My experience with a big basket was fantastic, I buy veggies regularly from a big basket and I have to say they have very fresh fruits and vegetables. And mostly saying that I don't have to be in a que or have to go buying vegetables from the shop, BigBasket has proved to be everything I wanted in an online supermarket for me. Helpline providers are always able to assist you with any kind of query.
My orders don't get delivered in the delivery slot booked by me and get cancelled by them without informing me. They lie blatantly and give frivolous excuses like not allowed inside by security and my number was not reachable which are both shear lies. On raising the issue with customer care only shallow promises are made and no action is taken to resolve the issues. This is not a one time experience. I have gone through this hassle multiple times over the last two years. Pathetic level of services and heights of unprofessionalism! They should just shut shop as they don't value their customer's time.
Worst service delivery guy says I was at the customers door step and called the customer on mobile, me call could connect so order was cancelled and the same story he repeated next day. Though I have informed customer care that I was in the house and nobody came to deliver the products, the delivery executive is lying now I am again waiting for re-delivery and from 1 pm to 4 pm I will keep the house door open to see whether the delivery guy comes to deliver the products or not. They have cancelled my ordered saying due to operational constraints my order is cancelled. Why is big basket going so down these day first if you compare the prices big basket have high price compared to blinkit and on top blinkit is giving delivery in 15 to minutes and big basket take full one day and on top of that they lye that deliver attempted ridiculous and worst service by Big Basket pls don't spoil Ratan Tatas name

Pathetic, they have not resolved my small issue of changing my mobile number dure to taht I cant contact them from past 1 year. Now a days no responce on chat. No refund for the bad products. Bad quality vegetables and fruits.
I just noticed that BigBasket always changes the prices including delivery fees just at the time of payment - the amount is higher than what is shown during checkou - so buyer beware.
The BBstar membership is a rip off - does not offer any value at all. BB keeps changing its terms and conditions. I was supposed to get cash back every month - however nothing credited so far.
Customer service is a joke - doesn't exist in BB
NEVER deliver on time. You will spend all day waiting for them while they keep randomly changing their delivery slots. And then charge you if you want to cancel your order.
If you don't want to get cheated then stay away from BigBasket. They are just a #BigBasketCase.

At the time of pendemic when we need most to don't go outside you guys are forcing us to go out I live in ahmedabad which is metro city you can't even afford to serve such a big city where people go mostly for online shopping it's almost 20 days even more I am trying to book slots but I haven't get yet pethatic service. Atleast you can take order it may take 2-3 days but you are not allowing to checkout...
They will be charging the item price plus delivery charges for each order. And during cancellation (by BB ony)
They will refund only item price only. Delivery charges Rs. 50 will be not refunded., with delivery of order.
One more thing recently for hand sanitizers, they have lot demand.In fact they dont have stock., but they will book the order with prepayment method and on delivery date, they will say out of stock.
This is absolute cheating.
They keep assigning a different person every minute, New person comes and asks, how may i assist you. I have explained the same issue 10 times to every person assigned. I have raised a concern since morning and the poor staff is unable to resolve it. I m literally fed up with the service. They should have the record of the cust issue and the staff should focus on resolving the issue rather than asking again that plz explain the issue.

Big basket is cheating the customers. While ordering online they are taking full payment, while delivering they are not delivering all the items, and while they just tell you will get refund of the undeliverable item but they never do it. We tried to contact kalyan -Thane branch many times for refund but they have not returned the money.
Very bad online experience.
This the wrost services I have seen in industry, they cancelled the order without informing and return back the money to wallet and when I called they told me that money will refund me in 7-9 working days. My question if I order something more value like 6000-7000, so I have to wait till the money comes, and I can't use it open market. I am going to Cunsumer court for my loss!
I am regular customer to bigbasket from Mumbai. I take all my monthly grocery from them. Initaily 1st two delivery it was all good. However since this year I see duplicate products getting delivered in bathing soap and eatables, because of which i m facing rashes all over my body. I want everyone to know and stop buying products from bigbasket.
I did call them as well as mailed them my problem with all the proof, there is no reply.
I tried to order about 46 items, mainly grocery items from BB, after all the items were meticously added to cart, at the time of checking out after verifying the list, a message pops up saying delivery slot not available try later. If the delivery slot is not available and they are not able to service, why donot they inform us prior to adding the items to cart. It is mere waste of time trying to buy items from BB online.
Most pathetic service I have ever seen in my entire life! I ordered a full household item for 1900, they charge me 50 delivery charge, give me next day delivery date. They call me in the morning to confirm my address to deliver 3packets of masala@50/- each & then told me the rest of the delivery is on the way AND believe me folks, I am still waiting for the remaining items.
Reading the reviews I now feel cancellation would be my headache to recover the money paid, so I will wait for the items to be delivered & if it doesn't come by today evening then I will take proper action where their brand ambassadors too will get the message of not endorsing for such FRAUD online businesses
We stay in Malad east Mumbai. We are ordering to Big Basket Daily, their cheater sister company. They are showing everything available but after we transfer money and place order, they never supply anything. They should wind up the company and stop this Cheating business.

