I made an order for a delivery before Mother's Day and got them a week after Mother's Day... Won't bring my business back, that's for sure.
Received a gift of Shari's Berries for Christmas. The strawberries were 1/2 the size of what they used to be with NO flavor. What a rip-off!
The price I was charged was more than what was advertised, almost $17.00 shipping that I never saw on the order page, and 3.00 tax. What a rip off!
Ordered last year and berries arrived late and berries were all crushed. I will not order ever again.
The grocery store has larger strawberries! Very disappointed! I paid $50 for a dozen strawberries. What a waste!

I've been ordering from Shari's Berries for 7 or 8 years. I usually spend a couple thousand dollars per year for various people i. E. wife, grandmother, kids mother etc. There have been issues in the past melted chocolate, broken flowers, broken vases, and for the most part Shari's Berries has tried to make things right.
However the way we were treated this time is completely unacceptable.
My grandmother is 91 years old and has recently moved to a nursing home that is located 3 hours away from where I live. I visit her every weekend, I found out in November of 2021 I would not be able to visit her the weekend of February 11th 2022, I ordered her some flowers and strawberries on November 23,2021, to apologize for not being able to visit her that weekend. The order was $393.89.
I received a call from Shari's berries on February 9,2022, letting me know they have canceled my order because they had a large number of orders come in. As a business owner myself I understand not being overwhelmed with orders, I understand not being able to get to every customer right away, I also understand having to turn customers away. What I don't understand is, I placed my order 3 months ago, why was my order was not first in line? Why they waited until two days before the order was to be delivered to inform me? And why they would treat a customer who has spend over $6000 with their company with such disregard? And why on earth would you treat a elderly woman with in the same manner?
The customer support individual I talked to was very professional, I understand it wasn't his fault or his decision to cancel the order, and he did his best to handle the situation. However the person making the decisions should have enough gumption to make the calls themselves.
I still don't have a full refund of the $393.89.

Mother's Day presents didn't arrive after being charged extra for Mother's Day delivery. Complete lose of trust
Bottom line - If your delivery is time sensitive - Stay away!
Paid extra for date specific delivery for my daughter's birthday. Delivery was supposed to reach a MIDTOWN MANHATTAN hotel, which means that they are ALWAYS open and available to receive.
Called to Shari's service the night before to make sure the delivery would be on time and was reassured that it would.
Called on the day of the delivery and was told that they "tried" to make a delivery and were unsuccessful. Really? How incompetent does a delivery service need to be to "try" and fail at delivering to a hotel?...
I was reassured by the service person on the phone that it would still be delivered that day, which is my daughter's birthday. I waited for 15 minutes on the phone until she finished calling the shop and verifying that they would still deliver that same day.
They did not deliver.
I called again at 6 PM to find out what is happening, and after waiting for another 10 minutes, she told me that although they promised they would deliver today, the shop decided it would be better to deliver the next day. The day AFTER my daughter's birthday. The day she is checking out of the hotel.
Having no choice, I waited for the mornng to call in and verify that the delivery ill be made. I asked that they deliver in the afternoon, as my daughter will be out all ay and the cake and berries need refrigeration. Once again I received apologies and a promise that this time they will get it right.
In the early afternoon my daughter calls me to tell me that she received a strange call from a delivery man asking for money for a late day delivery.
At this point I called Shari's service screaming that they are the most unprofessional delivery company I have ever worked with. They reassured me that they will take care of it.
After a few more phone calls, the delivery was made:
- A day late, after my daughter's birthday, the delivery was finally made,
- After 7 long phone calls and hours on the phone with their "service" (or lack there of)
Shari's ruined the surprise as they called and badgered the recipient for more money for the delivery (and later apologized for the "unfortunate mistake")
Never again.

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT A DOZEN ROSES AND A DOZEN WHITE CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES AND PAID $45 FOR GUARENTEED DELIVERY FOR VALENTINES DAY. TOTAL OF $186. WELL VALENTINES DAY GETS HERE AND THE ROSES WERE LITERALLY THREW AT THE END OF MY DRIVEWAY AT 7; 56PM I ALMOST RAN THEM OVER COMING HOME. AND NO STRAWBERRIES... I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY STATED THAT I WOULDNT GET THE STRAWBERRIES UNTIL THE 18TH AND THAT THAT IS THE DATE I CHOSE. I ARGUED WITH THIS LADY WHOM BARLEY SPOKE ENGLISH FOR OVER AN HOUR. SHE TRIED TO KEEP SAYING I WILL GIVE YOU 10% OFF 15% OFF AND 20% OFF AND I TOLD HER I WANTED MY MONEY BACK OVER AND OVER AGAIN. FINALLY SHE STATED SHE WOULD REFUND $58 TO MY CARD AND IT WOULD BE 3-5 DAYS. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS COMPANY IS A "SCAM" HOWEVER NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH THERE AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE ROSES WERE ALMOST DEAD WHEN I RECIEVED THEM AND I WILL NEVER DO BUISNESS WITH SHARIS BERRIES AGAIN. IT CAME UP 1800FLOWERS ON MY BANK STATEMENT..
I made an order a week in advance and had a guarentee for it to be delivered on a specific date, and they fell through. Thanks
(1) The roses were already wilted and bruised upon arrival
(2) The card was to someone else and not the words I wrote for my fiancé.
I've used them twice and both times my orders failed to ship as ordered. Customer service is awful. Never again!

Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
