I've had my eyes on these boots for awhile but they were out of my price range. Cue Bloomingdale's… as they were on sale plus an additional 25% off. The red suede is stunning in person, amazing quality and even for a tall heel I can walk in them.
4 calls to get actual customer service, pathetic, shop elsewhere all I needed was 5 gift receipts. Finally called NY and got someone with a brain but she was snippy. I wound up printing my order and crossing out the prices and that would be sufficient. I said I would return and reorder and they were ok with that rather than provide any customer service at all.
I ordered a pair of Gucci slides for my husband for his birthday. They sent me and email that I had to call to verify the order but mind you they already took the money out my account. I call and spoke to a guy and asked him not ones but a few times if he was sure I was gonna get the package before 7/15 he said yes, ok I thought everything was ok until I got a alert from my bank that they took another $270 which made an total of $542.16 that was taken out my account. So I call to find out why they took money out my account without me authorizing it, the lady had the nerve to tell me Macy does it I was like I never ordered from Macy's. Long story short found out that the shoes wasn't gonna be shipped until August so I asked them to refund me. As of now I have not gotten my money back. I have contacted my attorney. Don't ever do business with this company
I bought a purse for my wife's birthday online and it went through. After few minutes I got an email saying it got cancelled and to contact customer service. I called them and they said you put your wife's name for billing address and that was the reason it got canceled and you should try again. I did it again and this time same scenario but for security reason got it canceled. I used Bloomingdale's app for the third time with a different credit card and went through but got the third email saying it got canceled. I called the costumer service and they said we are sorry and you're not get back your money for seven days (more than $3,500) but you can order it over the phone, but they will charge my credit card for the fourth time. I guess this pandemic made the companies hold on to your money for their survival!

I'm amazed that a store that basically doubles the price on everything can treat its customers so poorly. I ordered gifts for my brothers wedding off their registry- didn't want to since everything was half price at Amazon but didn't want them to get duplicates. When I realized they had sent the order to my brothers house instead of making mine (I was bringing the gifts to the shower) I called customer service. I was told 'too late' since over 30 minutes had passed since the order despite the fact that it hadn't been shipped. They even refused to cancel the order. A man named 'freddie' who wouldn't give his last name actually told me 'too bad'. I have never been treated so poorly. I will never buy s single thing from them again.
I found this diet to be one of the best I ever tried. Laura Stein writes well and is not too wordy making the plan an easy one to implement and follow. I highly recommend this diet. I am buying a new copy to start the diet over again as I have found none as effective as this one.
I have shopped at the Bloomingdales in Manhattan and also Roosevelt Field on Long Island. Their sales people are very polite, helpful and courteous. Everything I purchased at either was very good quality. I am very satisfied with them. I have shopped at Bloomingdales for over 20 years
Bloomingdale's customer service is so abysmally bad, I don't even know how to begin to describe it-- but I'll try. Every single order I have placed has had something wrong with it-- the sales promotion never got applied, I returned an item and it was never credited to my account, their website wasn't working, items became removed from my shopping cart online even though they were still available, I ordered items over the phone because their website wasn't working and they got the wrong billing address so my order was canceled... and on and on. What's worse, customer service always seems to have a very difficult time resolving any of these issues and I spend hours on the phone with them trying to fix the problems.
I was a devoted customer and stuck through it because I love their clothing, but I just can't do it anymore. To anyone considering ordering something from Bloomingdale's, go to Neiman or Saks instead and save yourself hours of trouble.
I was placing an order online and when I clicked place my order, I got an error message on the website that said, the website was having technical difficulties and my order wasn't placed. I then proceeded to place another order with the same items and this time it went through. An hour later I decided to check my accounts order status, and saw that I was charged twice! I had two orders processing with the same items not one. I proceeded to call customer service who were unhelpful and not nice either, one even hung up the phone on me. They told me neither order can be cancelled because it's been over 30 minutes. Really? Really bad customer service. Not helpful, and worst part they speak to you like they are doing you a favor. It is the websites fault this happened, now I have to deal with retuning this package. Be careful shopping at Bloomingdales.com
I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Bloomingdale's, a retailer that has not only failed in its basic responsibility but has also demonstrated a shocking lack of empathy during a crucial time.
