My husband placed an order for berries for me and paid extra to have it deliver on 2. 13. 21 to the place we were staying for the weekend. They never arrived and we've left that location to go back home. I contacted customer service and got disconnected three or four times. Had to keep calling back to try to get refund. The last couple people i spoke with said i can only get a partial refund and so i asked to talk to a supervisor and was told they would have to call me back. I have yet to receive a phone call back. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend ordering through them.

The reason I gave one star is because someone actually answered the phone. This was the most unpleasant experience EVER! I ordered 2 items online shipping to 1 person/address. When I checked out, there were 2 shipping charges for $14.99 in my cart. I thought it must be a mistake so I immediately called customer service to make the adjustment and they said "no" that was their policy. I asked them to tell me where on the website that it's indicated, and they said "it was not clearly stated." I asked again to remove the duplicate charge and they said no. I then asked to cancel my order and they said it was already "in process". I was left with no other option than to dispute the charge with my credit card company who took care of it right away. Shari's Berries customer service department left me no other option than to write this review. Sorry Shari, your berries are rotten!

I received a box of bad chocolate dipped strawberries (mushy, bad berries that had clearly turned). My replacement box was even worse, if you can believe it. The berries looked inedible, the chocolate had separated from the berries, and the presentation was an absolute mess. I had also been notified that they'd arrived and brought them into the house within 5-10 minutes.

First off, they charge $14.99 for standard shipping. If you want them next day, it's another $4.99. And if you want them by noon, supposedly, it's ANOTHER $14.99. This is false advertisement in the pricing I'd you ask me. When my sister opened her "dozen" berries, there were 7!* Not what I paid for! First, and last time I will deal with them. $50 for 7 strawberries? CRAZY

I have ordered once prior from this company and the quality was good. However, They did not deliver on the saturday prior to Mothers Day and when I called the next day, there was no explanation. UPS tracking showed it never arrived at the UPS warehouse. Even if you pay extra, they are not reliable. Like other buyers with similar problems, they offered a coupon and to refund the EXTRA shipping charge (not the regular shipping charge of 16.99). I passed and I will not use this company again due to reliability

Shari's big California strawberries used to be dipped to perfection. Shari is now just a sold Name - to 1800flowers who lets local providers try their hand at berry making. Tiny, not too ripe berries are dipped messily. There is NO way these were made in a professional facility. ++++++++++++++
Likely some local florists kid made them. Not trusting these to eat, They are all in a small extra fridge. Offered to drop off if they would tell me who made them.

I ordered a dozen of the gourmet strawberries to be delivered on Valentines Day. Failed to deliver them until the 15th. When questioning Customer Support they stated the delay was due to an influx of orders. In other words they knew my order would not be delivered as promised due to the volume of orders they were taking. They never stopped taking orders but still assured purchasers they would be delivered on Valentines Day. It was almost impossible to speak with the customer support person because of partying in the background. They were not taking calls. They were laughing, shouting and even at one point screaming about getting pudding. I had to ask the customer support person and the supervisor to ask the other "workers" to please shut up so we could finish our phone conversation. Will never order from or recommend this company to anyone.

I placed an order from here to surprise my wife for Valentines day. I paid the extra to have an early delivery as she is not in her office after lunch. Track my order the day of delivery and it left KY at 0630 to bad I live FLA. Call customer service and get we will refund your early delivery fee, but there is nothing else we can do for you. So now to save face with the wife I will have to scramble to go and get something else for her.

I wanted to order an anniversary gift for my girlfriend, and the podcast I listen to always advertised Shari's Berries with a code for a discount. I decided to give it a try. The code actually doesn't do anything. It simply routes you to a package that is always available for purchase regardless of whether you have a code or not. So, don't think you are saving any money.
But either way, the "savings code" is moot once you get to the shipping portion of your order. Nearly $20 for six berries. Really?! And if I wanted it within a week I'd have to add another $5. I can go to the supermarket and buy ingredients to make my own chocolate strawberries for a fraction of the cost.
Finally, the when the berries arrived, we were excited to eat them. Our review of the actual berries? Meh. They tasted good, but there's no way they are amazing, and they did NOT leave us wanting to buy more.
Horribly overpriced, overrated company.

