My experience with a big basket was fantastic, I buy veggies regularly from a big basket and I have to say they have very fresh fruits and vegetables. And mostly saying that I don't have to be in a que or have to go buying vegetables from the shop, BigBasket has proved to be everything I wanted in an online supermarket for me. Helpline providers are always able to assist you with any kind of query.
My orders don't get delivered in the delivery slot booked by me and get cancelled by them without informing me. They lie blatantly and give frivolous excuses like not allowed inside by security and my number was not reachable which are both shear lies. On raising the issue with customer care only shallow promises are made and no action is taken to resolve the issues. This is not a one time experience. I have gone through this hassle multiple times over the last two years. Pathetic level of services and heights of unprofessionalism! They should just shut shop as they don't value their customer's time.
I have ordered twice from bb only as I trust TATA. One item was not delivered, cash not returned.
Response to queries slow. Customer service could be much better. It helps customer to continue the relationship.

I have ordered vegetables 3 times and the quality is not at all good and we can say worst and even though after receiving complaints, they are not charging their quality procedures. Just removed the app from my mobile.
I'm a bb star member but i'm not getting any slots even when the app shows that slots are open. I've tried to talk about this problem many times but it's constantly ignored. Secondly i'm being charged for delivery which was promised that bb star members will NOT have to pay any delivery charge. I'm very disappointed with their attitude.
Most useless app. They don't place the order on time. Even they don't even bother to give any update on that. It can be more than 1 hour 30 mins. Either you have to wait or cancel your order. Very bad experience...
For any issue their only solution is refund of money. You raise any complaint and you get money back. They are not bothered about customer satisfaction.
In the words of organic they sell normal vegetables and charge higher prices

Milk is higher by Rs 2 compared to market price and they also charge Rs 1 per pack for delivery.
Please do not go with BB. They only look for volumes and not quality
I had a horrible experiance with BB. They deducted all my advance with them during lock down. Nothing was delivered to me. Now there is no action from their end evan after chasing them for the last three months.
In every order me and my brother placed till today not one was delivered properly. Always some kind of excuse, inventory issues, item missing, product damaged in transit, or wrong delivery.
We thought they will eventually fix it, even after 4 months still the same. Today for an order, the delivery man is saying that he forgot and left the ALL the items in office and he marked the order as delivered.
Useless shopping experience. Switching to JioMart.

I ordered Vanilla Protein Powder and I received atta with insect. I returned it and Big Basket is accusing me of changing the product to atta. They did not investigate the delivery guy or the management where the product is kept, they just assume I changed the product.
I feel defeated because no one was open to listen to reason. Bunch of irrational people.
It's a big big NO from my side on ordering veggies and fruits from Bigbasket. The green were all yellow and smelly, fruits were raw with no taste. Never ever in my life have seen a whitish pink beetroot from inside. What a waste. Had to throw everything out. Even the tomatoes were plastic. I won't suggest anyone to expect fresh veggies from there.
I had ordered for 1 kg tomatoes and they were fully green, not i good condition as well as only 750 grams were delivered. Even i ordered bananas which were smashed completely. They cheat on quantity and quality both...
Therefore i would request the management of big basket to work on it.
Very poor and pathetic service. Order has been cancelled by Big Basket and they don't even bother to inform us. Their time slots are for 2-3 hours that also in the middle of the day, we cannot select the time slot also, for this customer has to wait and sit for the order at home. They will refund the money in wallet instead of bank account. Why the customer will try again for Big Basket.
Using bb since 3 years. Disappointed with recent orders in Bigbasket. I ordered tissue papers but received different product. I ordered "Just bake" bread and got it without an expiry or manufactured date. Last one was Kisan Ketchup, even that doesn't have an expiry or Mfg date. How bigbasket is allowing to deliver a product without these important details? If I rate the product as 1 or 2, bb team is not publishing the rating or reviews. If I give 4 or 5 rating, they are publishing it.
I have cancelled an order because they changed the order and removed one item which is essential for me.
I requested them for refund to my bank account but they did not done even after 23 days and customer care people are not responding.

No counting of the selected items is done. Delivery people start unloading the items in full speed, like Cow's Grass Sacks. They do not even give customers a chance to ask then about the total no. Of items... Now, in the name of Covid, payment is being taken at the time of order by BigBasket, so that they do not come in to burden of payment after delivery. But, does that mean they will behave like this?... as a result, already 2-3 times, Items were found Missing.

Today when I contacted customer care of bigbasket, one Mr. Neel Kamal was representing bigbasket suddenly hung up on me without giving any type of reply. It seems bigbasket management did not imparted proper training to their customer care personnel, regarding how to behave and speak to customers. This is very pathetic and rude behavior of customer care personnel is not at all accepted.
I hope bigbasket management will wake up and take proper action on such rude behavior customer care personnel...
I have ordered vegetables and rice from this site. Almost all vegetables are close to spoil(not at all fresh) and rice packets are out dated and smelling very worst. When i raised return request they told me to wait by saying some hopeless reason. Two time i ordered from this site and both the this happened to me. Don't order from this site and get cheated.Not worthy of 1 star rating also.
Apple 255 for 6 piece of very small size and was rotten when cut. Rotten oranges and were very bitter, grapes are very sour. Kiwi were rotten bananas were rotten. I paid more than 1200 rupees for these fruits and they are not worth even 500 rs. Guys purchase fruits from radi on your street instead of purchasing from Bigbasket.
Big basket supplied damaged products and their system is not allowing for return or exchange of items. There is no response to my message / chat. Very poor service. I have paid for items that are not usable. I request bigbasket to provide refund for the damaged / defective items.
Worst Products and even having defect like their mosquito allout which I bought it never worked and I guess it's only water in that nothing else no smell of it no.mosquito.ia getting run away from it and it's very costly very cheap product overall and not at all effective as well. They didn't give a slot. So called them more than 4 times. Everytime they said it will be refunded within 7 days. It's more than a month. Still they don't. I think it's very cheaper way of getting customers.
Customer experience is poor. Deliver person will call saying order can not be delivered and he will cancel the order. Then you will get sms saying you have cancelled your order.
Delivery boys are controlling big basket business, mgmt team has scope to improve.
Each time I order they don't deliver it on the slot mentioned and deliver it after two days of constant follow up with them and then ending up talking to a manager, M i getting my products for free? I am paying for all of them and still have to experience worst customer, who have no idea what they are doing, I m really getting fed up now and I have to look for a different groceries site online.
We are putting request and Bigbasket cancelling order continuously, If they are not able to run there services at least in metro city then they should shutdown there nonsense service.
After cancelling order not returning to main account and returning in their wallet so ultimately the money is stuck towards these useless service Bigbasket.