In the midst of dealing with my son's chemotherapy, I placed an order with Bloomingdale's, hoping for a brief respite from the stress. Upon being notified of the package's delivery, I rushed home from the hospital, only to discover that it was nowhere to be found. This failure in the fundamental task of delivering a package has left me both frustrated and disheartened.
My attempts to seek resolution from Bloomingdale's customer service were met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. Instead of understanding the urgency and emotional strain, the representatives treated my concerns as inconsequential.
Adding insult to injury, I now find myself forced to pay for an item I never received. Bloomingdale's negligence and heartless response during this challenging time are inexcusable.
I urge potential customers to exercise caution when considering Bloomingdale's for their purchases. The company's failure in delivering both products and compassion is not only a severe letdown but also indicative of a business that lacks integrity. Share this cautionary experience with others, as Bloomingdale's has lost not just a customer but also trust and respect.

Don't use Bloomingdales if you are purchasing from Australia. Customer service is an oxymoron where Bloomingdales is concerned. I tried and tried to purchase something online with no success. Many emails and international phone calls later their customer service staff could not fix the problem with the US address. Shop with Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and myriad others if you and your wallet want to be treated with respect and care. I think the main problem with Bloomingdales is that they like to rip off Australians. But if you want to shop to a USA post forwarding address they can't rip you off. Try other department stores who value their customers. Shame on you Bloomingdales. No ethics. And you have robots who can't think outside the box on the email/chat and phone lines. Nice robots, but robots just the same.
My order was placed on 12/31/13. My account was charged on 1/2/14. I checked the status of my order on 2/28/14 and the status was unpaid. I tried to call the US customer service # and it went into a loop with no one answering. I got the live chat and my status was changed to shipped. I was told it will take up to 4 weeks me to get my order.
So, i don't recommend this if somebody ask me about any shopping site. And at the same time i go through with fsession.com and they are much much better than that!
I have never ever written a review of anything, good or bad, but the online customer service experience of Bloomingdale's is so totally horrible I had to post. I opened a charge card for the 20% off. I returned some of what I purchased but they removed the 20% from everything I had purchased. I called to share that it needed to be deducted and they said it was taken care of. It was not. I also had value on a return card I wanted to use against the balance. I called and the representative said it was done and posted. I didn't think I owed a balance as a result but again, it was not done. So not only did that not happen I was turn late paying my bill for which I was charged a fee. When I tried to call again to resolve which was on my vacation because I got a late payment notification the customer service was awful. Poor comprehension by the representative and no one could answer my questions and I was passed around. I used to love to shop there but it's just not worth it.
They do not deliver furniture when scheduled. They don't deliver at all or even tell you its not coming. Absolutely pitiful. When you call them they act indignant. I will never order anything online from them again.
Tip for consumers:
Don't order furniture. You may never get it.

Beware if you order from Bloomingdales and or Macy's and return some of the items due to poor quality or any other reason you will be banned from shopping on line with this retailer. During covid none of the stores had all items in stock so you were forced to order on line. I returned said items with original receipts. Now I am not allowed to order on line at either store. I guess they are a sinking ship and they don't want to pay shipping if you are going to possibly return an item. I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars at Bloomingdales and they have the gall to do this to me! I refuse to shop at either on now. Terrible customer service anyway!
Tip for consumers:
don't bother with Macy's or Bloomingdales. Go to Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus or Dillards.
I have only placed maybe 2 orders from them, but I have been pleased when I did. It is expensive, but good quality. I was looking for an Autumn Cashmere sweater, which is a "high-end cashmere". I was finding the same sweater that I wanted on different sites. I got the best deal from Bloomingdales. It was priced considerably less than the other site I checked with. I have had this sweater for years and it is still in good quality. It is holding up well.
