I've had my eyes on these boots for awhile but they were out of my price range. Cue Bloomingdale's… as they were on sale plus an additional 25% off. The red suede is stunning in person, amazing quality and even for a tall heel I can walk in them.
4 calls to get actual customer service, pathetic, shop elsewhere all I needed was 5 gift receipts. Finally called NY and got someone with a brain but she was snippy. I wound up printing my order and crossing out the prices and that would be sufficient. I said I would return and reorder and they were ok with that rather than provide any customer service at all.
False advertising x100! We ordered a stroller and paid extra for express 1-2 day shipping and apparently that doesn't exist! We have called and gotten false information two days in a row. The second time we were on the phone for over 2 hours, speaking w representative, supervisor, and manager, with no solution! Meanwhile, there is still an option on the website to buy and have shipped next day... this is terrible customer service. No wonder retail is a dying industry...
I was really excited to find a bag on sale at a price that did honestly seem too good to be true so I ordered it $95 from $350. The next day they cancelled this item in my order and said it was no longer available. It felt like someone had screwed up and listed the bag for cheaper than it should have been. I kept checking to see if the bag would be back online and sure enough about a week later its up there for $185. I tried calling customer service to see if they could honor my order since they had cancelled it since it was "no longer available" but of course because of covid there are no customer service reps to answer the phone. Literally there were no options to connect you to a representative only prerecorded messages.
I spent $60.00 on a bra for my finger to go through and because it was a bra, well you know. Bought a pare of Pants-$239.00 for the waist band to turn every which way, never again will I waste my money there.
I purchased a vinilla gift card. Someone other than me placed an order online. Bloomingdale's will not stop the transaction or provide any information about the transaction. Choosing to protect the fraud.
Bloomingdales (or Bloomies as my sister calls it) is too rich for my blood but I do like it better than Nordstrom or Macy's (because I think their stores are better organized and their website is good). However, if you sign up for their mailing list there are frequently 40%+ discounts if you're patient which makes it a little less outrageously priced. I must say I do love to browse =)
There is not a store in my area, therefore I have to order online only. Anything that I have ordered has came in perfect condition. Also, if I need to return an item it is never a problem. If there is a problem and you call customer service, they are ALWAYS helpful and nice which is very unusual now a days! Thank you Bloomingdales!
The worst customer service ever! Don't ever buy from this store. I love Bloomingdales however every single time i shop here the staff have always been extremely rude. Men's suit department is the worst. I had a horrible experience when I was trying to exchange a product. Will never buy from here again!
Bloomingdales advertises that items will arrive in 3-6 business days.
When I called after 2 days they said the items would not be shipped for 8 days.
I then tried to cancel the order and they would not let me. Says cancelling is not possible.
Such a scam... i will never order from them again.
I have always shopped at Bloomingdale's and loves it. Today I was there and was thrown for a loop at the clarins counter in nyc. Beware of the manager there selling her evil eye bracelets.
I bought somethings and went to return it. No one would help. If it's not a sale beware. You are being treated as if you are contaminated. Bloomies should look into this
I ordered a pair of silver shoes and received a pair of cream shoes by a different designer that looked WORN! The informed me they I would get a $300 gift card for my inconvenience bit sent $125 gift card. I needed those shoes for an invite. To add insult to injury, they emailed me the incorrect label.
Tip for consumers:
They really need to do a better job with their shipping products. There appear to be some shady people at their wear house. I’m still in shock that I received a pair of dirty, worn shoes. This is appalling!

Shop at Nordstrom. Easy to purchase and great customer service. I don't know who these customers who gave many stars. To make a long story short, by the time I talked to the supervisor after all day of multiple customer service people not helping, my item was sold out. Then the supervisor scolded me that reserving an item does not guarantee availability when I decide to purchase it. Excuse me? I was tryin* to buy it not reserve it this whole frustrating experience and in the mean time it sold out. We have the power to go to stores that don't cause this much stress so we can give them hundreds of dollars. The shoes I was trying to purchase was about $800. I am not shopping here any longer.
Tip for consumers:
Order from other stores and save time and your blood pressure

The worst service ever at Bloomingdales online.
The package was just a thin plastic bag and taped mussily the bag was almost torn, item was out. Awful.
I have to send the badly wrinkled shirt to the laundry.
I found that product I had ordered at Fsession.com is much better than at this shop. Maybe it is best suits to me.
Such low-quality service is unbelievable. I will never come back again.
One of the best website. They have free shipping for all their loyalist customer. It doesn't cost anything to be a loyalist. I had a problem with my order during the holiday. I ordered multiple item and 1 item was missing. I called Bloomingdales and they took care of my problem. Got my missing product with 3 days.
I ordered a Tissot Watch and Bloomingdales sent me a watch and a warranty card with serial numbers that did not match. They did not take responsibility for this mistake. I now have a problem with the watch and cannot follow up with Tissot because Bloomingdales sold me a false warranty.

