Strawberries extra small… never see something like this before.Imv66 years old and I never expirience something like this

I ordered 12 assorted chocolate covered strawberries for my wife for Valentine day
This was her response when she saw the package was from Sheri's Berries.
With a big smile on her face she said "Oh how sweet, you got me something from Sheri's Berries. I hope it is chocolate covered strawberries, I love those."
This is what they looked like when she first opened the box.
1. They were medium to small in size.
2. They were fully covered with chocolate without leaves showing which I thought was strange since they didn't look that way online, and I found out why.
This is what they were like when she started to eat them.
1. The strawberries were small with a thick coating of chocolate on them to make them look bigger than they really were.
2. The strawberries were soft, tasted and smelled like they had been frozen for a month and then covered with chocolate while frozen.
3. Most of the strawberry juice had accumulated between the chocolate and the strawberries so when she took the first bite all the juice came running out all over the places. They were not in any shape or form "fresh".
This is what happened after that.
She looked at me and said without smiling "Thank you for being so thoughtful, you are so sweet." It then looked like she choked down the rest of the first one. Then she said "I'm going to put the rest in the fridge for later."
Well, later never came. I ate one the next day to see what they were like and yuk it sucked. I never saw her eat another one and after a few days the box was gone out of the fridge never to be seen again.
I have never been so embarrassed. I could have bought bigger, fresher strawberries from my local grocery store. Buying these strawberries from berries.com/Sheri's Berries was the worst mistake I have ever made when buying a present for my wife. I will never buy from them again and have told all my friends at work what happened. I also gave feedback to the Hannity website because I bought these based on their sales pitch.
Now I understand why berries.com doesn't have a consumer reviews section on their site. There wouldn't be any good reviews.

I ordered a gift of strawberries and cookies for a family member. Original price was $39.98. Advertised price was discounted 25% to $29.98. On the screen was a red and white box with an arrow. When I clicked on it, the box expanded with the message "Order now for an extra 25% off orders over $29. Discount automatically applied." (I have the screen shot). The extra 25% off never showed up at checkout. I was told they could only apply one discount per order and that 25% had already been applied. I said the word extra indicates an additional discount. Why would this box be on an ad that was already discounted?
I called customer "service" and had a very difficult time communicating with the agent. I asked to speak with a supervisor and first was told she was busy with several other customers. I was told to call back. I had already been on the phone for a while and said I wasn't going to call back to only go through this all over again. Then I was told that the supervisor wasn't there. I told her she was giving me conflicting information and finally got a supervisor.
The supervisor told me only one discount can apply. When I told her about the EXTRA 25% she told me she was unable to do it with her system, but another department would be able to do it. They would be in contact with me 24-48 hours later to apply the additional discount.
I have now received three emails from ProvideCommerce Customer Care and not one of these emails addresses the on screen offer of an extra 25% discount, and just restates I already had a 25% discount. They invite me to speak with them, but give no phone number. I've asked for contact information but none has been given.
The additional discount is only $7.50. It is not the money that is the issue but rather the false advertising and their unwillingness to address the situation.

I live in GA and my mother lives in FL. I rarely get to see her. She rarely gets to see her grandkids. After seeing the Sari's Berries commercials on TV, I figured this would be a great way to say Happy Mothers Day from her grandchildren. Maybe I should have read all of the bad reviews before I placed 2 orders. I was told it would arrive on Thursday or Friday. When I called their customer service after 6pm, they told me they didnt recognize the address. BUT not once did anyone from Shari's Berries call me to verify the address. Apparently they just didnt care. Then they said "We attempted to deliver at 2:06pm, but no one was there by that name." Again, no one ever called me or my mother (listed as a person to call in the event of a problem). They just didnt deliver. Let me inform you that this is a place of business. A clinic. A pediatric clinic. Me, as her son, knows everyone in her office and every one in her office know me and knew I was surprising her. So IF they attempted to deliver, there are tons of people in the office that know her and me and know that I was sending her something. Shari's Berries had me on hold for 43 minutes of the one hour long call. All they could say was "We're sorry, we wish there was something we can do." Even after I voiced my anger about how I rarely see my mother and this was the perfect way from me and my children to say "Happy Mothers Day", all they offered me was a refund. Then to add insult to injury, they say "we can attempt to redeliver on next Wednesday (3 days after Mothers Day). This was a huge was of excitement, money and time. I am officially never doing business with Shari's Berries again. The last thing I will say is "Hey Shari's Berries... thanks for ruining a very special day for my mother from her grandchildren."

