My husband orders these for Valentine's Day didn't get the box until today and it arrived empty! What is going on at that company?!

Unbelievable how horrible their customer service is!
I just cancelled my order and went with edible arrangements instead.

I received these as a gift from my children. The strawberries were soggy and spoiled, but they did look very pretty.

Wow shipping outrageous and codes are a joke. From what I see they already have bad reviews. Good luck keeping repeat customers.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They don't speak English. I was hung up on 3 times. Stay away.

They say one discounted price then hide the shipping which is 50 percent more. Stay away and lousy strawberries anyways

Just like all the others my poor wife received wilted flowers and fermented strawberries. What a disappointment!

Guaranteed delivery on 2/14 which was not true, paid extra shipping for that and no one answers the phone. Complete rip off.

A young coworker recently lost his grandfather, and we decided to send him and his younger siblings a gift. After looking around, we chose Shari's Berries. It was all downhill from there.
Our 63 dollar order came to a total of $101.67 after "fees" were added. Almost $40 to deliver some strawberries and chocolates? Talk about steep!
Then, their website changed the delivery address between confirmation and payment without giving me an option to override their erroneous "correction". I immediately emailed to have the address changed back to what I had put in (which was the correct address in the first place, mind you), and was informed by James that there was a problem with my order and my card would not be charged. Funny, considering my card had already been charged for the order and I'd received the confirmation email.
When I replied to that email to advise them that, contrary to their claims, my bank had, indeed, already been charged, I received no response.
After waiting a full 24 hours for them to respond, I gave up and got on the phone with them to get the address fixed. I was then told that they could not correct their mistake without authorizing my card for the full amount a second time. I explained, again, that they had already charged my card the full amount, and was told that I HAD to authorize a second payment in order to get the address corrected, and that they would then send me a refund for the second charge in 7 to 10 business days.
No, absolutely not. The customer service agent I spoke with acted like I was an idiot for refusing to allow them to charge my card a second time.
I cancelled the order and took my business elsewhere. If you can't correct your mistake without charging the customer twice, you shouldn't change the address provided in the first place. I will never use Shari's Berries again.
Tip for consumers:
Check the delivery address carefully, as they do not confirm prior to changing it on you.

If I can give zero stars I would. I had been ordering from Shari's berries for quite some time now because my mother in law loves them. The last 2 times the delivery service was horrible with me getting emails that the gift was recieved when they weren't and it having it redelivered. But this past third time it was just worse. Alot worse. I ordered a gift of strawberries on 9/21/22 to arrive on 9/23. On 9/23 I received an email that stated "delivered" but I was told by the recipient that she did not receive it. Here we go again. I called customer service and they stated that they would resend the gift but I would have to wait until the following week. The next week still nothing and when I called customer service again I was told they would resend it... a third time within a few days. In the pictures attached the first one is that delivery which was garbage by the time it arrived. I was so embarrased with my family member and livid with this company. After an hour long wait on a phone call I was finally put through to an executive administrator, Danita, who was very nice and gave me a full refund. Because i had written a bad feedback summary I got a phone call from a Shari's rep who wanted to call my recipient and apologize but no one offered to send a "good" delivery for my family member. Also, this rep stated that she would recieve a delivery the next day but it probably wouldn't be in good condition. And she did. The second picture reflects that delivery. 2 boxes of garbage. Do not waste your time and money on this company. All you will get is frustration.

I placedFeb 5th with plenty of time so I knew they would be in stock. The morning of Valentine's day I told my husband he would be be getting a delivery today. No such luck we waited and waited but nothing. 630 rolled around and business this time I was a bit frustrated to say the least. I called the company the man on the phone stated that my delivery was still set to be delivered on the 14th latest being 9pm. Wasn't happy about this but at least he would still get his gift. 9:20 pm rolled around and still nothing. I called back and got a very rude lady, she stated that my order was reschedule for tomorrow because they were out of stock of the item I ordered. How is it that at 6pm my order is in a truck but suddenly they are out and they will miraculously have my order status the house tomorrow at 8 am. I reminded the lady that I placed my order Feb 5th I find it odd that you told me at 6 it was on its way and 2 that I ordered it in plenty of time so why would it be out of stock. The ladyear told me she could refund me the shipping fee for my trouble I got a full refund on my whole order. Around 9:50 my order showed up the chocolate was discolored and old and the candy was very hard. I'm glad I got my money back I will Never order from here again and I'll be leting everyone I know not to order from here as well.

My boss asked me to make an order for mothers day. He requested I order 3 packages 1 for his wife 1 for his mother in law and he said I could order something for myself. The only order that was right for the amount of money the flowers and chocolate covered strawberries should have come perfect but no I ended up having to rip off all the dead flower pettles and the strawberries that we pay 15.95 for shipping because of the special box and ice packs to keep them cold was a complete failure. They strawberries were melted and chunks of chocolate were falling off. That was the 1st package that was over $100 dollars. Now his wife package was suppose to be 2 dozed red roses and Chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered cheese cake bites. She ended up getting a poinsettia looking plant and that was over $150 dollars. My package was just the chocolate covered strawberries and they were melted and chunks of chocolate were falling off the strawberries. I cut on open and the inside was mushy and looked old. I called the customer service line and they offered to send new packages but not till the 15th. These were mothers day gifts how was getting them on the 15th going to help? I ended up throwing away $60 in chocolate covered strawberries they were awful. I would not recommend this company to any one not even to send to someone I dont like no less someone I do. It was a waste of money and time and they didn't even care that they screwed up mothers day gifts for 3 people and by the looks of theses reviews a lot more moms than that. My whole bill was $360 dollars and I should call 911 because I was robbed!

