I ordered all new kitchen appliances. Fridge came no problem. Range, microwave, and dishwasher and were delivered 2 weeks later. Though I paid for installation kits, install, and haul off for the old stuff, they just dropped the new appliances off and said we lied about having paid for this despite a receipt. 2 afternoons in a row now, trying to get things straightened out with them, and to reschedule the installation. It will likely be more than 2 weeks from now, but I am still waiting on them to reschedule. Call them worst buy. They are the worst. I will never do business with Best Buy again as long as I live.
Messed up both items in my order. One item was the incorrect item and the other was out of stock so needed to be refunded. When you have an issue you have to deal with the company selling on the Best buy website rather than best buy giving you the refund right away and than dealing with it on their end. Most online retailers would do the refund and than deal with the third party sellers on their end. Second time I've had issues. The other time the website glitches and duplicated my order for a printer I told them immediately (within 30min) and they said it was too late and had already shipped so I'd have to bring it in to a store for return.As someone who works in a warehouse I can tell you the chance of them having processed it that fast is extremely unlikely and even if they had they could have grabbed it of the skid of shipments waiting to be picked up by the courier.
I ordered a certified open box Asus laptop online from Best Buy yesterday, which was confirmed and money was deducted from my bank account. Yet, within 45 minutes, the item suddenly became unavailable and one of their agent make me change the pickup location assuring me that the order will not be cancelled. Yet, the order was cancelled in less than an hour and I was left without my product. Interestingly, the product was still showing as available in the store I originally ordered it from. Clearly, Best Buy attempts to make a fool of its customers. I would recommend not using Best Buy for any purchase, but instead rely on Amazon or Walmart, which are much more professional and reliable.
From start to finish terrible service. Sales associates know little or nothing of products. Service and shipping is a circus. Blame everyone from vendors, shippers and customers but take no responsibility for anything. Website and phone service is literally a scam, hours on hold and outsourced. Zero resolution to any issues with service people knowing less than sales staff and what's on the script they read from. Hours wasted and offered a $15 gift card after wasting two full days and loss of business! And you guessed it, no resolution and no responsibility on Best Buy's part. Terrible company and make credible vendors look bad.

Only reason I bought from them was because of the promised one day shipping. For some reason they shipped my product from California (paid extra for their "expedited shipping") using UPS ground. Literally the other side of the United States from where I live. Called them up to cancel the product, but they said they can't. 1 day shipping became two weeks. Not gonna buy from them again. Not the mention my phone number, CC, and address all got leaked the moment I placed my order. After minutes of my order I received some scam call asking my full CC number saying they are best buy, and surprisingly they know exactly what I ordered.
If you're going to take 3 hours to fulfill an in store pickup order, don't say it's guaranteed in an hour. Just say how long things will actually take, pretty simple, just don't lie to your customers.
Boy, if you don't watch them, they will get you. I had a customer service person (in store) tell me that I had a warranty on my printer (3rd replacement Cannon G7020!) and turns out she didn't know her a$$ from a hole in the ground. They got hundreds of dollars from me because of that. Then they lost an even bigger sale by cheating me. They have lost another customer. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me.
I call Best Buy before I drive an hour to get to one. I'm transferred to somebody that deals with portable speakers and they asked for my name and number. I tell them that's irrelevant to my question because I don't want unnecessary calls. She hangs up on me. I called back to speak to the store manager and have to choose an option to even get through the system. So I choose option one of people to talk to and hold for 7 minutes before I hang up. Not a store to go to if you need help or assistance. If you know what you want and don't need any assistance you're probably safe going there.

