After many purchases from B&H I really trust them. I cancelled my amazon prime subscription because most items I would buy off amazon I can get from B&H, and I got tired of wondering if I was going to get a genuine product in the mail from amazon. They always have what I need(primarily photography equipment) at a reasonable price, pack it well for shipping, and ship fast. One of the few companies I would feel comfortable asking for purchasing advice.
My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.
I wanted to include a soft or hard case for my New KenKo extension tubes with order for free shipping and what he wanted me to buy i didn't like so the on line help said he needed more time to research it, so now i have to pay shipping for it. So I cancelled order. Guess he was to busy to take the time to help me at this moment.

By tracking code my package is lost in Germany on November 12, and to the Republic of Moldova did not go.

From the 2nd of December, I wrote many letters asking me to return the money.

Very fast to order new battery for my camera. Web site easy to navigate. I was able to find the new battery for my D500 in a matter of minutes. Only took me another couple if minutes to check out. Very fast and easy to complete the process.

Needed to round out an order for a sd card for a zoom h1n that i got second hand from B&H. 4 packs of guitar strings justifies the 3.99 shipping that would have happened with just the card. I ordered a 64gb card initially that is too big for the zoom, but that fit in the a5000 i got at a pawn shop that i use to illustrate this review.
Tip for consumers:
get all your supplies from B&H, if they don't have it in stock you don't need it.

Have been a long time customer - It's the best experience with a business I've had. I live in California but it feels like I get the brick and mortar experience at my house. The first order I ever placed I was shocked when an employee called me to discuss my order I had just placed, noticed two accessories I purchased weren't compatible and helped me get what I needed to make it work. They didn't just accept an order and throw it out the door. During the holidays, the FREE next day air has been amazing - I don't know how they do it.

Apple Pay just streamlined checkout to be a popup on my browser and a pop up on my phone. I clicked ApplePay for payment and then tapped my thumb on my phone and payment was completed. B&H has embraced the future of payments.

I can't believe how easy it was to point, click and checkout as a guest. Instead of making me jump through hoops to create a profile I instead checked out in what was easily the fastest transaction I've EVER conducted online.

I've purchased a lot of my gear through B&H over the past ten years. Recently I purchased a light that clearly displayed the accessories included, but when I received the item, one of the accessories was missing. When I contacted B&H to see why, they said that it wasn't included and I should have read the fine print. The accessory was NOT grayed out in the featured images and was clearly shown as part of the purchase. The customer service person was not helpful in slightest and only said that he would bring it up to their Internet team. I checked back a week later and the image is still posted misleading new buyers. I feel that hey should have honored their mistake in visually misleading my decision to buy the item and at least sent me the missing part. They did not. If this keeps happening, I'm going to think about shopping elsewhere online.

Its' hard to review your product once its order, if you have some possible order in the past, you have to move them so it is bit pain in butt, because you do not want to deleat them, but not ready to buy them

This is not specifically a review on B&H but on their choice to choose Comenity for their new PlayBoo credit card.
Comenity will use Experian for a credit report only. Due to the T-Mobile hack and my information now in the dark web I froze my credit through Experian. Other companies will and have in my case used other agencies credit reports to verify credit. Comenity will not. B&H has now lost me as a customer over this.

The bank may use one or another or all three and do not tell us which in advance. The links on our FAQ let you unlock the credit bureaus temporarily so your application can be processed without incident. You can continue shopping here and continue our relationship without submitting a Payboo application if you prefer. Tried to pricematch a CPU with them that was $50 cheaper at Microcenter and they wouldn't match it because the lower price wouldn't make them as much money as their marked up price. They told me the price was locked and then ended up lowering the price of it by $30 several days later so apparently they lie to their customers. I would shop at Microcenter for better deals on computer parts and would not shop here again due to the poor customer service and pricing.

I just did a side-by-side order of a video encoder (Amazon and B&H). Long story short, I went with B&H because--while the price on Amazon was originally cheaper--I paid less as I don't have to pay taxes and I don't have to pay for shipping to get it here on the same day (free two-day shipping compared to $20+ two-day shipping).
I've used B&H many times before. I wanted to check multiple places to make sure I was getting the best price. I'll save myself the time next time and just shop on B&H!

I recieved a defective battery so I opened a return RMA and sent the battery back, I never got a refund. I used thier return shipping lable, the item was delivered with a signature and they will not refund the payment. Been fighting with them for 4 months and I give up. It's not the $10 its the principle of the matter. They should stand behind thier products and do the right thing. Update: Thats great, this has been going on since July 2022, I show proof that the item was returned and they just fought me, denying my refund over and over, until thier bad customer service practices are exposed publicly by my review, then all the sudden they take notice and finally refund me. If no one was watching, they never would have refunded me. It probably cost them way more than $10 in labor for all the months or fighting me and denying my refund for 4 months, certainly wasted a ton of my personal time, ALL OVER $10. Its not the money but the principal. I won't be shopping there again, EVER!
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy here, if there are any problems they will do nothing to help you and they don't deserve your business. Look at all the negative reviews saying the same.

Overall, B&H is great for professional photographers and videographers. I live in Europe and unfortunately I pay A LOT of taxes and shipping cost. But I haven't found anything else yet that matches this store's variety of products and quality service!