My fiancé got me some chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day. When they arrived, a few of the strawberries were cracked and one of them had no chocolate at all. The quality of the fruit is terrible, they're sour and half frozen. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.

The first time I ordered, the payment process was incredibly delayed and that caused issues, I decided to order again because my mom loves them, but thankfully I had them sent to me first because they arrived warm with no icepacks, the package was literally dropped at my door, even the internal box is bowed out and crushed, the berries look ruined but hopefully i can make them look decent. They charge $15 for standard delivery and this is seriously how they arrive? Never again.

My husband surprised me with a dozen strawberries and when I received them more than half were broken. There was chocolate all over the inside of the box and some were upside down and it was just a mess. Called and talked to a customer service rep and she kept putting me on hold and talked in circles. She said she couldn't send me a new order that the best she could do was reimburse my husband for half of what he paid. Completely disappointed with this company and their customer service!

I would have made other arrangements for my daughter's birthday! I am completely disappointed!

I am very disappointed. I was tricked into some passport membership and when I noticed it was charged they would not refund me the full amount so $20 down the drain. I am not sure if they changed their delivery service or something but I used to really enjoy this place. We ordered so many times but this time was bad and the website is all cluttered now. Never again!

Do not order from this company. Ordered on 5/3 a dozen strawberries for Mother's Day, paid extra to have them delivered either 5/9 or 5/10. Was over charged on my order, did get that money back. Delivery attempt was made but when I called to find out when delivery would be remade was on hold for over an hour several times and finally got a call back on Monday 5/11. Told the tea hip ent could be set to arrive 5/19 and that the redelivery fee would be waived. Then receive a tracking number that the order will arrive 5/14. Only to find out the delivery is back to 5/19.
Delivery finally arrived to be inedible. And their answer is we will send out new ones, no requested full refund.

Ordered a dozen strawberries for a friend who was accepted to law school, picked the delivery date in advance, paid the $17 shipping for that date.
Was notified on that date the there was an error and it had not shipped. It arrived two days late, a little melted, but (I'm told) still very tasty.
I was emailed that they were refunding the delivery charge in full. When I looked a week later I was missing the refund, so I reached out.
They could not have been more sorry and helpful. I had chosen them since I was able to get a groupon that covered most of the cost (except the shipping). They were so upset that the refund did not go through that they also issued me a new group on voucher for $30, plus the refund.
They will get your order right, or they will go above and beyond to correct it.
The original price is a bit high, but the quality behind it, totally worth it.
10/10 would recommend and reorder

Ordered cheesecake and strawberries to be delivered by 12 noon on 02-12-2016. Paid extra for this guaranteed delivery date and time. After waiting 2 hours, called company and waited 25 minutes to speak to rep., was put on hold to "check into my order." When rep. Returned the connection was so bad I could not hear. Called back and was told order had not shipped. My mistake, I thought this company had stores and would send my order to the nearest to me. Wrong. Everything is made and shipped from California. I will never use them again.

I'm so upset. I ordered my mother-in-law a dozen of these Shari's Berries as a thank you gift. I told her in person that she would be receiving them the next day. Well they never came. I called customer service and they could not explain to me what happened. They gave me another number to call. I called that number and basically the same thing was told to me. They could not explain to me what had happened. They said that I got a refund; which I did check and I was given a refund on my end. However that does not change the fact that she never got her gift that I told her she would be receiving. They did not offer to make anything right. I will never use this company again. Huge disappointment.

I have purchased from you several times and never a problem. I order some for my husband and they are awful. Ice pack melted and chocolate on berries was starting to melt. I would like my money back. $40.00 is just to much to take a chance on getting sick when you should of kept them cold.

I bought you know for valentine's day. I placed an order a week in advanced. Well the package never left the facility. After I paid $14.99 for shipping, then $14.99 that day delivery also 9.99 for morning shipping. I called their customer service line which was like talking on a walkie. So, after trying to speak to the lady she told me I will receive a full refund. 40$ just in shipping. So a week goes by and I received 10$. Now I'm irritated. So I send an email. 2 days later they tell me oh we're sorry he's $20... now I'm pissed and I'm still waiting on the last $10. What a ridiculous company to just get a refund..