Always compare prices of the items with Amazon Pantry, grofers, Reliance etc, you buy anything from Bigbasket. Surely you will save minimum 10% if you don't buy from Bigbasket.
Also Bigbasket have started new game of Day Time Loot by supplying underweight fruits and vegetables and charging 5% extra by manipulating weights.
E.g. One kg any fruite or vegetables will be labeled as 1.05kg for charging extra money, but when you check the actual weight, mostly its below 1kg
No slots in time of national emergency lockdown and need. Hopeless business and service. No need to sustain business if you cannot serve the nation right now when everypne needs home delivery the most in history.
Once you place order wait for 4 days or 2 days. In case if you miss one call from the delivery boy. Your order will be postponed to next delivery slot which will ge after 4 days. If you call back delivery person will not attend call. Even if you are within the alloted delivery time slot. They would not attempt delivery again.
Doesn't matter how frequent customer you are.
Same problem i faced once before. Waited 4 days for delivery, on 4th day they said due to vehicle breakdown my delivery is postponed to next slot which is again after 4 days. Worst service.
There are other supermarket around your town has 1hr delivery service without any delivery charges. Findout nd go for it.

I had ordered from BB & the delivery was scheduled from 8pm to 10pm but the delivery guy says he came twice to my doorstep but foolish f him to not ring the bell. The delivery guy comes before the time scheduled while checking with the customer care they do not understand the problem. Disgusting service. Will not order anything from BB now on
I had ordered items online and paid using credit card. I got a delivery and 2 items were missing and when I asked customer service they told me those items are not in stock. If the items are not in stock then why did they allowed me to add those items to the basket? Now they didnt refund me the amount to my card but to thier wallet so that I have to order onemore time. This is worst service and waste of time.
Worst experience using both BB app and webportal for ordering daily need since from 10 days. But still no luck in homepage it shows slots are available but while checkout it shows slot are not available worst customer support worst it services and worst management. Even it not applicable for 1 star. I already uninstall app and will take a note in future not to use anymore BB.
Disgusting service... Fooling people around, I placed an order for Mosambi, Rotten Mosambi were kept at the bottom and Good ones were displayed at the top. Big Basket is cheater... We pay money and things are not given at free of cost. 5 KGs of Mosambi, not even 500 gms were good. BIG FRAUD
I have ordered a bunch of stuff from big basket, i have been doing for quite some time now and honestly you guys have provided the worst customer service possible.
I had ordered it on 26th of march and i was assured a delivery on the 27th.
Yesterday the delivery was again changed to 28th today but it has still not been delivered and now i received an email that it was cancelled.
Folks at my place are sitting and waiting at home as the delivery was suppose to happen today but it still hasnt arrived, neither was anyone at my 'doorstep' nor was there a call made to my registered phone number.
After i placed the order, thrice the quantity and price has been modified with no proper communication.

Guess the traditional go to supermarket to buy method is best! Things like Big Basket do not work in India. I placed an order on Sunday for delivery on Tuesday morning! Having got a text on Monday confirming delivery, I waited for the entire specified delivery slot on but no one came by. When I called the customer care, the person delivery team and said the order was cancelled. I didn't received any email notifying cancellation. Also I made a payment via Card that was taken through. They don't refund in cash so what is point of using their service!
Their advertisements on television and radio are pretty enticing and enterprise idea also appears western but they do not back themselves with resources and quality! Absolute waste of time and effort.
Also don't be surprised if the grocery arrives wet or damaged as they just throw stuff everywhere. I returned a pack of oil as it packaging was damaged only to realise that the oil pack burst when the delivery person threw it in a crate! They have also broken my front door stopper without paying for it!
Your delivery slot is for 3 hours, so you expect us to sit idle for 3 hours for your delivery guy to come? Why can't you provide the number of the delivery guy so that it becomes easy then?
