“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

B&H has become my go-to spot for ordering camera and lighting equipment, but also for recent MacBook Pro purchases. Shipping is fast & free, the couple of times I've needed to call the service was great, and with the Payboo card B&H covers the tax on every order. With electronics this is significant! This probably sounds like a fake review, but I'm a filmmaker in the Chicago area and I assure you it's not! :)

Worst service ever! FedEx lost my package, and B&H didn't file a claim with FedEx. I lost my money simply because B&H didn't do what they were supposed to do. Don't buy from B&H.

Thanks for your email and again this would have been best if we had been able to speak on the phone. I have had our warehouse management team and director of customer service look into this again to see why they are convinced the serial number that was returned was from Nikon D7500 camera that was on the first order.

I have emailed the original invoice from the first order you placed on June 28th which shows we shipped out the Nikon D7500 serial number ending in 991. The photo of the box you sent contained the same serial number that was on that invoice. You signed an affidavit stating that you did not receive the camera shipped on June 28,2023, with a serial number ending in 991. Once you can speak on the telephone, I will explain why the receipt for the replacement camera had that serial number on it.

At this point I have to stand with the decision our returns department made of not issuing a refund for the Nikon D7500 camera.

If you play with high end electronics long enough, you'll deal with plenty of companies; sometimes directly with manufacturer's (Intel, Gigabyte) over warranty claims, sometimes with vendors over returns. But rarely will you find a customer service experience like you'll get at B&H. Contacting them about as issue is like calling your buddy to help you, or calling that little store you always go to that knows your name. The person you talk to will personlly handle your claim, personally call you back, not pass you off to someone else because they're tired of dealing with you. I look here first for my high end motherboards, graphics cards, etc, and unless the price is drastically different, which it rarely is, I try to buy from here first because of the peace of mind of knowing how I'll be treated.

I have bought many products from B and H over the years. They sell many quality photo and electronic accessory products. Bought my JVC Camcorder there last year and works great along with a bipod at prices much better than local retailers or other online retailers. Also their customer service is excellent. If you have a problem they will make it right.

As a loyal Canadian customer its still cheeper to shop at B&H then in Canada. Most product is in stock and they have a very good selection of products. I cant wait to visit there store latter this year. Keep up the good work B&H *****

I ordered an Epson P400 printer from B&H today because I know from past experience that if I have any problems with the order B&H will take care of it to my complete satisfaction. Very few places today will stand behind their products like they do. There prices are in line with any other network business. I have been a customer of B&H for over 20 years. Enough said!

I needed some not very esoteric printing supplies which my local photo store did not have in stock. I was able to find all of them quickly and easily on B&H Photo's website and it is sending them to me with expedited shipping. Couldn't be better.

I still remember the one time I had to cancel an order last minute, the sales representative wasn't trying to sell me something else or find some other way for me to simply make a sale but was extremely compassionate and understanding. Since then i've purchased the bulk of my business equipment from B&H to help support their cause and the history they have.

I did not deal with their customer service and/or have to return something but I lost my nikon charger for a dslr battery and was looking for a replacement. The original one is like $60+... and that's kind of ridiculous. There were many alternatives and I almost ordered the original from them but it was on back order indefinitely (thanks nikon for discontinuing older equipment!) and I came across an alternative they recommended which had mostly positive reviews.
At first I thought that they were slow to ship, but I realized that they don't send an email with tracking/shipping update but when I checked the order status the tracking showed that it was almost being delivered. It might have to do with how close you live to a distribution center but I was fine with their free slower shipping.

I've bought a fair amount of equipment through B&H photo to support a new video and photographic hobby. The staff has been knowledgeable and patient with beginners and I have never once been talked down to. Ordering through the website has been incredibly easy. The only instance of a delay in processing had to do when I gave up on an item that had been back-ordered for 6 weeks, that had been paid for using pay-pal, and while explained immediately, they couldn't be as flexible in re-allocating those funds to pay for new purchases, compared to had it been paid directly with a credit card instead. But that was because of PayPal's rules, not B&H's. I mention B&H photo to all my friends when they are considering major purchases.

I purchased a camera but there was a problem in mexican customs so the camera is blocked. I don`t have my camera and B&H is not giving me my money back. I've been waiting for over 3 months. The only solution now is probably to take the justice option. I don´t have answer of B&H. No custom service!

This is my first and definitely last order from this site.
It's not reliable and do not care about customers. I ordered a pair of binoculars and it said that it will take about 7-14 days to get to me. First answer when I emailed the Customer service (july 14): "The order should ship soon..." Of course no updated shipping term was mentioned. That's what we can call a really interesting answer! Second reply after second email (july 18): "backorder is expected to arrive at our warehouse today..." Of course I'm still waiting! Third answer: "backorder is expected to arrive at our warehouse by the end of next month..."!
They did not even bother to keep me informed. I had to email them for the follow up.
If you want a really reliable shipping date, just avoid this site, especially when you're expecting this item for your vacation.

Since dealing with B&H, I have found that they actually listen to their customers. Quick on returns, answer questions, resolve issues. Additionally they have some of the better prices on equipment. They make it easy for the consumer, better than Amazon.

Another good all-in-one service. Relatively fast shipping(but considering the shipping price - its awesome af) and fast service in general, they compose your order and send it promptly. I`m satisfied!

The entire process follows the logical steps. The majority of text is in capitals and with a large font. Easy to anticipate the next step. Very straightforward, with all the usual options (save card, address etc). Confirmation e-mail arrived very prompt.

I have always received great help in picking or finding the correct items for my best use. I will always recommend B&H for any photography equipment.

I have been a customer of B&H's for over 20 years and keep coming back

I have purchased at least ten to 14 digital cameras at B&H, all NIKONs and one Canon Point and Shoot and a few other models that seem no longer to exist, various lenses, tripods, flash systems, remotes, etc.
I have always liked B&H's service and professionalism.

Returns are restricted in time with little flexibility if any. So, make sure that a return is done promptly.

Easy and fast! Love that I am able to use split type of payments.
Made a mistake on the type of payment, call customer service and they solve it in minutes, I re-make my purchase again in less than 5 minutes.

This is my one-stop-shop for all things tech. I know I'll always be able to find the exact equipment that I need for a great price (NO SALES TAX... say what?!).

Forget the nay-sayers, "Meh... they aren't open on Saturdays. Boo!"

B&H has a comprehensive selection with details, specs, and the most usable search tools. Educational resources like Explora are an added bonus. Most importantly, they stand behind their word-- you never have to worry about getting ripped off. They are good people and have excellent customer service. I have been shopping there for decades and I am still impressed by the level of service.

BnH is my most used website to order any electronic item. Although it started because of no tax but eventually ended up with trust on product genuineness.
The low I can see which BnH need to fill up is the offers which are similar to other website which makes not much difference anyone to buy somewhere else.
One case is that I know personally for canon 5d mark 3 which is the same price as others but instead like everyone else BnH also says discount but it is actually discounted because there is mark 4 already in the market.
As a loyal buyer of BnH I think the rate can attract a lot of business too.
