I've used this a couple of years. It's not so feature-laden as to be a burden to use as are many password managers that can be invasive and annoying. It pretty much just holds your passwords. But it will also hold identities and bank cards. Works great with one exception as of this writing. It's buggy with Firefox. Bitwarden told me the fault lies with Firefox, that they have brought it to Firefox's attention, but nothing has been done. Aside from that, it's hard to beat.
I have been using Bitwarden for over a year now and I love it. Bitwarden works on all my devices and generates secure passwords. I used Dashlane before I switched, Dashlane does not allow you to sync your passwords without paying Bitwarden does and its open source.
Very secure! I can sync my school account passwords with my regular passwords in the same account. Generates unique passwords, passcodes, and usernames for free on a mobile phone in the app! But the website on mobile is a computer website, so it is hard to manage because you have to zoom in and out to press buttons. But the app is awesome! Very easy to make a password and edit it on the mobile app. The website for laptops is the same as the mobile app (I like it better cuz of the bigger screen) except it's bigger and doesn't let you create custom passwords. Overall, IT'S AWESOME!
This is by far the best password manager on the market. It's free version is more then enough for most people but regardless I highly recommend spending the tiny $10/year if for nothing more then to support an incredible developer,
BitWarden does everything you need and more. It does it more securely then any other password manager I have seen. Bitwarden has browser extensions for almost every browser, IOS, Android and a Stand Alone Windows version. Data can be a little hard to migrate because most of the time you have to export your old data to a. CSV file which isn't secure but i; s easily doable or you can just start a new database.
It even allows for you to host you database and key on your own server if so choose. Yes he had a security issue with storing keys on local HDD's a long time ago but it was resolved and is more secure then ever.
I personally use and highly recommend this password manager because it will be the last one you will need for a while if not ever. The customer service is great and you can even access it through Github if you have suggestions. This might be a tiny one, or maybe by now a few person company, but it's the best out there. I for one am grateful to them for making such an incredible software and not selling out.
If you are looking for the best password manager please give this a try and I promise you will not be disappointed.
The best password manager that I've tried (I've had all the major ones) and syncs well with iPhone. Very easy to create passwords too.
