My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.
The store is amazing, you've never seen anything like it. For online ordering, their sales team is extremely helpful and patient. The prices are very competitive, and they send out very helpful email advertisements. It's spam I actually enjoy! Great experience.

I mean, great outfit, comparable to most places. Pricing SOMETIMES is even cheaper than the bigger markets. Good shopping experience except their sorting in search is half broken. "Price lowest to highest" never works if you click on the drop down to activate that. If you go to ANY other option it will work, and THEN you can sort by Price Lowest to Highest. They need a slight update for that it seems. I haven't had to deal with customer service yet but I've heard they are great.
Tip for consumers:
When sorting during a search if you want "Price low to high" choose ANY other options in the dropdown, like "Relevance" THEN you can choose "Price low to high" it usually does not work straight off.

It's not just price, it's not just selection, it's a multitude of factors. Shipping, no out-of-state tax applied, items with reviews, and being an authorized dealer of certain merchandise; these are the kind of things that matter to me. When I buy from B&H, I know I'm buying directly from them, not from some random seller in distant plains disguised as B&H.
For the kind of things I usually buy from them, they're really good for. For example, I recently lost my phone in an Uber ride. It's as good as lost, they driver can not care less; almost no chance of recovery. B&H let's me choose their financing option so I can pay it off for an affordable monthly payment, and save myself from being charged interest.

I've dealt with B&H a dozen or more times over six or seven years. I've always been impressed with how easy it is to find what I want. Their prices are always the lowest I can find or within a dollar or two plus no sales tax and no shipping charges for fast (2 WD) delivery. It's a very pleasant place to shop.

You have to do your research about equipment, technology, application etc. yourself before buying at B&H! The sales people are not always 100% knowledgeable about what they sell. You have to find a customer-friendly specialist about what you want to buy which is difficult at peak times. Prices are not better than anywhere else, and you might not like the ethnic bias... If item is in store, checkout is easy. Shipment usually fast and reliable.

I have been a B&H customer for over 30 years. Before the days of the internet, I would receive their catalog in the mail and place my order by calling them. They have always been professional, answered my questions, and provided great customer service.
It's now even easier to order with the internet and I love their free shipping.

If you have a photographic need, it is a one stop place to shop. Through out the years, I have been able to locate items that were almost impossible to obtain locally. Not only do they offer some of the best prices for these products, but shipping is free. B&H has been my go-to supplier of photographic equipment for several decades. The buying experience has always been positive, and I have never encountered a "surprise" in the deal (which unfortunately I did many, many years ago when shopping with other online dealers). B&H is where I bought my gaming notebook PC, also. And if I ever try an Apple Mac, this is where I will buy it from. They continue to be a great place for my business.

I've never had any issues purchasing photo or computer gear from B&H. They nearly always have the lowest prices, have free shipping, and great customer service as well. I purchased some security cameras for our office, then found out upon receipt that I had ordered the wrong model... they shipped out the replacement model before I had even sent the others back, and credited me in full upon receipt of the wrong ones... I always check with B&H first!

They have everything branded that you need in terms of photo/video making. It's a bit pricier than stuff you find on Amazon because they take on bigger brands. I just wish they reduce their holiday shipping schedule and make the search not repeat a lot of their inventory.

I have be dealing with B&H Photo since 1994 and they have been good for far with their ordering and photo knowledge. I had one mix up on product order and they helped get it straighten out and sent correct item even though it took a few calls. One of the last few big independent camera stores. They have a gray website and offer almost any product you'll realistically ever need. And they have good customer service too: the few times I needed some extra help they always were willing to assist. If you need a camera or lens or light or microphone or anything else for taking pics or making movies I hope you check them out.

Best source for photo enthusiasts, if you need info, they have product experts for advice, if you know what you want, it is easy to find it on their website, suggested accessories for your purchase are often good choices, and checkout is a piece of cake once you establish an account.

You can't go wrong with B&H. Great product info, great staff, great prices, and great shipping rates. Never an issue with any order and returns were a breeze. Patience and Kindness work wonders. I think the best part of buying something here is the option to add as many gift cards that you have AND split payments between credit cards. This came in handy when I had a Visa gift card. I used up the amount of the Visa gift card and put the remainder on my regular credit card. Not many online retailers have that kind of flexibility. Plus you can sometimes earn gift cards with purchases (usually 2-4% of purchase price) on select items. Two Thumbs Up!

Even with the vast amount of items on their website, B&H makes it easy to search for everything you need. I have been a customer for many years. Item was out of stock when I first ordered on-line. This happened last night. Put myself on waiting list and today Item was already in stock. To my surprise, item already cost $19 more. Of course, doubt set in. Was item purposely declared out of stock so that I had to pay the higher price? $19 increase not much and I even got the squared 2-yr protection plan in addition to the manufacturer's limited 1-yr warranty. I just hope that the free shipment (packing and delivery date) would be in order. Additionally, I also ordered external hard drive which is arriving on the same delivery date. I want to be a good B&H customer. I hope B&H would not violate my trust. I am giving three stars thinking that what happened was only an aberration.

Thank you for your order and this feedback. We regret your unwarranted suspicion. The fact is that prices fluctuate and that products go into and out of availability. The two events are usually unrelated, but there are times when our supplier will take the opportunity, while restocking our warehouse, to make a price adjustment. It is hardly likely that we would make a $19 adjustment and risk upsetting a customer over so modest an amount. The the problem-solving principle "Occam's razor" says (paraphrasing here) until disproved the simplest explanation is the most likely. I think that applies.
