This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
Bluehost has its limits on what they are willing to help me with and it seems to be getting less and less. I'm not a tech person so when I have a Wordpress question for a site Bluehost built, a simple offer to help would be nice. This person did help me do something very basic, but she wanted me to call a pay-per-hour line!
Originally because it was a good service. But it has changed!
I would not recommend this company to any associates or cpany partners due to poor customer service experience. Mist reps are unfamiliar with the products and se4vixes
This is lost revenue for the company. It's a nightmare to handle issues.
Poor services and disconnect with the consumer.
For price. Not its not worth it. I'll go back to hodadsy or Wix.com
It is not at all obvious how to add a database to a website, so I purchased one month of their professions designer support. They had no clue how to help. I have since hired an independent consultant and he is working through it.
See above. They were no help with the "design" of my website.
I asked like-minded website owners and Bluehost was the majority preference.
The first person I spoke with tried to upsell me a product I did not need or want. It took some time to convince him I was not interested. Finally he transferred me and the tech person who helped me with my domain redirect, adding or correcting a DNS record, got me on the right track.
I first learned of Bluehost many years ago and was one of the top websites for its product and service-type. Still today, BH continues to remain as one of the top competitors in the domain and web hosting arena.
Will need some clarity on building the site. There are some initial tasks whereas I need to know. Also, the site locked me out several times, and calculated five times, when I attempted to enter with the correct password. Interestingly strange.
Need assistance with accessing site.
Better and recommended.
I have been with you for years and I find Bluehost hosting to be good. However, there are some problems that appear and they are recurring and cannot be fixed. Also I see a flaw in the support provided especially through emails. I have upgraded my hosting ، But I did not receive any notification that the hosting was upgraded even though I paid the amount. So I did not want to bother myself and contact you, so I decided to keep to myself and stop corresponding with you or calling you.
Customer service in terms of chat is good, but sometimes we want to contact you via email, and this is not good with you.
I chose you because some features are available in your hosting and not in one om hosting, so I subscribed with you as well.
It took long to find the receipt in question. It did not appear on my Blue Host dashboard (so I thought it was a scam), and in general, I discovered months later I was being charged (a small amount) for a product I did not request. Yes, I know it is a very common (questionable) practice and you must uncheck anything you don't need before placing an order.
Had some issues with the SSL certificate. Tried to resolve with 3 different people and was able to resolve for every browser except for safari. Was eventually able to find someone outside of Bluehost staff to resolve that issue, but otherwise fulfilling all of my other needs
Had some issues with the SSL certificate. Tried to resolve with 3 different people and was able to resolve for every browser except for safari. They said we were all good multiple times but couldn't resolve for Safari. Was eventually able to find someone outside of Bluehost staff to resolve that issue.
Staff was nice at handling the situation but didn't completely deliver on what they said they did.
It provides the basic needs for hosting a website
Was unsure if there were free email accounts associated with domain name. Still unsure how much are available but I have been able to set up 3 so far without issues.
Recommendation
It was a PAINFUL experience to finally get the service and attention from the Processing unit i.e. The team who needs to approve my change email request. I had to wait over 3 weeks for someone from the unit to reply to my numerous frustrated and admittedly venting-emails. It was frustrating primarily because my website was logged out and it was during a proposal tender period and my website was locked out due to the email change request. Eventually I was assisted by the processing unit and that went well EXCEPT that the information provided was INCORRECT! And I had to once again contact customer service to help, My website is finally up once more! I am just glad to have to put this painful experience behind.
Well it's the biggest in the world isn't it? So with being the biggest the expectations for GREAT service correlate - and Bluehost unfortunately failed in this instance...
I've run my own website since 2003 and thought I would try Blue Host, starting with a couple of domain name registration transfers. It was a 2 1/2 month ordeal just to get that right. In fairness, I want to give their technical staff kudos for working hard to resolve the issues and communicating regularly. But their sales person's behavior was unprofessional and awful. She told me a lot of things to get my business and then never returned a single call. Another individual on the phone support was also very unhelpful and told me that I would have to pay all kinds of fees to point my domain names to my website when my website and its core domain name are hosted elsewhere. To be clear, BH has secondary domain names that I point to my site. This experience caused me to renew my domain name registration for the main site with the current registrar and to never even consider moving the whole website to BH. If they can't even complete a simple task such as migrating a domain name registration smoothly, and their representatives are unreachable or contentious when a customer has a problem, then I would not feel comfortable migrating anymore of my business, which is my livelihood, to them. Again, the technical staff who worked through the issue via email with me were very helpful.
Most of the phone service was horrible. One representative in particular insisted that I would have to pay more fees to point the two domain names that I had registered with BH to my website. Those fees were not disclosed when I transferred the names.
.I was considering migrating my entire business, but will no longer do so.
I first started a chat with an agent, he/she really spent time asking questions to identify my accounts, I told the agent from the beginning all what I have is the user name and password, but the agent insist to get more information asking what are the first and last 4 digits of my credit card used to pay the bill, asked many different questions, then after over 4 minutes the agents ask me for the user name what I told him / her from the beginning I have it, the agent identified the account using the user name, I wasted about 40 minuets of my time and made unnecessary phone call to my credit card company for absolutely no reason at all, after that everything went well
I followed EXACTLY what I was asked TO DO by clicking on Privacy. IT SAID I was running out of time and to pay monies An extra $25.00... By doing this ALL MY ACCOUNTS, WEBSITES WERE CANCELLED. MONIES PAID REVERSED BACK TO MY BANK AND EVEN ACCESS TO MY EMAILS WERE CANCELLED. WHEN I ENQUIRED THEY SAID I WAS COMMITTING FRAUD.