Bogus claim of "ready in one hour", so I order on line and pay for it. They supposed to let me know when I can come in and pick it up, but after several hours they send an email saying item is not available, but maybe next week. So much for "ready in one hour". Also their web site said only one available, hurry up and get it. But several hours after I supposedly ordered the last one, their web site stills says ready in one hour, but only one available, so hurry up.
I paid for a TV and soundbar. The installation company Best Buy hired to deliver and install called me to tell me they do not know how to mount the soundbar to the TV. They cancelled my delivery a week ago and rescheduled to last Saturday. I received a text message the night before telling me they will arrive at my house between 7am to 11am. I woke up at 7am on my weekend when I normally need to sleep in to respect their time. They called me late in the afternoon to tell me they forgot to pick up parts they need from the store and they are again cancelling my delivery. I ma so sick of their excuses and incompetencies. Buyers beware!
Worst. Customer. Service. EVER! Ordered a stove for $1650 and it was to be delivered. So, on the day of delivery I got a call from driver they will be at our house in 30 minutes within the time frame we were promised. They show up and remove my old stove and pull my brand new $1650 stove out of the giant delivery truck with a bunch of appliances packed in there and the front glass is shattered. Guarantee it was not loaded on their truck like that, that morning. The driver apologized and was very nice. Stated he was calling in immediately to let Best Buy know so they can replace the stove and stated someone would call me shortly to talk to me about it. Waited about 2 and a half hours and no call. So, I called the # listed on my order. Was on hold for 43 minutes to get through to someone. The guy was in a call center in some other country so you can imagine how much he cares whether I get a stove or not. I told him the delivery drivers were at my house that morning and they unloaded the new stove, and it was shattered and am wondering when another stove would be delivered. The call center guy then tells me that my stove is in transit and is scheduled to be there this morning. Mind you it is now 1:30 in the afternoon. So obviously he did not listen to one word I said about the stove being delivered and being shattered. He then tells me there is nothing they can do until 24 hours after the time the stove was supposed to be delivered due to it showing the stove is in transit to my house still. So, I then called the local store that I ordered it from, however the # listed online is not actually that store but another call center. I was told that the stores no longer accept phone calls and the only way to talk to anyone is to drive to the store and stop at their customer service counter. Are we not in the year 2023 and is not Best Buy a technology store that sells PHONES! Then the lady says sorry, but I am in the home theater department of the call center, and she needs to transfer me to the "appliance center". Are you kidding me! On hold for another 49 minutes and finally get sent back to a call center in SOUTH AMERICA! At this point after wasting over 2 hours on the phone I have no stove; I have no idea when it is coming, and I am being held hostage by Best Buy to get my stove due to them saying it takes 24 hours for their system to "update" just to reschedule another delivery date. Obviously, I do not want to buy phones or computers from Best Buy cuz their phones don't work in the stores and their computer software is as slow as the first computer made! So here I wait…. No stove and no idea when the next delivery may be. I was told that I would get an email within 24 hours to reschedule a delivery date, but I will not hold my breath at this point. Note to self…. Never order from Best Buy again!

Not recommending to friends and family members
In the last 2 years I have ordered a refrigerator and a dishwasher from them. It took MONTHS to get then installed properly after being delayed months on the first place. One department wasn't communicating with other departments it was an absolute mess. The only way I got it all resolved was filing a BBB claim against them and then someone from executive offices started arranging and handling things. We'll ok buying appliances and installing them that's all a big deal but best buy can't even get the smallest simple things right. Beware pre ordering anything from them. Especially if it's a limited item. They accept more pre orders than they a tally have stock. So by the time they tell you your getting a refund you the item will be sold put e erywhere else and you'll be out of luck. This has happened twice with them. The total tech things is just a scam and their customer service us absolutely horrible.
TLDR/Order delayed for months no customer service. No wonder they are closing.
I purchased a microwave oven February 11th. I bought the totatltech because it was the same cost as the other store additional fee to deliver, install, and take away the old unit. Install has now been rescheduled 6 times. After 2nd reschedule in February I called as was given a supposed delivery number and told it was shipping. That install was cancelled...so I reschedule. Repeat the reschedules. Just got that cancellation and called customer service. I was told that unit was damaged. I said I find it hard to believe there was only one unit in the state. I was told they were *probably* sold. New date the device will arrive at the warehouse mid-April meaning at best a late April install. I'm going to run over to my local BB this weekend and check out what's in stock. Stand back. No video or photo because I still don't have the unit. No wonder they are closing.

Best Buy sold and installed a wrong type of a gas range in my house, which caused gas poisoning and a fire hazard. I am trying to resolve the issue and Best Buy simply ignores it. One of the store supervisors Ricki Koeberle promised to help and now ignoring my messages. It is simply appalling! Best Buy is not standing behind it's products or services. I would never buy from them again!
Whenever I walk into one of their stores, I feel like a kid in a candy shop. The selection of electronics is simply impressive. Whether I'm looking for a new laptop, TV, or even some new headphones, I can always find them at Best Buy. Shopping there always feels like a warm and comforting experience.
This lame store won't swap out items while in mfg warranty. Just to push their real profit margin the "protection" plan.

So I go onto their message boards and post a question, and someone named Melissa sent me a very rude racist message and basically said my kind was not welcome there. Thank God for Amazon.

Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