I placed my Mother's Day order at least a week ahead of time and requested the delivery for the Thursday before Mother's Day. Not only was the delivery not made Thursday, it was not made Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The company did not notify me there was a delay or problem with my order. To date there is no indication there was a problem with the order; it just wasn't delivered. I was unaware that the delivery had not taken place until I called my Mother on Mother's Day around 5 pm. After several emails to Shari 's (AKA: ProFlowers), I was basically told I was right - there was no delivery, but Shari's would send another order to be delivered at some unknown time. However, the "good news" was they would not charge me for a "2nd delivery." No refund or discount offered for the first order, that never took place. By Tuesday (6 days after the original order), no delivery was made. I requested a full refund and told the company to forget the 2nd delivery. I'm shocked that a company that relies so heavily on delivery would be so nonchalant about missing the delivery. In case the company sees this and wonders what I expected - this is what I expected: 1) to be delivered on time, 2) to be notified of a missed delivery, 3) if the delivery was totally missed and not attempted the following day, then I should have been offered a total refund (or at least a good discount) and the delivery should have been made as soon as possible.
Update: This order continued to go bad with the first order finally arriving a week and 1/2 later - covered in water (melted ice). It went directly to the trash can. However, the company did refund my money and they went ahead and sent 2 more orders, which both arrived in great condition.

I had 2 orders for Mothers Day. I wanted 3 orders but to send some to my aunt who lives 1/4 mile away would have been 75.00 after all the shipping charges so I got her something locally. One of the 2 was for my mother-in-law and the other one for my mom. My mother-in-laws arrived on time with a 9.99 S&H and an additional 4.99 for a guaranteed delivery by the Friday before Mothers Day AND a 3.99 rural shipping fee. SERIOUSLY Rural? I let it go because they are about 3 whopping miles out town. My mother's gite however is what really torqued me off! I paid 9.99 for S&H 4.99 to guarantee delivery the Friday before, ALSO a fricken 3.99 for rural delivery and SHE LIVES IN TOWN! I paid it because I just wanted to get them ordered and not worry. Well Friday came and went, but late Saturday afternoon they finally showed up. They both loved the berries and cheesecake but the RURAL charge and then they didn't even get my moms there on time BS! Then trying to find a customer service email to send in, Ityped it out on three different occasions and they always came back "undeliverable" the *******@customerservice is a fricken joke! Then the other links send you to the "flower" business that is attached to Sherris Berries. You are ALWAYS redirected no customer service email works. But they certainly send almost daily their sales promotions pushing the good treats but crappy prices and service.

Friday I was in search of a last minute gift for my mother and grandmother for Mother's Day before they leave out of country later in the night on Mother's Day.
I was very surprised and very happy to find out that sherries berries was able to guarantee delivery on Mother's Day for an extra shipping fee. In this situation I would have paid just about anything due to the fact that if I didn't get whatever gift I got them there by Sunday, I wouldn't be able to give them anything because they are leaving Sunday night for 1 month.
I placed my order for 2 dozen gourmet berries and paid the extra shipping fee for Mother's Day delivery. Obviously because I found a great gift for the both of them, I didn't look any further for something else because I knew my gift would get to them on time before they left.
Well, it is now Mother's Day at 6:55 pm and they still have yet to receive their package so I called the customer service number and asked them what was going on and the operator stated that my package would not be delivered until tomorrow? She was kind and understood my frustration and disappointment and offered me a refund for the berries which I accepted.
The reason for this email is that I've heard many great things about sherries berries and that is why I trusted this company with this delivery but I have to say I am very disappointed with the outcome! Not only did I not have something for my mother and grandmother on Mother's Day but they won't get anything from me at all because they are leaving for a month hence the reason I spent the extra money on the guaranteed Mother's Day delivery. I appreciate that my money has been refunded for the purchase but I would much rather of had my mother and grandmother receive their Mother's Day gift! I wish I had the kind of experience with your company that I heard so much great things about!
Best Regards,
Robert Brown

Shari's Berries must've put out a huge ad campaign this Valentine's Day season as I heard about them everywhere. From the looks of it I'm glad it worked as I notice a lot of their boxes around today. I ordered my wife's gift a week ago and paid for "Guaranteed" Delivery with the added cost for a morning delivery as I know she's super busy in the afternoons. Funny enough my wife also got me a little something from Shari's Berries as I was surprised with a box this morning! However while the food is great, no complaints there, the company seemingly doesn't comprehend the definition of the word "Guarantee".
Shortly after receiving the gift from my wife I was prompted to look at my account as the morning was getting old and she hadn't sent me a message. When looking at my order online (no email for delivery or shipment processing) it showed as a February 15th delivery.
I called support and the agent stress multiple times that this was a carrier issue and not theirs. I'm sorry but if you charge people for a guarantee, a GUARANTEE, any issue that would break that guarantee whether internal or external is your issue. From the looks of it on this site the company just wasn't ready for the massive amount of orders.
I had initially thought the prices for shipping, time, and guarantee were steep (amounting to half the bill) but let it slide as it was one day and it would make my wife happy. For the amount Shari's Berries charge for shipping and a "guarantee" alone there shouldn't be any issues.
I understand this is probably their busiest time/day of the year, but someone at the top has to have the foresight to realise this an maybe not "Guarantee" so many orders. The sliver lining is they did refund my shipping costs, delivery time costs, and "guarantee" costs.
I will not be using their services in the future and it's a shame as the food is good. Great food doesn't out weight service however as I can always get just as great food from somewhere else with better service.
Tip for consumers:
Don't order for Valentine's Day.

