“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

While looking for batteries and such for my Panasonic G7, I found it hard to match what batteries go with which cameras... had to read descriptions of too many wrong batteries to find what I wanted... maybe a link from the camera page to only the products that will work with it (and things like dummy batteries and chargers too)? Would be nice if on camera page links to things like compatible memory cards (and readers)... not fun spending hours to get what I need!

I've been buying from B&H since about 2007. I've bought four cameras and various lenses. I returned one camera and lens. I rely on email and their web site. My experience has always been good with prompt delivery, merchandise packed well, and merchandise described well on their web site. I don't have much experience with calling them as I prefer writing. I would definitely recommend them to friends. My last purchase prior to today's purchase was a Nikon 300mm F4 PF lens. I'll attach a sample photo using that lens.

Best online source of photo gear IMO... the source I choose 95% of the time. Over 20+ years of buying from them, they've proven to be responsive and helpful. Only on a couple of occasions was there a glitch with an order, and they responded appropriately.

Had the products I wanted. Easy to locate what I needed and efficient check out process. The only drawback was having to wait over 24 hours to place my order; however, they did send me a reminder with a easy-to-use link when the checkout was open.

Last my order from you and your support is worse than amazon. HDD stop to work later contact your support response come late and no any help got just asked contact manufacturer. Manufacturer doesn't want to fix product bug. When I purchase from amazon they care feedback of their customer, immediately push manufacturer to replace bad product. Hope you can understand and improve customer satisfaction.

I am a frequent purchaser of B&H products, usually photographic equipment.

The majority of the items are in stock and received via UPS the next day (NY to Maryland overnight) provided the order is placed by 5:00 PM. I have returned one item, a lens adapter, that I could not get to focus. The return was easy and the refund made promptly. All of the remaining equipment arrived and have worked as described.

I've ordered from B&H for over 30 years and have found them to be knowledgeable, easy to work with, responsive to the few issues that have arisen, and most of all, honest. I have turned on many of my photographer friends to B&H and they too are now frequent purchasers. Way to run a business!

I purchase much of my camera equipment from B&H because of their wonderful support of photographers through their great lecture series that I sometimes attend & often watch on Youtube. The staff in their great store are very informed & helpful. I'm even willing to pay a little more at B&H because of all this.

I just discovered B&H this year and have been purchasing my electronics from them since that time. Prior to discovering B&H I purchased electronics from almost every other type of store for over the past 40 years. I can say this with the greatest of confidence and accuracy, there is no better place to purchase electronics then B&H. Their prices, fast shipping, customer service and quality of products is unmatched. I wish I would have discovered B&H sooner. I know I would have saved ten of thousands of dollars given all the electronics that I've purchased through the years.

The employees were very knowledgeable and US based. They answered my questions quickly and made the process of making a large purchase from a previously unknown company very pleasant. I never heard of B&H before today but they will be one of my go to sources for electronics shopping.

In this day and age of amazon it's hard to imagine an online store that can compete, but B&H seems to be doing just that. Their prices are right on par with Amazon, their selection is vastly superior, and their support and instructions are just about the best out there. This is definitely my go to stop for camera gear.

All I can say it's a good thing I have self control and that photography is a secondary hobby for me. I'd be broke in an instant. I bought a lens for my daughter and yelled out, "done". My wife said, "You bought it already?" Two friends of mine buys all of their gear here and I probably will, too.

This review is about interface usability of the website it's not about goods and their quality.
Nice and good size of letters and indentations for easily finding and reading description of goods. All options of goods at the right place and you see all of them without any additional movements - size, color...
Recommended accessories can be see it in popups window. You don't need to open additional browser tab.
So basically no annoying things means smooth buying

I recently ordered a new lens and chose to have it shipped to the location of my Labor Day weekend vacation, anticipating doing a lot of shooting in the shore town where I was headed. Sadly, B&H chose FedEx as the carrier and the lens never arrived to me by my departure date. I made several phone calls to B&H customer service, which only ended in more frustration met with their curt apologies. Nothing was offered by them to make it right.
