb. 6 for a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries. I paid extra for it to be delivered Valentines Day, Feb. 14, today. $40 for 6 strawberries, AND THEY AREN'T GOING TO BE DELIVERED UNTIL MONDAY! They ruined the day for me, now I have to rush out and find somewhere that still has stuff left. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. They will create more headaches than anything else.

I bought a groupon for Shari's Berries and placed an order. It required me to put in my credit card, but then charged my credit card for the entire order, instead of using my groupon. Upon contacting customer service they said I could only use 1 promotional offer at once and figured that what I paid was the better offer. I called them to inquire more about this, and inquired how groupon is a promotional offer since it's a form of payment. I used a free shipping code since their shipping is soooo expensive. The guy could barely speak English, and I had a hard time understanding him, and he had a hard time understanding me. That conversation got nothing resolved. I emailed them from my first email, and said that if they removed my free shipping code and used my groupon and charged me the rest, it would be significantly cheaper. I got back the same genetic email from the first time. I emailed them again explaining the situation once again. In short, I have now spent way more money than I intended to. It's not worth it. Their customer service is terrible, and their prices are ridiculous. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I ordered on Feb 12th for delivery on Valentine's Day. When checking out I was charged for delivery and then was charged a separate amount for Guaranteed Feb 14th delivery. The package was delivered on Feb 15th. Not even an attempt was made on the 14th. I wrote to the company and their response was, "We're sorry, we promise to do better next time". NEXT TIME? Why on earth would there be a next time. They didn't even offer to refund me the EXTRA fee for the "guaranteed" delivery. Beyond poor customer service. First time customer lost for good. SMH

I ordered smile berries for a coworker on August 5 at 9:50 in the morning, and received a confirmation email immediately stating that the berries would be delivered by 8 pm. When I called the number to check at 6 pm it still said delivery by 8 pm.
At 9 pm I called and spoke with an unhelpful woman who apologized and offered me a 20$ coupon and the berries to be delivered first thing on the 6th. Then she proceeded with a hard sell on many of their other items lol. I declined and felt confident my friend would get the surprise I promised her the next morning.
At 5 pm on the 6th I called again wondering where my deliver was. I've now lost 1 hour of my life for this.
I was told that I could have a refund, and when I pressed her as to what happened, I was told that when you order after 1 pm they can't guarantee same day, I told her I was looking at my receipt from 950 in the morning, she then said there were no local places near me that could deliver it, and I should have gotten a notice. I did not get any notice. Why didn't the woman the night before tell me that? I was told that she never even put an order in to do it the next day. I told her that she should probably bring this up with her supervisor, and that I would never feel confident ordering their products again.

I ordered fancy berries for my mother two years ago. Since she lives in a different state, I asked her what they looked like to make sure she received what I had ordered. As it turns out, she received just the plain chocolate berries and not the fancy ones I had ordered. After contacting Shari's Berries about the problem, they did deliver the correct berries and took back the wrong order, but I would have never known that the wrong (less expensive) berries were delivered in the first place if I had not asked my mom about them. So after giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ordered from them again last year. This time the order was correct, but the berries were very small and not at all like what they are advertised as. I will never order from them again. By the way, if you order by phone, they do not understand English very well and you have to spell almost every single word for them. You will be on the phone a good half hour to just place a simple order and the shipping fee is very high.

I order some fruit from Shari Berries for my fiancé. When I received it they delivered it at 9am it sat outside in 80 degree weather. When I came home from work, ants was all over my bag, fruit was spoiled and molded. I called ask for a refund. They said they will re deliver the next day for free. Also they said they will call me when they deliver. Next day came it nevered got delivered in which they said they delivered it. First of all when u order from Shari Berries it comes in the mail with a ice pack to keep the fruit fresh. Im sticking to edible arrangements at least your fruit is fresh. Im going to show you the fruit that i received. The chocolate looked like they made a hollow chocolate cast and stuck the strawberries in it not professional at all. There 3rd party customer service could not tell a good lie. Not when your job is customer service.