I thought I would surprise my neighbor by ordering from this company which this my first time ordering from here, l'm not happy this is how it started I was charged on the 12th it was supposed to be delivered on the 12th I called one of the representative who said that he would change date because the date was on the 19th to the 14th well I noticed they charged me already on the 12th not only that a person called me to state that there was an error going on my credit card so I call they're trying to charge my card again I tried to explain to him they already took the money account they're trying to tell me it was just the authorization but the company had took the money out already, I talk to a supervisor who said they do not take the money out until they deliver the product I said they already took the money from the account leastest to say I didn't receive the product I cancel the order because they want me to update my credit card and one of the supervisors said they going to investigate about giving my money back if it was an error so this have been a big mess which I didn't look at the reviews until after I order now I understand why they're frustrated because I'm frustrated right now because no one know what's going on. Then I have to go to my bank to reverse the charges. I'm not impressed. I will give the an zero star.

I will NEVER order from them again. My mom ordered a dozen berries for my birthday and they supposedly "arrived" and was "left at my front door" (It wasn't) So I called FedEx to ask where my package was and they said that wasn't the address it was delivered to, as listed by the sender. They said I had to call the sender. So I call Shari's customer service and it took 37 minutes of me being put on hold constantly with a person who I could barely understand, having to repeat my address over and over again for them to tell me that I can't get them resent. I hung up. So I tried calling corporate, which was just the same customer service line with another person who I could barely understand. I asked to speak with corporate so I could file a complaint and she kept trying to tell me that her supervisor wasn't there. (It was the middle of the day, your supervisor is there.) So I told her I wanted to file a complaint so instead she tried to do the whole process of trying to resend it again, to tell me AGAIN that it won't work, which I tried to tell her in the first place. She kept putting me on hold for super long periods of time and then said "I can't disclose any information about this account". I asked why and she just kept repeating that and refused to answer and said I would receive a call back tomorrow. I told her I never wanted a call from them ever again and that I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. NEVER order from them because if you have a problem with you order, you won't get it fixed and the person you are trying to make happy with some berries is gonna be really disappointed on their birthday.

This is the email I sent them. It tells the whole story:(
I placed an order on 11/22 and paid the additional $9.99 for a Sat. 11/26 delivery. When I received the order confirmation it stated that my order would be delivered on Fri. 11/25. I immediately called Shari's Berries to have the problem corrected and was ASSURED that it would be delivered on Sat. On Sat., my Granddaughters 20th birthday, I spoke with her on the phone and asked how she liked the "Dipped Rice Crispy Treats", she said she hadn't received anything. I was furious, not only did you originally confirm the wrong date but I called to make the correction and it WASN'T delivered at all. I called Shari's Berries as soon as I hung up with my Granddaughter and the representative was "oh so sorry for the problem?". He also told me that the delivery date had been changed to 11/29. I asked "why wasn't I notified so I could order from another vendor so a gift could be delivered for her birthday"? He said, "we contacted you by email of the change", this was a COMPLETE LIE; I never received an email to that effect. If I had I would have cancelled the order. After discussing the matter with someone, he came back to the phone to tell me that he would credit me for the extra shipping and the package would be delivered on the 29th. Really? Does this business have a new owner? The products and services have always been lovely; oh my, how they have completely turned around. I read your latest reviews and noticed that most people have similar feelings. One and a half out of five stars - Shameful! My order is cancelled, I will not shop from you in the future, and would absolutely NEVER refer you organization to anyone. Shape up.

My wife loves Sherri's and I've ordered on Valentine every year for the last several years with no issues, outside of the outrageous shipping costs. This year I placed the order on 2/12/19 and was charged $14.99 for shipping, and additional $9.99 for GUARANTEED Valentine's Day delivery and an additional $14.99 for morning delivery. Morning delivery was a necessity as that is the only time I would be able to ensure they were received on Valentine's day. As of 2pm the berries hadn't arrived. I checked my tracking email and called automated support and it indicated my order had not even been shipped. I called customer support at least 10 times and every time you chose the option to get a live person the line was disconnected. I then emailed support and didn't get a response. Finally got through at 5pm today after having to spend the second half of my afternoon making up for the fact that this delivery obviously wasn't coming.
Long time customer lost here, it's one thing to mess up an order after many pleasant experiences, it's another thing to:
1) mess up an order on valentine's day after charging me $24 in guaranteed shipping fees so that my morning Valentine's Day delivery would be GUARANTEED, this after charging an additional 14.99 to ship the order in the first place.
2) have a totally unresponsive customer service department via email and phone
3) no give me any warning in advance that this order had not even been shipped after receiving payment to guarantee my order.
Update 2/15/19: Finally got through and got a refund. They sent the berries anyway and they arrived a day late. The quality of the berries was the worst that it's ever been, the berries weren't fully covered, it was clear they had been tossed around in the packaging and their was moisture throughout the inside of the box. Picture is attached.
