After many purchases from B&H I really trust them. I cancelled my amazon prime subscription because most items I would buy off amazon I can get from B&H, and I got tired of wondering if I was going to get a genuine product in the mail from amazon. They always have what I need(primarily photography equipment) at a reasonable price, pack it well for shipping, and ship fast. One of the few companies I would feel comfortable asking for purchasing advice.
My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.
It is easy to find a major product, however accessories are difficult. I went to select a Nikon Coolpix P900 and found it and a great selection of accessories. However, when I came back four days later, I could find the camera easily, but only a smaller limited list of accessories. If a person finds just the right accessory, WRITE DOWN ALL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION -- you may not be able to find it later.

I always check B&H first. For something I know I want, I just go on line and order it. Their staff is very knowledgable and it's easy to figure out which item is best for you.

B&H is good, but not perfect. They earned my family's trust over a period of years. We order from B&H and don't have to worry if the products we receive will be Chinese knock-offs (which is a real problem with Amazon). The few times we've had a problem with a B&H order, the issue has been very well handled.
But, they do have some problems with their ordering process. Very recently I placed an order, then decided to add something to that order. The website provided a way to do it, but doing so put my order into into "secretly hung status" where it showed an expected delivery date, but in reality the order hadn't shipped and wouldn't until I called to see why my package was never delivered.
Nor was that my first problem with a hung order at B&H. When I ordered a $7K HP workstation a few years ago, they sat on the order for months while waiting for a $70 PCI card to come in that I didn't even really need. By the time I got the PC, the price had literally dropped. Nobody ever even asked if I'd like to have the PC shipped without the missing PCI card.

Be sure and comparison shop Sweetwater.

I have used B & H several times before and they have not let me down yet. I have bought MacBook Pro at the best price a few weeks ago and we are very satisfied with the buying process not to mention free tax since we live in Maryland. FYI, we are buying Nintendo 2DS and I am hoping to get it by Dec 22nd which is the estimated delivery date.

I've followed various websites over the years to buy my technology related items, and for the longest time, it was Eggheads, then Zipzoom Fly, then NEwEgg, and until 2 years ago its been Amazon, just due to price and quick shipping.
I've been going to BHPhoto more and more for both my personal and company needs, and now for any technology I look to BH first, and then amazon. Even if BH is 5 dollars cheaper, its worth it usually to go through them.
Purchased a 75" TV, Numerious Routers/Access Points, Monitors, and other technology from BH, and will continue to do so.
Had an instance where a week later something I purchased went on sale, clicked the EASY TO SEE "Live Chat" button asked for a price match, and it happened.
Easily my Fav site to buy now, and don't hesitate.
