I placed my "Get Well" Order via Internet on 6/24/16 for delivery on 6/30/16 to an address where my friend has lived for many years. When I tried to submit my order, I received an error notice that stated the address could not be confirmed as a good address. Then I called my friend's mother to confirm I had the correct address which, of course, I did. Still Shari's Berries would not accept that address. So I placed a phone call to Customer Service explaining my problem. He placed my order and gave me an additional 5% discount for my inconvenience. I assumed, incorrectly, that he would double check my internet order to ascertain whether or not it had been received. I also mentioned to him that I felt perhaps the extreme shipping costs were due to the beautiful, white pedestal dish the berries were arranged on in the ad. He said no, the berries were sent in a box and individually wrapped in paper. OK, I accepted that, reluctantly, feeling it was false advertising. After our conversation, I thought I should check my e-mails. Much to my shock, there were two orders shown with different order numbers. I knew then that I would be charged twice on my credit card for one order. I called them back, and much to my surprise, the Customer Service person I spoke with made it extremely difficult to cancel the first order, which they had advised me was not a good address and could not ship to it. After reading all of the negative reviews, am waiting to see if my friend's gift is #1, received on 6/30; #2, in good, edible condition; and #3. Whether or not I will be charged for two orders. After reading all the negative reviews, my common sense tells me to call Shari's Berries and cancel the order, but being the eternal optimist that I am, thought I would wait until 6/30 to see if my order arrives in a timely manner and in good condition. If it does not, I will be calling my credit card company and having a refund put on my account via a dispute. Thank you all for taking the time to write your reviews. It has been interesting and more than just a little frightening that a company like this is still in buiness. Also, I was told the berries came from California.

I ordered the nothers day dozen berries for mothers day. They were two days late and moldy. Don't buy!

Ordered one dozen for my mom and one dozen for my girlfriends mom. Price after 15% discount $66 price after shipping $107. For 24 strawberries! I won't lie I'm an idiot for even finishing the order, but then I opened one package and the "ice pack" was broken and a bunch of gel was all over the box saturating it all the way through. 4 of the 12 berries in that pack the chocolate was crumbled around it. When you spend $107 on strawberries you assume they are going to be the best tasting most beautiful strawberries you have ever seen and tasted in your life... not even close! Even the ones that were not damged tasted like S*!+ MS. Sherri fool me once shame on you... NEVER EVER AGAIN IN THE AMOUNT OF TIME I HAVE ON THIS EARTH WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS. This company is garbage, a scam really. Taking advantage of sons and daughters trying to buy something special for their mothers on mothers day. Over promising and under delivering. PITIFUL! Usually when I have bad experiences with places I don't take the time to review products because it never really is THAT bad, but this was catastrophic... $107 for absolute $#*! (excuse my french) f#&$ing strawberries

Seems I'm not the only one having issues with "hidden costs". I placed the order on a Tuesday. My mother was at my house so I was trying to be discrete. I placed the order and quickly put my phone away. I didn't think too much about it until Wednesday when I check back on my status. I'd set the delivery date to Thursday to cut back on costs, figuring I could keep them in the fridge and present them to her Sunday. To my shock, the cost had jumped from my original $24.99 to $39.99 (29.99 for the berries, 14.99 for Standard delivery and 4.99 for Rush delivery but a $10 discount).

Instantly I grab the phone, call them up and demand a refund or cancellation. I was told the $4.99 was Standard Shipping but couldn't understand what the rep said the $14.99 was for. Regardless, this is NOT what I selected on the website nor saw before placing the order. Even right now (Wednesday) I could order and have them delivered on Sunday for the same price as they are attempting to charge me now!

First, offered to refund the 4.99 "Standard delivery" (which again, showed up as "Rush delivery" on my receipt). I told them this was not enough and demanded a full refund. After about a minute of silence (which actually happened after almost every exchange) I chimed in and said if they couldn't help me, please forward me to someone who could. A bit more time passed before came back on and approved refunding the $14.99 charge. I did agree to this...

If these are amazing, I may consider updating this review. Honestly this is partly my fault because I should have checked my receipt right away. Perhaps something towards the end of the site showed the larger amount. But even still, how on earth does one get charged the same for Sunday delivery as I do for Thursday delivery?

Disgusting and completely rotten berries, save your money and go elsewhere, they were sour and soggy and I immediately threw them in the trash what a WASTE.

