“Urgent: Misdelivery Issue and Fraud Concerns”

My name is Marco, and I'm from Brazil. I made an international purchase on the B&H website on 11/26/24, with delivery scheduled for 11/27/24. I work in content creation and recording for the internet, and I purchased an SSL2 interface. The delivery address was in Kissimmee, FL. This order was to be brought to me by a friend. I tracked the delivery on the B&H website, and the package arrived on 11/27/24. I contacted my friend to confirm if everything was correct. To my surprise, the product didn't arrive. I checked the FedEx website and saw that the package had been sent to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503. I contacted B&H to report the issue, and their response was that the product had been delivered and that nothing could be done. They said their website confirms delivery data before completing the purchase, which didn't happen in my case, as no such confirmation appeared for me. I double-checked the Kissimmee, FL address before completing the order. It's important to mention that earlier this year, I made another purchase through B&H to the same address, and everything went smoothly. However, this situation is much more serious. Outraged by this delivery error, I started researching online and found other serious reports of customers facing similar issues, and it seems that these occurrences are being completely ignored. In my opinion, there are signs of a scheme where criminals are compromising B&H's website, possibly using USB devices in places with internet access that prevent IP identification. These intruders interfere with the purchase process, redirect products to alternate addresses, and no one notices, not even B&H. I wrote to the company asking them not to ignore my report, as they have a great reputation, and this is jeopardizing their legacy. Please consider the following: How could I have specifically directed the shipment to 166 Bristol Ave, Hyannis, MA 02601, *******503? I wouldn't have known how to detail that address. I have no personal or professional connections to anyone in that region. If I had received any notification about a different address, I would have noticed the error and corrected it immediately before completing the purchase. Why was this address concealed, and why wasn't I notified? I only discovered this Massachusetts address on FedEx's website, as it was never shown to me. This situation clearly indicates a serious problem. Please understand that I am facing both a financial loss and a serious impact on my work. I am a digital content creator who depends on this equipment and trusted your store. As an American company, I believe B&H should value consumer rights. I've asked them not to ignore this issue. There are clear signs of fraud that will continue unless addressed. Finally, considering the clear security failure in B&H's online transaction system, I understand that B&H holds co-responsibility for completing this compromised transaction. I should not be penalized for the vulnerability of B&H's system. I have requested a solution beyond the responses of "we can't do anything" or "you wrote the wrong address." I need this product to continue my work. I've provided my phone number here in Brazil in the hope of a real solution to this issue. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a satisfactory response from B&H.

I've been searching the web for some specific items. Numerous stores were out of stock including Amazon sellers. I Googled the specific items and B&H Photo came up with the parts in stock along with FREE shipping. Looks like I have a new store to buy from.

I've been ordering all my DSL camera's and supplies for over a decade from B@H Photo Video without a single complaint. I shop and compare and it's hard to use anyone but the ones I can trust to get my orders correct every time for this long. Their site is easy to use and full of technical advice that I can trust to make my major decisions with. I have purchased over two dozen Canon camera bodies and L lenses through this store and received hundreds of accessories without a flaw or problem!

I've purchased cameras, lenses, gimbals, computers, external hard drives, printers, and cartridges and have taken advantage of their used equipment purchase and buy-back features just to name a few of the cost saving items in their arsenal of of features. Nobody does it better.
And now with "Pay-Boo" the tax savings is icing on the cake.

I only shop at B & H for my photography gear needs. Buying something is really easy.

I only have three things that I don't like:
1. The photos posted for professional gear are abysmal; no quality control seems to be applied, and the reason this is a problem is that other people looking to buy that gear will be taught that bad photos are great. That's bad for photography.
2. Shipping. Takes too long to get an order unless one forks over a ridiculous amount of money. We already spent a ton on the gear, so we sort of need a break in shipping since there are no local stores anymore.
3. I get charged extra money for returning something. That's just predatory and unnecessary. If something isn't marked clearly, and it turns out to be the wrong item for what I need, I shouldn't be charged for sending the item back in its original packaging unharmed. I would understand being charged if there's damage to the product but when no damage was done, it is not cool to be charged extra.

