After many purchases from B&H I really trust them. I cancelled my amazon prime subscription because most items I would buy off amazon I can get from B&H, and I got tired of wondering if I was going to get a genuine product in the mail from amazon. They always have what I need(primarily photography equipment) at a reasonable price, pack it well for shipping, and ship fast. One of the few companies I would feel comfortable asking for purchasing advice.
My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.
I have purchased from B&H before, but I never noticed that they offer a student and educator discount. I was happily surprised to see that the discount even applied to the Sony A7RIII. Thank you B&H for the discount and I will be sure to tell my high school students and other teachers about your discount program.

Don't waste your time -- order from somewhere else instead. Here is how I wasted 45 minutes of my day (not including the time spent writing this review). I went to B&H's website to purchase a $225 SSD drive. It said if I apply for the "payboo" credit card I would receive a credit in the amount of the tax which was $15.75 and could use the account immediately. I said ok, applied, was approved for several thousand dollars, but the card kept getting declined. I chatted with someone from B&H who said it was the bank's fault (Comenity which issues the B&H card) and I should call the bank. I did and the bank told me it is B&H's fault because the website keeps trying to put it through with a CVV code which doesn't exist because it's the first purchase, and keeps resulting in a decline. The bank tells me to call B&H. I call B&H back and someone else told me, again, it's the bank's fault and will call the bank for me. At the end I don't know whose fault it is, but what I do know is that it wasn't mine and I couldn't waste anymore time while they point fingers at each other so that I could--hopefully--save $15.75. So I ordered it from one of B&H's competitors instead and the process was nice and smooth, the same price, and same delivery date. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with B&H and/or their "payboo" credit card program.

Bh used to be a good company. It seems like I have to call support every other order now. Takes 30-60+ minutes to get a human. Call for sales and you're talking to someone in 1-5 minutes, but they refuse to help you. Seems like the company stops caring about the customer the minute they have your money. Last order I placed was on back order. I randomly checked the site about a week later and the item was in stock, but mine hadn't shipped. I contacted customer support and magically they shipped the item. I strongly suspect they would have sold it out from under me if I hadn't made a big deal out of it. I've just had too many problems ordering through bh over the last few years. Sad because they were a good company before that.
Update:
I've dealt with Henry Posner before. His mixture of condescension and arrogance is another reason to avoid this company if at all possible. Brian Markman smoothed over his mess after a previous unfortunate experience with BH, but I don't think I should recommend companies where you have to have a special contact to be treated well.
Tip for consumers:
Try to buy elsewhere first. Only use B&H when more reliable vendors don't have the product.

I live in Australia and I have tried to return a Western Digital Hard drive that was faulty from day one. The UPS service employed by B&H will not take the drive and return it to B&H because of a UPS policy, thus rendering B&H returns policy useless. I have made B&H aware but they have taken no action. OVERSEAS PURCHASERS LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Bought a TV from B&H on Cyber Monday. FOUR MONTHS LATER the TV has not shipped. They charged me the day I bought it. Hey B&H, Cyber Monday deals are supposed to be for Christmas. Christmas is not in April! They wouldn't offer a comparable model for the same price either as a replacement even 4 months later. Just terrible customer service that made my Christmas TV gift disappear!