I am very disappointed with this company because they are not honest andtransparent in their dealings. The first time I shopped withn them I fell for their scam where they offer you a rebate on your shipping charge. Do not fall for this scam because what you are actually doing is signing up with a 3rd party marketer who will deduct $14.95 from your account each month. They did take money from my account for a few months. I immediately called the company directly and that was when I was informed I signed up with them for some BS coupon program when I shopped at Sherri's. So be careful.

For mother's day this year I did buy from them again and due to my previous experience I was very careful to triple check everything before clicking the submit button, I was wrong.

I checked my account and the had taken out more money than they should have. Upon checking the reciept for my order on their website I realized they had charged twice for shipping. This company may have some good products but interity is non existent. I did call them and the extra shipping charge they tried to steal was refunded.

Just think of it that if I had not checked this money would have been "free" money in their pockets. The question is how many times have they gotten away with this shady practice? Personally this is the last time I will shop with them and they can take all their stuff and shove it.

Despicable bunch of theives.

Spoke with two different customer service representatives and they were both awful. I had placed an order and noticed my confirmation email charged me $16.99, which was not listed in my cart prior to me placing my order. I called customer service immediately after to cancel my order, as I was frustrated the charge was not visible prior to me making my order. The lady I spoke with could barely understand English and told me she cancelled my order. After having to repeat myself over a dozen times. I was told I'd receive a confirmation email. Well, after 3 days of not receiving the email I called again. During this call I was met with yet another lady that could barely understand English. She told me the order was not cancelled, then 2 minutes later said it was. She advised she sent the cancellation email to me again, however when I asked what email she was sending it to, she was silent and would not answer. Each time I asked her to confirm my email she kept changing the subject and refused to answer. After repeating myself several times, she told me to just wait 30 minutes and then just call back. When asking for a supervisor I was met with the same response "call back in 30 minutes." I said I'd wait, which she again kept telling me sorry busy and was about to hang up on me. She kept telling me her supervisor was not available and to just call back. What kind of customer service cannot verify an email address in which they are emailing? I called several days before the order was to be sent, yet I have no faith in the fact she cancelled my order. Save your money and time and don't bother ordering from this place - just go with ediblearrangements or somewhere else that won't jerk you around.

Ordered something for my fiancé 3 days ago to be delivered today and paid EXTRA for morning delivery and by 3pm the order still had not arrived. I called and they apologized and sent me a new order that wont be here until tomorrow... AFTER VDAY! So now my fiancé gave me the best gifts and I had nothing to return. I ordered them so that I wouldnt have to go out and try to look for something, and now the day is more than halfway over and I have to go try and see whats left to give to her before the day is over. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! Ruined my Vday. Dont pay extra for morning delivery, its a waste of money! They wont get it there before Noon, or maybe not even that day smh.

If a location is out of the state, most places would reject the order.NOT SEND FLOWERS THROUGH FEDEX. What a romantic way to tell someone you love them than through a box from fedex

My daughter ordered chocolate dipped berries from Shari's Berries to have them delivered to my hotel room in Miami Beach, FL for Mother's Day. I kept checking with the hotel desk, and my daughter called Shari's several times to confirm address etc. She was told they would be delivered ON Mother's Day. They never arrived. Many phone calls later from my daughter to Shari's, and they said that they would have them delivered to my hotel by 10:30 am, Monday, May 14,2018, the day AFTER Mother's Day. Still NO delivery. I checked out of hotel Monday at noon, arrived back home in MA Monday evening, called hotel to see if they had arrived, and nothing. My daughter kept tracking the order and all it said was "processing". Tuesday, May 15, my daughter called Shari's again, explained the order never arrived, and that when tracking it, it only says processing. Long story short, she was told, it didn't make it there because she never gave a street address, which is total BS! Regardless of whether she did or not, if they didn't have a street as they said, first off why didn't they call her, and second, all they had to do was Google the hotel, as it was not a chain and was the only one of its kind in Miami Beach. After about 25 minutes on the phone, they reluctantly agreed to send the order to our home address. (they did refund her money), however, when they arrived today, 5/16, they were askew in the box, they looked like crap, some were cracked and they were all sweaty and warm, not to mention they were NOT the same ones she had originally ordered. They said they were sending this replacement as a "courtesy", but that they were making a detailed note in their computer that if she ordered from them again, they would not make any special considerations in the future. The berries were so bad when they arrived, we threw them out! If you are looking for a quality item and service, Shari's is NOT your place! Oh, and did I mention, they are all fermented!? Gross!
