My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

After many purchases from B&H I really trust them. I cancelled my amazon prime subscription because most items I would buy off amazon I can get from B&H, and I got tired of wondering if I was going to get a genuine product in the mail from amazon. They always have what I need(primarily photography equipment) at a reasonable price, pack it well for shipping, and ship fast. One of the few companies I would feel comfortable asking for purchasing advice.

Usually its free 2 day shipping, a lens cleaning kit I just ordered did not qualify. I think this is the first order I've actually had to pay shipping on out of probably a dozen though so I would assume shipping is free generally. I have not worked with their customer service but I am confident they would handle anything properly. I would trust them with purchasing advice, for example people asking about the eclipse in the comments of the solar photography article got good advice.

I completely understand if something gets damaged in shipping, but my box isn't perfect shape and the monitor I received this cracked on the screen with no cover on the screen. Which means they knowingly, sent me a broken monitor. Insanely terrible at of doing business

Every time I've ordered from B&H it was easy to find what I needed at a fair price. Shipping is nearly always free and I don't need an annual membership unlike some places that need not be named.
I order a lot of things for our small business like computers and computer components and accessories, tablets, A/V equipment, printing supplies. I've ordered a few special order items, which they're very clear about needing additional processing time, and I've always received my orders as promised.
Thankfully, I've never once received any damaged or non-functional equipment, and I've never had to contact their customer support. I've never even needed to return anything because it didn't meet my expectations, which I credit to their product listings being complete and accurate.
As a fair warning, B&H sometimes doesn't allow placing orders, or will not ship during holidays which some people might consider a negative thing, but I fully support their policy and am glad that they are giving their employees the opportunity to celebrate and observe their traditions.

I've been a B&H customer for more than 30 years (starting at their original storefront). They have always been knowledgeable, with very competitive prices. In the internet age, their website has become the best of all photo retailers, making it easy to find what you are looking for, order it, and have it quickly delivered for no additional charge (if your order is over $50). How much better could it be?

Our teacher, Jauhn Hinkle had ordered lenses and negative carriers, 5 of each. We are completely unsatisfied because he paid all the money and never got the lenses and carriers. Last year, I made a significant purchase of a $2,000 computer from B&H. Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, it turned out to be of extremely poor quality and unusable. Despite my dissatisfaction, B&H redirected the responsibility to Microsoft, absolving themselves of any accountability for selling me a defective computer.
Given that I rely on a functional computer for work, I had no choice but to purchase a reliable product from Apple, a company known for standing behind their products. Months later, B&H offered me a refund, but with an exorbitant 25 percent restocking fee. This was unacceptable, especially for a computer that Microsoft had confirmed as inoperable.
My advice to others would be to avoid purchasing computers or cameras from B&H and opt instead to buy directly from manufacturers who are responsive to issues and fully back their products.

I haven't ordered from B&H before but will purchase from again. I was looking for 2TB SSD 2.5" drive at Amazon. The one I found, Honey located cheaper on B&H. I decided to try it. It was easy and quick with quick shipping. Not only that I have smaller capacity 2.5" HDD at home so with the savings, the site presented an external SSD/HDD enclosure for 2.5" drives so I decided to get that as well.

Customer service at this company did anything but serve this customer. Be very careful before you order anything! I ordered an item and realized after opening it that it was the wrong product. Even though the items were still individually wrapped and untouched in their original packaging, customer service denied my return simply because I had cut open the tape on the box. No compassion. Emails were very unfeeling as they hid behind their return policy. I understand items that have been opened and handled are harder to resell, but this product was completely intact in its packaged form. So...I'm stuck with a $250 product I cannot use over a piece of tape that was cut. I DO NOT recommend any company that has such little value for their customers. I'm a loyal buyer and would have purchased from B&H for a long time had they treated me well. Please consider going elsewhere and supporting businesses that value the customers they serve.

B&H has always been high on my list of retailers to work with when buying new and used photography equipment. They carry brands ranging from niche to name brand and are often listed at great prices. It is easy to keep up to date and track their sold out supplies if needed.

B&H is my go to place for photography gear. They do a wonderful job maintaining their website with accurate product descriptions, product reviews and how to videos. They are also competitively priced and price match places like Adorama, Focus Camera, Best Buy and other major retailers. I have been extremely pleased with how well B&H ships their merchandise too. I have bought from another camera retailer on rare occasions for SD cards and an external hard drive and the other retailer did not adequately package these items and they were smashed. This has never happened with B&H.

What's the deal with the checkout process? I keep having to go back and review address or cart before I get an active "place order" button. I often find myself in a loop of verifying address/payment method/review order until I can finally place the order. "Calculating taxes and duties" also never seems to resolve. This website is buggy. Using Brave browser with shields down. Brave is Chrome based.

Default search provides items no longer in stock. This is a hit to my expectations! It's easy to limit search results to "In Stock" but why would I have to? I understand the value of keeping old reviews and old items for research purposes but an initial visit from a Google Search showing 318+ items should actually have been the 70+ matching choices that were available today - I did buy today from this site after tweaking all the results and now rate it honestly per its request.

I have ordered internationally with B&H. They have not made contact with me, despite having multiple ways of doing so, and when the package got stuck in custom, they let it sit there and be destroyed. They did not refund me, nor apologize. 200$ value worth of purchases- gone. They do not care about your business, and I would advise against ever using their services.

We sent two emails on this topic to you, using the email address you provided when the order was placed. In each we informed you that if the fees were not paid then the shipper, DHL, would consider the package abandoned as is their common practice. Even if you have been purchasing from them regularly for many years, the day you face a problem with an item, they show non responsibility. You should solve your problem by yourself. BH will not cancel our order that went out of stock. I was forced to wait till item becomes available. Now that the item was available and shipped, it's taken more than 2 weeks. It's still under shipment. I still haven't received item while writing this review.
We spend thousands of dollars every year upgrading our equipment. Now I know where NOT to go.

Our online product page is clear and unambiguous and says, "Special Order. Expected availability: 4-6 weeks. Important Notice: This item is noncancelable and nonreturnable."
