My experience with a big basket was fantastic, I buy veggies regularly from a big basket and I have to say they have very fresh fruits and vegetables. And mostly saying that I don't have to be in a que or have to go buying vegetables from the shop, BigBasket has proved to be everything I wanted in an online supermarket for me. Helpline providers are always able to assist you with any kind of query.
My orders don't get delivered in the delivery slot booked by me and get cancelled by them without informing me. They lie blatantly and give frivolous excuses like not allowed inside by security and my number was not reachable which are both shear lies. On raising the issue with customer care only shallow promises are made and no action is taken to resolve the issues. This is not a one time experience. I have gone through this hassle multiple times over the last two years. Pathetic level of services and heights of unprofessionalism! They should just shut shop as they don't value their customer's time.
Car was damaged by bigbasket van i gave the complaint but they are simply saying not our van all our neighbours saw the van also i also send the cctv footage they are not responding correctly.
I INSTALLED THIS APP TO HELP ME DURING LOCKDOWN BUT IT FAILED... I ORDERED GROCERY FOR CASH ON DELIVERY BUT THE DELIVERY PERSON AT THE DAY OF DELIVERY DENIED TO PLACE GROCERY FOR CASH AND ONLY KEPT ASKING FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT, I STAY IN US AND PARENTS IN INDIA, THEY DONT HAVE CREDIT CARD AND DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT ONLINE STUFF... FELT BAD FOR THEM WHEN I HEAR THAT THE PERSON TOOK BACK THE ITEMS AND NOT ACCEPTED CASH... NEXT THE APP INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS AN SECURITY ISSUE WHO DID NOT LET THEM ENTER IN SO THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER... ATLEAST PROVIDE TRUTHFUL REASON GUYS... BAD EXPERIENCE

Fraud orders placed from my account using my bigbasket wallet credit and all bigbasket did was deactivated my account! I lost my account as well as the amount in it.

They deduct money from the advance made to them without delivering the product. Customer care is horrible. No resolution.
This is so redicoluos that you always tell missing items after paying amount.
And second thing you keep our money in your big basket account. For that it is our obligation to purchase your items of that money n then you charge 50 rs delivery. Mere sath 2 baar ho chuka hai aisa. Har baar missing items ke paise wallet me rah jate hai, ek baar 163 rs rah gaye wallet me missing items ke fir usko wapis lene ke liye maine socha ki items purchase karti hu to 163 rs me main rs 50 delievery charges du. Or nahi to inse jyada saman lo. Or dusri baar b inhone yahi kiya maone 2000 rs tak ka saman liya wo 163 rs wapis lene ke wajeh se or in logo ne fir mere ek items missing dhikha ke fir paise apne bb account me rakh liye. Itni ghatiya service hai. Ki majboori me inke yaha se kabhi kabhi saman mangna parta hai.

And half of them are spoiled and rotten.

Apples, pomegranate and papaya rotten in the snack of items. Request a refund of the above mentioned.

They cancel few items and distributes price of cancelled items with other existing vegetables in the list instead of full refund.
Actually, I feel that big basket is good grocery shop. I take overall grocery items from it. Also we will use it for another shopping
They fast going downwards. Worst products, dirty, rotten, dry, fungus or insect infected. Seems they source their products from trash.
I ordered brocolli on 26 Jan 2022 and received bad smelling and decayed item, the item is not at all cookable and we are going to return it.
Not satisfied with provided services. As bigbasket is not at all big in sense of grocery. Quality is low and also not so reasonable..
I had DailyNinja subscription which I stopped due to bad services and unnecessary charges. I am happy to buy from the guys next door who are giving excellent service be it groceries or fruits and vegetables. Fresh and good quality with reasonable prices and surely better pricing than BB / Daily Ninja.
Worst part is that persons calling from BB give you option on either refund or purchases those who were on DailyNinja. As I opted for refund of the account balance, I was given a time line of 48 hours to complete processing and amount into my bank account within 7-9 days maximum. I even shared my UPI id which is pretty faster for bank transfers. So far its over 15 days and nothing happened. Whenever I called the Customer Care, new complaints are getting registered; the personnel will tell some vague answers or sometimes don't even reply.
I was even contacted by personnel from Payments Department, who are now not at all picking up calls or not even taking courtesy to respond to the text messages sent. Nobody so far could give a satisfactory reason for the delay in refunds (though it was not a big amount).
Worst Customer Care and Payments Department.
Through this, I urge people to move out of BB or such online Apps for daily needs but resort to the nearest grocery shops / milk booths who can give better service. Daily acquaintance is an advantage that you can even return items if you didn't like and get different items. As far as milk is concerned, BB charges extra for delivery while the ManMUL or such cooperative dairy outlets can make home delivery at free of cost. For groceries / vegetables, if you feel you are paying little higher than in online Apps, you can ensure to have quality of the products by yourself than later following up for return / refund which will take unknown time due to 'terms and conditions'.
