“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

Reliable, helpful, quick, trustworthy; vast selection. I usually order online, but the store in NYC is an experience and the staff uniformly helpful and friendly. And... they know what they are talking about. Not your typical 21st century experience.

My only problem is I have given them reviews over the years and they still keep asking. Notwithstanding this very minor hiccup, it is a great place to shop..

B & H is a great camera store. I've bought most of my cameras, lens and photo accessories there. Their customer service is real customer service. They are knowledgeable and have always been helpful. They also ship orders right away.

I highly recommend them.

BH is the best. Because they provide a vast quantity of merchandise. I always need to do research to find solutions to problems. There is not better place to go online. The site provides a huge body of knowledge and the staff are always a great asset. Especially with online chats. I'm just entering into product photography. I'm a grad student attending Denver University Online. I should have a Master of Science degree in 2020 and my studio is coming together very nicely. Some really great images are just starting coming out it. I love B&H.

B&H was recommended by my photography class instructor. They always have what I'm looking for at pricing that beats any of the local electronics stores in my area. I have ordered many things including computers and photography equipment. My orders are always received within a week of ordering.

I adopted three girls 23 years ago who were hungry. The cost was above my means. So everything needed to go well that I did. And everything that I purchased from B&H Photo Video went well. For which I am thankful. Quality for the money invested was always there in the products. And value for dollar. I would like to have bought at the extreme high end of technology. But what I did buy met my needs and lasted a long time. And each girl fulfilled her potential and was able to dream again.

Tons of information about their products on the website, and knowledgeable staff make the purchase of expensive devices online much more comforting than through other channels. Prices are usually as good as Amazon, but service is way better, and... it's not a gigantic, world-altering behemoth of a company.

I rely on B&H for my every photographic need from cameras, lenses and printers to inks, cables, and any other miscellaneous accessory that I can think of. They have never disappointed and have always come thru with a wide variety of stock, expeditious delivery and superb customer service.

They usually have every thing you could need but, like most big stores, you're just one of the thousands that shop there daily. You don't get that "we care about your business" feeling that you find in smaller shops.

This is the first time I've ordered a "used" camera body from B&H and I look forward to seeing how the product performs. I truly appreciate their return policy but haven't had to use it anytime over the years.

One of the better places to get film and supplies, the free shipping on larger orders makes it economical. Some items are not available to be shipped however which means that other suppliers are needed to run a darkroom.

I have ordered a number of items from these folks and have found them wonderful to do business with. The prices are good and they will even refund the difference if an item goes on sale just after you order. The customer service is good - people are always courteous and good to work with and their technical chat teams are knowledgeable. This is my first stop whenever I need anything photo or electronic.

I used to rely on Amazon to get electronics, and got burned endlessly. The problem is that (1) many Amazon sellers use Amazon to offload their "class B" stock - items that were broken, returned, refurbished, damaged, etc. And (2) Amazon "bins" similar stock from all sellers. After returning everything three times, I started going to B&H. They are worthy of my trust. And if I occasionally get a bad item, they provide first class support to replace it.

I'm a regular customer of BH, their prices and customer service is excellent. Never had any issues with them, once their was wrong description but they refunded me my money and told me that I can keep the product.

Reliable, very reasonable prices, serious pro supplier. This is not your bazaar photo dealer who pulls up his tent stakes in the middle of the night! Very professional, handles any inquiries or problems to complete satisfaction. Absolutely top of the list. (note: I am merely a customer, not related to them in any way LOL)

B&H Photo has always provided me great service and always operates with the highest levels of integrity. I always trust my dealings with them, and they have never let me down. In particular, B&H is my go-to vendor for specialty items such as special batteries and high-speed camera memory cards. These products are often pirated or re-labeled. An online store such as Amazon provides goods from hundreds of different merchants, and there's no way for me to know if they are selling genuine or pirated merchandise. I want to be certain that I'm getting the correct merchandise, and I trust B&H to deliver. They also have great prices and a sales staff that will answer the phone and answer even very detailed photography questions.

B&H often has products that are sometimes hard to find - film, for example. Also It has made a commitment to their "bricks and mortar" store which assures individual help to the customer as well as local employment. This latter is dost important to the future of jobs and people making a living. Thank you all.

As always, B&H web site or app makes researching, selecting, and checkout a breeze! I use the 'compare' feature to narrow my selection, then place items in 'my wish list' where I can easily move them to 'my cart' when I'm ready to purchase. As a returning customer, completing my purchase only takes a couple of clicks. Great prices, great selection, easy purchasing, free shipping. That's a winner. Five Stars!

Like I said in the subject heading, I am somewhat "new" to these guy as I didn't really get so active in my purchasing until recently. However since last fall, I have ordered a fairly intense amount of equipment and its been pretty darn easy and with all the details clearly spelled out. I sincerely trust these guys to look out for you in the event that something doesn't go quite right as life would have it from time to time. I think that says a lot in these days I think! I think your checkout -- from determining shipping vs billing addresses & nearly everything else, to be the most awkward I've ever encountered. It was so frustrating that just before submitting I thought of leaving & seeing if I could find another site with the same prices. When it came down to it, I decided I'd finish the purchase with you but I'd not like to come back...

The B&H web site works the way you would expect a good web site to work. Everything makes sense and interaction returns the result you imagine it would. Beyond that their pricing, in my experience, is consistently lower than others. Shipping, which can be a problem on some sites (I live in Mexico), is simple, fast priced well.

Once more B&H has been the best solution for my electronic shopping needs. I needed a new iPad, since the old one, from early 2013, is taking too long to load apps and shows erratic performance. A quick look online showed that B&H offers the right product for the right price, with quick delivery and no shipping costs.