We just purchased a $10,000 Kluft mattress at Bloomingdale's. We decided to shop at Bloomingdale's after we learned that they are one of the few retailers that chose not to drop Ivanka Trump's line. Good for them for not getting swayed by the media hysteria. We will never shop at Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus again, which is where we typically went. While we were in the market for a new mattress, we did not even realize Bloomingdale's sold mattresses until we stopped in to support them. Thank you for sticking to your principles! You have made a new lifetime customer out of us.
I got an order online from Bloomingdales. The dress didnt fit me and I returned it. Shipping was free ( a shipping label was provided) and the money came in within 3 days! Overall very good experience!
Online prices are not as good as they are in the store for sale items. So I suggest you make the drive to a store when they have the big sales. Shipping is a bit slow but worth it when you get your amazing finds :) HUGE fan of Bloomies. But they can use some work in the online department :)
This is totally waste of money, I have ordered shoes and the size which I was ordered they have not delivered. When I asked to there customer care then they said they will replace, I sent it back but still no replacement. I have lose my whole money plus courier changes, really this is worse purchase I have ever did. I found this product again on http://www.robecart.com. I ordered and they delivered it with exact size. They are providing 24X7 customer support services and there prices are 25% lesser then bloomingdales. Good Bye Bloomingdales now I have other option for online shopping.
I placed an order for an item that was in stock, I received an email later stating the item was back-ordered, no big deal I ordered it because I wanted it. I found out over three weeks later my order had been canceled. I won't waste my time ordering from Bloomingdale's again.
Bloomingdale's is pretty good, website looks great and is easy to navigate and find what you're looking for, the prices are usually good and there are plenty of discounts and special offers to find something suitable for your needs.
I ordered a pair of Kate Spade slippers from the online shop and it was shipped to the wrong address. I wento thru customer service to assist on how I can re-ship my order and they assured me that it is possible and gave me a series of guideline to follow.
In the end, I thought I was happily waiting for my order to arrive only to find out that my purchase was refunded.
I mean, okay, I am okay it got refunded than not at all. I just hope that the process was not misleading and deceiving. I went through a series of process and waiting period only to find out that they have no way of making sure that the order will have a correct shipping destination for the second time.
I totally was disappointed and will never again purchase from this store. Ever!
I ordered a glass bowl set (10 pieces) the box arrived to my door, I lifted it up and the entire box was full of shards! Every single bowl cracked to smithereens! I contacted them and they refused to have someone pick it up. Now what was I supposed to do with pieces of glass all over the place? Completely rediculios and absolutely dangerous
Sadly, I tried to use reward points while they were still good and then Bloomingdales simply canceled the order (not the first time while using points) then points expired and they were not restored to my account. It has only been a couple of weeks. Furthermore they still have the shoes available. I used to really like Bloomingdales. They have been struggling with selection through the epidemic. However, now I am just done. I miss the old days.

refunds depend on whether you are paying cash or trying to redeem points.
I purchased a suitcase from the website on 11/17/13 and when the package came on 11/19/13 it was a set of pots. I immediately called their customer service line and they assured me I would get the correct product in a couple of days. I let a week go by before I called again about my order. Still no suitcase and assured again I would get it after my call. I have made three calls and still have not received my order or a refund. They have until 12/9/13 before I report them to BBB.
I ordered a shoe online and used my $40 in rewards. They canceled the order shortly after and said I had to contact some consumer protection number. So I called and after the verification process they said I had to make the order through a customer service agent. I repeatedly mentioned to use the $40 rewards and she even confirmed that it was on there. I asked her why my confirmation receipt has the full price without the rewards. She said don't worry about it, another receipt will come. That receipt never came and they charged me the full price of the shoe. And to top it off my rewards will expire by the time the shoes come in. The person I spoke to lied and said the final charge would be $40 less than what I paid for and it's not.