Thank you for your orders and this feedback. Product images on our site come from our suppliers and our internal product photo studio. Image quality is very important to us, but it's balanced with ease of loading across a variety of browsers and customer connections ranging from super-speedy to snail-like.

We make every effort to ship the say we receive an order as long as it gets to us before the daily cut-off time. Thereafter the speed of delivery depends on which shipping method a customer selects, and the shipper. Most items can be shipped with free shipping within the "lower-48" US states and speeder rush service is available, at a higher s&h fee.

There is no charge tor return an item unless it does not conform to our return policy, Then, k a restock fee may be applied. I trust this store as all the time that I have interacted with ti it has given me nothing but the best of its work. I am a loyal customer and I have never been disappointed. There are a few hiccups here and there such as a slightly late deliver but that is not the main concern because what I care about is what I am receiving, is it good or not.

I've had great experiences with B&H customer service as I search for the right piece of equipment. So far! (my purchases have had hit-and-miss compatibility issues so I've needed more than usual customer service help!) I am hoping this continues as I see others with difficulties but for me, it has been a great help as I build my online school studio.

B & H has always been a vendor that I can count on for selection and optimum high end products. They stand by there sales and work with you if and when issues occur.
They are a company that has integrity.

I will always consider them when I am about to purchase a high end computer part or high end SLR camera.

I find the site about average. A bit confusing when attempting to determine if I bought the right items together to qualify for the Canon rebate, but the site works and is reasonably easy to navigate so I'm not complaining unless it costs me the 250 dollar rebate.

I've been shopping at B&H for YEARS! The selection is top notch, the prices are great, and the staff is outstanding. The ONLY time I go elsewhere is for items they don't carry. So yeah, first choice and more often than not... my final choice as well.

I haven't had a negative experience with B&H Photo Video, not once.
Great communication, great in store experience, good shipping experience, value deals and discounts. Can't say enough good things about them. They've helped with getting me the gear and info I need for my YouTube Channel and Online Business.

I have been shopping at B&H for nearly 15 years and i have always had the best service, support and pricing. I have bought both new and used and have never felt I was not being treated as a valued customer. Even with used equipment they have the same high quality of service, this is the only place I would buy used camera gear

I ordered a computer dock for my daughter's Christmas present. She provided the link, so it was easy to get what she requested. The rest of the process was just as easy. Since I had made purchases from B&H before, all my information was available in my account.

Easy to search and order. Better then going to the Store.

The store persons seemed a little confused on who or what department covered a simple Web Cam purchase. Departments are too fragmented or specialized.
To date I purchase of 4500. 00 on line, The wed gets 4 start the store 1 star

B&H is the Best! Always great prices, service, and very knowledgeable sales people if you have any questions. I have been a loyal customer for more than 20 years, it's always the first place I look, and I have never had a disappointment, ever!

Our church buys almost all of our electronics exclusively from B&H. It is usually the cheapest price, and it is usually is HERE next day! They are knowledgeable about their products and at the very least can always point you in the right direction. They are the first stop for any electronic purchase.

I've been buying from B&H for about 10 years now and I've made dozens of purchases, spending quite a few thousands of dollars. Merchandise quality is excellent.The quality of customer service can vary but is generally excellent. On the couple of occasions that it wasn't excellent, I was persistent until I reached someone who knew that the customer comes first.

I paced an order and it went all the way to the notice that I would be getting an email confirmation and that the item would be delivered in three days. After more than a week past the promised delivery date, I contacted customer service by text and asked for B&H to investigate. But then I figured I had better reorder and if the first order shows up I could return the item. The second order process apparently went perfectly, and delivery is promised in two days. If not received in four days, I will change my font to "bold all-caps scathing red" and will enter a follow-up.

Very prompt service, even when needing to return a product B and H is very accommodating. I was ordering through B and H for my Video and photography purchases in the begining mainly because of pricing. I now continue to use B and H even though there is no cost savings at this time. I am just feel more comfortable with B and H as they always are great to deal with. They also seem to be the first to have the new products before any other retailers.

B&H has the biggest filter selection I've found anywhere. Once I narrowed it down to a few good choices, the B&H Chat room made it easy to discuss the pros and cons of my filters and to make an informed choice. I love this store!
