My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.
I love the expansive line of products they carry. As a video producer, I use their services a lot and they are my "go-to" for most purchases for my business. The sales staff had been very helpful with product information and helping with decision making. They run great sales, but their everyday pricing seems to be very competitive. Their website is easy to navigate and the online buying experience is very easy and intuitive.

Don't order a PC from these guys, they are just a reseller and should probably stick to photo equipment. They will not refund a PC unless the manufacturer seal is unbroken. I bought a new Samsung 9 lite and it is the worse performing PC I have ever owned. I have had Dell, Toshiba, Sony and Acer. Hands down the worst and I can't return it. Oh well, stick with Amazon on this type of stuff. I went with B&H because they were highly rated with Amazon.

I'm a newer photographer and i do a lot of portraits. I'm also a college student, so i don't have "lots" of money to be spending on new camera equipment & B&H has really good options for that. They show you new prices and used prices and also have payment plans which is really nice. They are the first ones i go to whenever I'm in the market for something new & have amazing customer service.

I have ordered from the US for other goods. Often the sales staff are oblivious of the brokerage fees their couriers charge the customers. Sometimes these brokerage fees are extremely high in comparison to the value of goods ordered. B & H's website clearly understands this and offers to collect Canadian Tax at point of sale without incurring a brokerage fee and to permit direct delivery without at collection at the door.

I liked the online help with Alex to learn which product fits my needs and camera. My only complaint is a B&W filter that is defective factory blem from a previous order and I'm stuck with it. It has compression lines in it like crushed ice. Also several other filters I ordered came in open packages and one was obviously used.

They tell you if the item is back ordered or in stock. If in stock, they send it to you fairly promptly. They have enough information and reviews usually to help one make a good choice. Even if I am not purchasing something, I often read about it on B&H. I have had to quickly cancel some orders and they have handled that all very well.

B&H Photo ad popped up while I was looking for information about fresnel lens for photography. Sometimes pop-up ads are annoying, but this was helpful and the product was at a discount, so I bought it. Impact Fresnel Spot S-Mount Attachment (10-40°) $54.95.

Never had a problem they couldn't fix... staff can be touchy at times, but will go the extra time it takes to help you understand the product you are looking for and even show you how to operate... been a customer since 1990.

Not only do these guys have everything a photographer could possibly want but they are just the real deal in so many ways. I visited their physical address downtown Manhattan many many moons ago and that was a trip. My online dealings with them since then have been a combination, amusing and impecabble because the dude on the other end of the line is a real character/personality, has a great accent straight out of a movie and i have to say that i don't shop online that often but when i do i want it to be a feel good experience and B&H did provide great shipping speed, efficiency, ease of purchase and good phone support also.

Once in a while they are not the cheapeast but are always the most dependable for purchase or troubling shooting. Fast, quick and easy to use web site where you can see if the item is in stock or not and if not the estimated wait time. With Payboo I can save the state tax and being that I live in California that is definitely a good thing. B&H seems to carry the most things that I need. Just wish they had order numbers for bulk film orders so I can order by the carton that stores much better in the freezer than individual boxes of film. Yes I still use film as it has a look all of it's own.

Ordered a home theater system because they had the best price. I was hesitant because my only previous experience (camera purchase) was somewhat bad also due to persistent and aggressive upselling. This time the order did not ship on time, and when I called the customer service simply did not care. Nothing was done, no apology, it shipped late and that was that. The customer service was somewhere between apathetic and rude.
B&H isn't the worst company out there, but they are low on my list for future purchases.

If you need quality B&H is where to shop. As an Apple nut, I've saved more than $1,000 on computers, watches and SSD's in less than 6 months. Shipping and taxes are part of the deal but I love the prices and the products.
