My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

Okay, I had a problem that Nikon could not solve, having to do with the Prostaff 5 12x50 binocular (I bought from you) that has a female tripod adapter thread, but too large to accept normal L-shaped brackets. The cap was so difficult to remove I scratched it up rather badly with needle nosed pliers before resorting to small vice grip, which worked. Your agent at this point sounded not only perplexed but uncaring about the situation. He did, however, supply me with the NIBM letters to look it up with in the catalog, the one and only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I hope it works, or no more business will ever be conducted with you by me. You have always been my preferred source of optics and was wishing to further my collection, if that even matters to you...

Great place to get my photography gear et cetera. Bought my first light meter there in 1985, still like to shop there now. Sadly cannot go by the store anymore, as I live in Washington now, but the online store is still a great way to get my gear. Most of what they have is decent gear, rarely have I gotten a dud.

Don't believe that it will take some period of time to cancel an order! Mine was canceled in minutes, though I just wanted to make sure it placed on my account. I had not realized I had not yet logged in and wanted the order to be on my account. Went to chat, and found out it had already been canceled! Always have had a good experience ordering from B&H!

I shop between B&H and amazon and while they often have similar pricing, I will go through B&H 99% of the time. Shipping time, as I am on the west coast, is the only reason I would go through anyone else. It usually takes about a week, to a week and a half to get my orders. Other than that, I would only shop with B&H.

About a week ago ago, I visited the BHPhotovideo.com website, merely to view the price of an item.
Since then, my mailbox has been barraged by a non-stop stream of solicitous emails I never subscribed to. I have prompted the UNSUBSCRIBE box, received confirmation thereof, but the emails just keep coming.
Apparently, BHPhotovideo merely changes an item in their user name/local part. E.g. Dealzone; newsletter; specials; etc. then continues as before.
Contacting BHPhotovideo proved fruitless: seemingly, they are as dismissive as they are unscrupulous. There has been no reply, and the stream of Solicitous Adverts continue unabated.
Given their apathy towards requests, I am forced to advise other prospective customers NOT to visit the website of this obnoxious, in-your-face dealer in the first place! Aggressive sales tactics are bad enough, but this form of Cyber Bullying is reprehensible. This vendor is shamelessly abrasive.

For years whenever I needed a photo or video product or accessory, I immediately went to there B&H website and placed my order. Process are fair, delivery is fast, and if there is a problem their after-sale service is impeccable. My only wish is that I lived closer to NYC so I could visit the superstore!

But a tv from them. On tv product page states 30 day return policy. I ordered TV based on BH recommendations. I wasn't satisfied with product and decided to return for something else. I was told since TV is over 37', I can't return it even thought on product page states 30 day return. Total misleading. I written to 10 different customer service and to no satisfaction, none of them cared. I've been a BH customer for years and have spent over 10k with them over the years and this is the way they treat there customer. Amazon does not have these scandalous return policy. Don't put 30 day return on a product page and they switch policy. Would not recommend BH. Look to Amazon or Adorama for customer service

I've written a review for B&H every time I've checked out with them. It's always a pleasurable experience. I keep seeing a lot of 1-star reviews, and honestly I don't understand why. I have literally NEVER had an issue with B&H. I've been using them for nearly 5 years now, and started back in 2014 when I first started taking photography classes in college. This is hands-down the BEST photography site to get anything from, ESPECIALLY for college students.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you're aware of Jewish holidays! This is incredibly important if you have deadlines to meet because the stores and the site are closed for processing during Jewish holidays.

I've purchased pretty much all of my photography equipment from here. DSLR, photo printing paper, lenses, you name it. I love them all. Always top-notch quality, and excellent shipping services.

I've always had good dealings with B&H, but this time the item was backordered forever. When I tried to get an update on my order by phone the estimated wait time was 101 minutes. The online chat wasn't much better, they were not able to find/ verify my order.
I noticed a slightly more expensive model of what I was looking for became available, I canceled my original order, ordered the new item and I should receive it in a week!
All is good again!

I did not give a five starts because the information about the Dell computer that I am ordering is somewhat incomplete. For example, the picture of the computer back does not show the graphic card. To me this is an important information because I was checking whether the card is compatible with DisplayPort AND HDMI. The picture does not show the Graphic card at all. A minor detail but very important for my setup.

This behemoth of a retailer has now gotten too big. Earlier in the year they sent me a used and scratched filter as and I paid full new price. I just ordered and monitor that is meant to be color calibrated at the factory and cost over 1K they sent me a used Monitor and did not even try to make it look new. Notice the shipping label sloppy ripped then they put this box in another box also sloppy wrapped. I will be returning this and buy a new and and expect a new one. In the future I will try to buy from smaller retailers like Sammys camera and Midwest photo.
Tip for consumers:
Find it somewhere else to buy from, with a company that wants to earn your business with being reliable and trustworthy.

Shipping was 2 days later than the estimate. because they sent me used and unusable equipment I now need to wait to return get a refund then order from another reputable vendor. So that makes shipping weeks not days.
Just know if you buy from BH they may send you used gear and call it new. This is the second time this has happened to me this year

B&H's physical website is expansive, which I can see people getting a little intimidated by. This is a professional website that combines a lot of different disciplines into a single site, but going from audio equipment to photography and video equipment, to a TV and home theatre system, I have never had any sort of hiccups or problems with B&H. Their phone service is great (How I ended up ordering my TV), their returns and used buying options are simple to submit and easy to receive my funds. There seems to be a lot of bad reviews, but I've been shopping exclusively at B&H for five years and I have never had any trouble or never been less than 100% satisfied, for what its worth!