This review isn't about the berries themselves but about how this company price gouges customers based on the coupon they apply to their order. I tested this by using a regular browser and an incognito browser. I thought that I would save money by purchasing a $15 voucher for $30 Groupon gift code for the berries but indeed I did NOT. I first tested it by only adding a dz strawberries to see the price and shipping. The shipping was $12.99 plus $4.99 for "Hot Weather delivery". Which by the way, its winter where I live and I have never heard of this fee before when my fiance has used this company. $18 for shipping is outrageous! So then I tried incognito browser with my groupon and the shipping changed to $14.99 plus $4.99 hot weather shipping fee. So no matter which was you try to save they will adjust the shipping fee's to compensate. I called SB customer service and they offered me a $4 discount and couldn't explain why their site adjusts prices. I will never order from this company again and I will make sure my friends know about this. $40 for 12 strawberries is what I just paid. Never again.

Over the years, I have received Sherries berries chocolate covered strawberries as gifts and have ordered them for my household for the holidays and they used to be delicious, but not anymore. I had noticed the quality go downhill and haven't ordered them in a couple of years but tried again this year and this year was the worst! They were a big disappointment especially when we were all looking forward to them at the holidays. The family ended up picking the chocolate off some of the strawberries and we threw the rest away.
They arrived on time but only because I ordered them early in the month of Dec, but the box was wet, the ice pack was melted and the gel inside it was leaking out of holes. The chocolate coating was sweating and melting and was cracked but the worst part was the size, quality and taste of the strawberries. They were rotten, mushy and had a very strong chemical or fermented taste to them. Awful! We called and they wanted to send out a replacement but I refused and took the credit. We will not be ordering from there again.

If I could give ZERO stars- I would. My boyfriend ordered strawberries and paid extra for them to be specifically on Valentine's Day- they came on Wednesday with no ice pack, half covered with chocolate, some melted, not a lot of sprinkles on them, extremely wet, and others flipped. I called up immediately and the representative was nice and had another box sent. When I called my boyfriend to thank him for the delivery, he was so pissed they were delivered before Valentine's Day since he paid extra. He then called and at that point he was told he would be refunded that fee. On Friday we have another box delivered and they were worse then the dozen sent on Wednesday- again no ice pack, almost all were flipped and melted, the strawberries were so old and rotten 10 went in the garbage. I called up again to express my concern and the woman again was extremely nice and sent out BOX number 3 which was received today- the presentation was wonderful and there was an ice pack inside but the strawberries are all rotten. I am now on the phone and there is no note on the account for a refund. Awful experience and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Ordered berries and cheesecake four days in advance of Valentine's Day, to be delivered to hubby's hotel room in Disneyworld. At 5:45 pm on Valentine's Day, I received an email -- not even a phone call -- informing me that the delivery would not happen. It was, of course, too late for me to scramble and find some other gift for my husband. The same email informed me that they would deliver the next day. However, the point was Valentine's Day, not the day after, and also my husband was checking out first thing in the morning. They offered me a $10 refund... I emailed back telling them that my husband would not be at the hotel the next day, and demanding a full refund plus sending fresh berries and cheesecake, not the berries and cheesecake that at this point had been in transit for several days, to our home address. They still delivered to the hotel, the next day, long after hubby had checked out. And, I have not heard anything further from the company and certainly have not received anything from them.

Order for valentines day not received so I contacted customer service and was given a new order to be delivered 2 days later. I reluctantly agreed since this was a gift for my granddaughter. That second delivery also did not arrive even after several calls to customer service. I was not able to track the new number as it was not listed. Customer service lied to me so many times. I finally got an email at 630 pm that it had been delivered but it had not. Customer service said that it was actually out for delivery and to call back after 8 pm. No delivery as of 8pm. Called customer service and asked for a supervisor. More lies as they said one would call me back that night. Nope. Called next day and again asked for supervisor call was repeatedly disconnected during so called transfer. Asked for refund. Was offered partial refund, I said no and I wanted to talk to supervisor. Was told one would call me within 90 minutes. Never happened. Finally was told I would get full refund. We will see. I made 12 phone calls in 2 days to this company trying to find out why neither of my orders were delivered. Worst customer service I have Ever experienced. Do not use unless you don't care whether your item is delivered or not.

Terrible Customer Service. Sent email confirmation with a totally different product than what I ordered. Then told me that the order could not be changed. To then say that they would give me a refund to only credit me back $20 in a future purchase then did not deliver my order. ORDER FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY!
