After many purchases from B&H I really trust them. I cancelled my amazon prime subscription because most items I would buy off amazon I can get from B&H, and I got tired of wondering if I was going to get a genuine product in the mail from amazon. They always have what I need(primarily photography equipment) at a reasonable price, pack it well for shipping, and ship fast. One of the few companies I would feel comfortable asking for purchasing advice.

“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

I searched for a camera store that had the brand new Fuji XT-4 silver camera in stock and was excited to see B&H had what I wanted in stock! B&H is a great store to do business with and I will return yet again to buy all my camera needs with them!

Searched for a 2 bay NAS to replaced my aging WD My Book Live Duo. This one seems to be the best overall replacement with respect to cost, performance and availability! By the way, the order process way way easier than and more expedient than ANY of the others!

Their online customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I ordered a set of photo paints from them about a month ago and when these arrived I was greeted by a box of broken glass and spilled red paint. I was very unhappy since I needed these and can't get them locally and now had a huge mess on my hands. I was just glad that none of my photo paper ordered was exposed to the paint. I asked to return just the broken color so I could use the rest but was told I needed to return all. I did so and was told the replacement set would be packaged better. When this arrived I knew before opening the box that we had an issue because you could hear the paints rattling around in a box much too big and not protected in bubble wrap. I opened the box to find the same mess (except orange this time). B & H refuses to give me a partial refund for this debacle and seems really insincere about their mistakes so now I just am waiting for my next set of broken, messy paints in a box of glass shards to arrive. I won't be doing business with them after this.

I've purchased several monitors for our office from B&H Photo when they have them on sale. Saved a lot of money on some very high quality monitors over the years. If you're on an Apple MacBook Air (2013 or later) you can run the LG 34" ultra-wide at it's native resolution (almost 4k)! The LG Ultra-wide is an amazing 21:9 aspect ratio monitor and it works great for office work laptops! Get the correct model with Thunderbolt 2 connectors: 'LG 34UC98-W 34" 21:9 Curved IPS Monitor'. There's also a newer USB C model, but that's only going to work well with later model Apple computers with USB C connectors. The model listed herein is the best model for owners of slightly older Apple laptops. Anyway, just wanted to slip that bit into this review about how much I've enjoyed purchasing from B&H over the years. I think they are a great place to buy stuff online. When they're having sales, they can even undercut Amazon!

I just bought a Metz Mecablitz 26 AF-1 electronic flash for my Fujifilm digital camera. I've been looking for a reasonably priced TTL flash for my camera. I do hope this flash will be a good addition to my camera equipment.

Disgraceful service! Check out their regulations governing online purchases. They claim to accept returns for any reason but have a link to a laundry list of exceptions. BUYER BEWARE.

Thank you for your order and this feedback. We regret your dissatisfaction. Your report glosses over several issues, First, our FAQ specifies that non-returnable items include "Opened computers and computer software — original packaging cannot be unsealed." Second, we require a return authorization be requested and sent to you to initiate the return process. Third, we do not cover the cost of return shipping unless the reason for the return is our error or a product which was defective or damaged on arrival. Being "disappointed in the performance" does not suggest the product is defective. To suggest otherwise is disingenuous.

Your advice should say, "be sure to read their online rules COMPLETELY BEFORE buying anything from any online merchant!" Apparently we received this review from you because you failed to follow this excellent advice. -- Henry Posner / B&H Photo-Video