It was definitely a waste of time to order this year. Not only was the delivery date I selected ignored with no warning, I can't get a decent answer or resolution to this and am now expected to be happy with a delivery on Monday. Had anyone taken the time to send this order overnight, it would've arrived on time. Had someone told me overnight was not an option and my delivery date could not be met, I would've cancelled and found another option. Instead, I'm being told that the date I chose (which was an available date on their website and which I paid extra for) was actually a "flex date" and they did not/will not pay for Saturday delivery. So these berries shipped from CA last night, will sit in FedEx warehouses ALL WEEKEND, and are expected to deliver Monday and still be edible. I can't imagine they will be edible, let alone presentable after being on trucks and in warehouses for 5 days. The only thing I was offered was $20 towards a FUTURE ORDER.
So instead of continuing to fight for any kind of Saturday delivery, I need a refund for what will most definitely be an inedible gift delivered 3 days too late. And calling is no help either. I sat on hold for over an hour before I had to disconnect. I went ahead and put my phone number in their callback queue, but based on the lack of response I've gotten by email, I don't expect their phone etiquette to be any better For what came up to almost $70, I expected so much more than this kind of treatment.
I have tried calling, I have reached out by email, I have been asked to send my order details through Facebook messenger, and after all of this, there is still no resolution and no concern about the missed delivery date or the fact that perishable food items will be sitting around for 5 full days at least before delivery is even attempted. Not OK at all!

I ordered 2 shipments for Mother's Day. I had mine come the week before so I could see and taste what I was also sending my own mother. They arrived in the afternoon by UPS. The box was warm to the touch. When I opened it, the box was warm inside. The "ice pack" was warm melted water! The chocolate on the berries had melted into a gooey mess.
I called shari's customer service immediately. After explaining the condition of the berries, I was told "SHARIS COULD NOT GUARANTEE THE CONDITION OF THE BERRIES AFTER THEY LEFT THE PREMISES! Yep... after the berries leave their company and goes to the shipper, they can't guarantee anything. This was repeated a couple of times to me!
I will say the customer service rep did offer to replace or refund my shipment. I opted for the refund, since they can't GUARANTEE the condition of the berries once shipped! Why take a chance?
I did put them in refrigerator and last night, we cut into them for a taste. The berry with white chocolate and pink sugar, had black fuzzy mold inside. Sickening. The rest of the berries went into the garbage.
No clue what condition the berries will be in that are going to my mom for Mother's Day. She is in Florida, so the berries may be warm, moldy, chocolate strawberry soup and I'll be incredibly embarrassed to have sent these for Mothers Day!
For a company that can't GUARANTEE their PRICY PRODUCT, I THINK THEY SHOULD PACK WITH MORE ICE OR DRY ICE OR make sure their shipper has refrigerators to insure quality that Sharis is unable to Guarantee.
Will not recommend nor will I ever order from them again! Delivered to me 5-05-17

Might update this later if I do get my order still and they turn out to be good. So, I ordered something for my sister for Mothers Day. She's been dealing with a lot and I wanted to cheer her up a bit. When I checked out my order was not even over $40. A bit later I get an email saying that I was charged almost $70! Needless to say I wouldn't of ordered if I knew they were going to be that much. I would of taken my chances making my own. I called the customer service # and got someone fairly quickly. He was hard to hear and didn't seem to be 100% when it came to speaking english. I've had to deal with worse so I was willing to try. I explained what happened he didn't seem surprised. Reading the reviews here I now know why. At first he told me that there was nothing they could do seeing as they were already shipped. I had just placed my order an hour ago at most and I made sure he knew that as well. I then asked him how my order went from not even $40 to $70. He gave me no answer and put me on hold several times saying he needed more info to verify my order. I verified my info and waited on hold again. When he came back on he again said there was nothing they could do for me. Not about to take that as a final answer I told him one of two things were going to happen. He would either cancel the order like I asked or get a manager on the phone right now. I was put on hold again. At this point I was ready and waiting to get in touch with Paypal and the bbb if he came back with the same bs answer. When he finally came back on I was amazed. He said that I would be getting a full refund and the berries would still be shipping out. At that point I thanked him for his "effort" and end our call politely as possible. I did get an email stating I would get a full refund so we will see if the berries and money show up. Ttfn

I placed an order with Shari's Berries as a gift to be sent to my physical therapy group weeks in advance because I wanted delivery on a particular day. I made sure the street address was correct when placing the order online. I received an email indicating that the order was being prepared, another when it was shipped and FedEx notification when it was delivered. But the delivery confirmation showed no signature or name, no indication where it was left, just the time. The signature showed "Signature on File". What does that prove to me?... Nothing, absolutely nothing. It could have been left on the truck for all I know. So I called customer service, which by the way, should be called customer disservice. I spoke to someone that I could barely understand and had to ask her to repeat what she was saying. I explained that I wanted to be sure it was delivered correctly to the recipents I wanted. The person on the phone repeated all the information that I already knew from the FedEx confirmation. I again explained this was not acceptable to me and I wanted to know who signed for the package. The representative told me she would contact FedEx and call me back in 1 hour. Of course, I did not get a phone call back. I called the next day and was read the notes made by the previous rep indicating that I had demanded a call back in 1 hour... total lie. She went on to say this is their "policy" not to get a signature on delivery. Seriously, is that the most ridiculous policy?! My gift was addressed to a business that opens at 7am and closes at 8 pm and is always staffed. I was then passed on to a supervisor, I think, who was of no help and offered no solution. I will dispute this charge with the credit card company until they can prove it was delivered correctly.
