“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

I have been ordering from B&H for years. I'm usually looking for the best price once I've decided on an item. Then I browse the web and check eBay, Amazon, et al. In the end, B&H often has the best price or comes very close to the lowest bids. If the hunt is for anything in the Audio/Visual area, then my choice is easy even if B&H are a few dollars more. Today I got a bunch of network gear, and to my surprise, B&H had the lowest bid on the net. Wonderful!

I'll be coming back for sure! Great prices, easy to navigate website and chat was perfect! I had been searching for the Harmon Kardon Onyx studio 2 and was having a hard time deciding where to buy. I stumbled across this company via goggle and after found out very quickly that this was my new place!

Great customer service, both on advice or returns and beats any price I can find locally by as much as $200. Great search engine too, think I might need to write on the back of my credit card, "If lost return to B and H photo".

Too many clicks are needed to get the information needed to make an informed selection. I'm speaking of camera accessories here. The info on cameras and lenses themselves seems adequate. However, when looking for cases to fit zoom lenses, there is only one search filter for size of case, and that is length. Length of what? Length of lens or length of case? Not enough info to compare interior dimensions and exterior dimensions. Took an hour to find the case I needed, and "Chat" not available on a Monday after 5 pm.

I love B&H and have for years. Going into the store, I literally have to pull myself out before I buy again. Now this online experience is just as difficult for me to indulge and its super fast and I find exactly what I want within second. I may have to get off of the mailing list. Thank you. ;)

My friend once asked me to help him to find a good video equipment, because he wanted to open up a photo studio and create various videos and take pictures of people. I thought that it would be a great idea and also decided to help him and invested some money. He is fond of photographing and I understood that he would manage to become successful in this sphere. However, the main problem was the lack of professional equipment. I searched in the internet for proper companies and faced this one. There is a very big assortment of equipment and I proposed my friend to buy it here. We ordered here some professional cameras and they were delivered in time.

All it said in the cell phone description was Note: "box" and had very obvious links to all the accessories you might need. So I expect to get the box. Hoping it includes the charger and cable. Otherwise fair price. Like having a warranty.

I'm fortunate to live in a market that still has a great professional camera store and I always try and buy local. However when Precision doesn't have what I need B&H is my go to backup. Great service and support and an amazing selection.

B&H has everything I need as a photographer. My local photography store needs to order most of what I go to purchase. I can get it from B&H quicker and at less cost, particularly since most items ship at no additional charge to me.

I ordered an expensive lens (about $750 as I recall), but it never arrived despite the tracking showing it had arrived. The lens was not anywhere near my house in the country. I called B&H and told them what happened. They could have just blown me off, but they took my word for it and shipped me another new lens within 72 hours... no charge.

I can't think of any other store that would do that with a new customer, can you?

Needless to say, I am now a B&H customer FOR LIFE.

With honesty, efficiency, and the widest selection of photographic related stuff in the world, a photographer or videographer can't ask for more.

I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I'm in the middle of replacing some of my older photography gear with more modern equipment. I have found everything I need at B&H, and, with the payboo card, I don't pay sales tax. And shipping is free. Unlike Amazon, you can find answers to common questions, and either do an online char, or call to get help if you don't know what works with what, plus, with the payboo card, you don't pay sales tax -- they do! So far, I am very pleased with my purchases.

I recently ordered a power adaptor for my Canon camera to use to shoot the total eclipse on July 21. When I ordered it I was told I would receive it in 3 days. After three days and no adaptor, I started trying to track to see where it was. I entered the tracking # which stated that it had been delivered. I had been signed for by someone I did not know. I phone customer service and explained that we are leaving Thurs. For Oregon and really need the adaptor before we leave. B&H customer service sent me out a second adaptor (of course I had to pay again. Will be credited back when I receive the new adaptor. To my surprise I received the adaptor the next day, with more research I noted that the previously "delivered" adaptor was what was delivered. I should receive the replacement on Tues. Or Wed. So far they have been great. Will update when the other adaptor shows up.

I've been shopping with B&H for over 10 years. I LOVE this store, both brick & mortar and online. Delivery is speedy and reliable. Service is helpful, honest and knowledgeable. I haven't signed up for Payboo yet, but it's great that they are looking out for their customers.

If I need technical advice I know I can get it from these folks since their opinions have proven to be completely on target again and again. Their supply of photographic kit is incredible and their shipping process gets my orders out the door and on their way in record time. And thanks to the care they take in securely packaging orders, everything shows up in perfect shape. Quick and free shipping. Same day shipping if I order by 1pm PST. I've bought a few parts from this company and they've been good to me so far. All 3 orders I've made so far have arrived on time, and all of the merchandise has been in pristine condition... which I can't always say is true for either newegg or amazon.

The only con I can give is I wish they stocked a bigger selection of parts.

Your website is so easy to navigate and check out. I have been a HUGE fan of BH Photo for years, but never left a review. The photography videos on YouTube were my first introduction. The high quality of these along with the amazing free help lead me to believe that this was a great company. I was right!