Bought a jacket from Bloomingdales, received order confirmation a day later, with right address, but when they confirmed shipping, address was wrong. Called them immediately, for correction, had to call 4 times, every time I did so, customer service could not help, they were more interested in you taking their survey than making sure my address was corrected. Eventually, Carl the only knowledgable rep so far gave me UPS # to call and get it, now why would I spend all this time correcting their mistakes when I could just have gone to Nordstrom for impeccable service?. Regretted shopping there, would stick to Nordstrom.
The delivery guy the first thing asked for money. When I asked him if may I have look if you brought me the right one, he rejected directly saying its not allowed to check! How is possible? I asked him just to open the box and show me the bag, but he refused by saying that is company policy!
One line shopping is awfull. Merchandise comes in stages and then to go and pick it up at the store I had to call a manager to get the people to do their job. If you don't have barcode which I had the print out and they could have looked it up with my name and phone number. The employee working the on-line area did not want to help so everything he typed in my name and phone number was wrong so he said I cannot find it. When they found my merchandise I returned it immediately because I was disgusted with the shopping experience.
Tried to return men's polo and tee, First, hard to even find a sales person. Went to custoner service, and practically accused of dishonesty. "Don't even know if we carry this." When this store goes out of business, it will not be because of online competition. It will be from its own horrible service.
I always enjoy coming to Bloomingdales to shop. Got some good deals on Black Friday and I always feel treated well and the staff is always very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely much better than Macy's or Nordstrom.
I wanted to place an order on 10-9-16 and after spending almost 1/2 an hour talking to someone named Richard, I had to give up and hang up the phone. They have the mentality of they are doing us a favor by taking our order and are not very informative.
I placed my order 1 week before Christmas to make sure I receive order before Christmas so I could give gift. The Day before Christmas I receive only half of order. I contact customer service on chat. All they could do was keep apologizing. Bloomingdales doesn't reach out to you and notify you that item is on back order even if they have all your contact information.
What terrible service! The only thing they know to do is inform you if you order now there's free shipping so hurry and place your order. They totally overcharge for such horrible service. I say to Bloomingdales if you're going to give bad service maybe you should lower your prices, or invest your money in improving customer service. This is why stores like this will go under! High prices and bad service.
Was returning a handbag. Two elderly saleswomen rivaled the mean girls you meet in junior high. Interactions like this are how businesses fade and fail. Sat 7/16 afternoon westchester store. I have the money to spend, but no store can last with mean girl help.
Best of luck and consider advising your girls not to suggest my aunt "regifted" my expensive handbag. Meow

I spent 3 hours searching for perfect outfits for my daughters back to school. I completed and put in the order. No problems. I was sent a $50 gift card notice via email. Then, I received an email saying that I needed to call to verify something on my credit card. The lady started with, "Well, your order has been cancelled because we couldn't verify it." I wasn't even given a chance. Then I asked for someone above her and she transferred me out of credit to orders and the lady just continued to reiterate the same issue and then said, "By all means, please try again." So I have to place the order all over again, seek each item, repurchase.
Bottom line Bloomingdales is an antiquated brand. It happens to have terrific options, which I can just get elsewhere. So I will.
I noticed that six days had passed since my high-value item shipped, and I had neither received it nor gotten any updates from Bloomingdale's. This is not the kind of merchandise that usually goes out on "slow boat" shipping, so I am concerned. I use the link in my "item has shipped" email to go to the Bloomindale's website, to track my purchase, but their system won't let me check my order. So I phone customer service and get an automated response telling me that UPS has not provided updates "in a while," but that it "sometimes takes up to 48 hours" for them to update. That is just not true, FYI. UPS provided real-time tracking. I get an agent, finally, and she provides a projected delivery date: Ten days after shipping, twelve days after order.
Not good enough, Bloomingdales's. I will not be shopping here again.
It's Bloomingdale's, so the merchandise is pretty darn nice, always authentic, and the customer service is excellent. I've ordered from them many times and pretty much got the items I wanted by the next day. The website, however, is another matter. It's a bloated mess, and I am always irritated by using it. Once, I was doing a search, and I tried to narrow down my selection by picking particular aspects I wanted to see (black, low heel, certain designer), and the website took forever to gather the information and display it. And then it got muddled and the website appeared to stall or get hung up. So, my recommendation is don't ask the website to do too much. Keep it simple, get your merchandise, and then get out!