After many direct phone calls by me to the Philippines to talk to numerous people the situation was finally resolved. Still have no idea what I did to bring all this on. They said something about multiple websites. ALL OF WHICH THEY GAVE ME AT NO EXTRA COST i.e.org...net...etc.
Didn't even want them in the first place.
It now appears resolved and it is all put back together again. Took well over a week... I hope it never happens again.
I have Website designers working out it now.
I said all in above. Each tried in their own way at each time 7 or 8 phone calls by me and each time they said they had to PASS IT UP. I had to explain each time and PLEAD for help....
Googled. They were the biggest. That's it.
Bluehost are thieves!
My recent experience with Bluehost was disappointing for several reasons. I had difficulty getting my domains returned when needed, even after I purchased them for a year, causing delays and complications for my business. They essentially locked my account, then deleted it without any warning or notice, without telling me the reason why, and then afterwards kept my purchased domains for themselves. They essentially stole the domains that I bought. Which, in turn, caused me to lose a lot of money. The customer support team was unprofessional and inefficient, often providing delayed responses and lacking actionable solutions.
Additionally, there was inconsistency in the knowledge and advice provided by the support agents, leading to wasted time and frustration. I would speak with a different agent each morning, and they would always promise the issue would be resolved at the end of the day, but it never gets resolved, even with the constant reassurance. Overall, Bluehost showed a considerable gap in customer service, technical support, and professionalism. Bluehost claims they care the most about their customers, but I found that to be a complete lie after dealing with their support team for weeks. I would advise caution to those considering Bluehost for their hosting needs and suggest looking into alternative providers.

I am not the most tech savvy person so it took me a few weeks to learn how to use bluehost but after I did I was very happy with how my site looked professional and clean.
I chose bluehost because it was highly recommended by other bloggers and website owners and is one of the most widely used platforms.
Blue host is probably great for most of your clients. I was never able to complete my website, or get it to look the way I wanted it to (themes, fonts, etc.)
I did contact your Human customer service (many times). They sort of did what they could, but they mainly referred me back to your paid tutorial, (which I subscribed to - btw I'm not crazy about being instructed be ai's - I'm a human to human person) instead of addressing my issues.
Also, I couldn't ask for the previous CSR, so I had to re-explain EVERYTHING each time I called in, which was time consuming AND frustrating.
Chat did not help at all - it just referred me to something to read (which I had already read, that didn't help address my issue, either).
Basically, I gave up on my website, cancelled my subscription, & life happened. I still don't have a website (which I need). I may or may not use ya'll in the future, but I don't have time to mess with it right now.
Great reviews, your paid online tutorial was pretty good too, but it did not address how to go back to step 1 and start over so it could help me along. I seemed to be stuck in LaLa Land.
Getting a domain that I bought elsewhere pointed to my Bluehost account was a technical challenge for me. Customer service was amazing and got it all straightened out.
The instructions to point my Bluehost website to my domain simply would not work. Customer service rep got me up and running in minutes!
Price and WordPress.
I had changed my business email address. When I needed to access the Bluehost site, I couldn't receive an email verification. The staff on the chat line were helpful and we managed to resolve the matter and gain access to the site.
Very responsive and helpful team at Bluehost
The Fivver contractor I asked to put the website together recommended Bluehost.
I have used Bluehost for many years. I want to praise the online support. Even if problems arise, we always solve them quickly and efficiently which I like the most.
Fast and accurate
I read about many customer experiences and Bluehost had the best ones.
I was very impressed! I have no experience with web design. I was able to create something the whole team was proud of. That includes teenagers so that's saying something!
I was a bit reluctant to switch to using a new platform for my work email. I was told that it was not user friendly. Once I got on and started poking around, I found that it was different but not bad, not bad at all. Therefore, I can comfortably say "Change is good." Thank you.
Twice the representatives went above and beyond to fix my issues. I can't say enough about my satisfaction with Bluehost. I'm not tech savvy and they helped me with my website.
I had them before and was happy.
I was unable to link my business email account to my new Galaxy phone. Bluehost staff were able to help me find the correct info and email is working fine again.
Bluehost staff person was courteous and helpful, and provided me with contact info for follow-up with other providers, if needed.
Long time customer
The agent quickly understood what I needed after a brief description. They were able to assist with my task in no time and my mail is working perfectly as intended. Great job!
Easy to use and support is readily available.
For financial reasons, I changed my website builder and host. As I didn't want to change my domain name, I decided to continue using BlueHost as my domain provider. In my efforts to change my website host, I had to use the chat function to connect me with customer service to help me with several DNS record changes as I has no idea what I was doing. The people they connected me with were knowledgeable, helpful, and always resolved my issues.
See above. Very satisfied.
I started out with a WordPress site and BlueHost seemed the best choice to host the site. I will continue to use them for my domain provider as they were extremely helpful in my transition to a different web host.
