There is still outsourcing going on with your customer service helpers. When I called with a question or problem, the person speaking was hardly understandable. I felt bad having to have them repeat themselves like 3 times for almost everything they said. Hire some people who speak southern English... not an asian, hispanic or foreign dialect. That is why I left Go Daddy and moved to Blue Host. All of their workers spoke with some foreign dialect whom I could never understand AND could never help to solve my problems with their build system.

Information is the same money!

Two weeks ago I decided to make myself a website... For blogging! Prior to that, I knew almost nothing about creating websites. But last night the site was published and its filling with materials began. I am 65 years old, I don't know the language... So draw your own conclusions! Obviously, I will be contacting them for SEO support. I want to make it myself, there is no finance for third-party development!

They helped me get back up and running

I've been with blue hosts for a long time. My agreement expired to my surprise. There was an old email, no longer in serviceman and it still listed my administrative assistants name. The BH staff helped me through the steps to update all information and get back up and running. Appreciative.

Hard start, but gets better

There are a lot of stuff you have to figure out on your own, as the starting off is too overwhelming. The UI is a bit too convoluted, and some pretty basic stuff like learning to clear your cache should be explained. Perhaps a short beginning tutorial could remedy these issues. Once you get the hang of it, creating your site becomes fun and easy. Overall, a great platform, but needs better explanation for new users.

It's easy to get a nice-looking website online with very little time, so I can spend more time creating content to post instead of worrying about web design. Very user friendly. The only thing I don't like is how much it costs to renew after the initial great price.

Dealing with Bluehost has been an absolute nightmare. Their support staff clearly lacks training and some of them are downright lazy - too lazy to even familiarize themselves with the case they're supposed to be looking at. I was dealing with them non-stop for 2 weeks straight. The first red flag should have been their inability to onboard me and bill me - making me jump through the same hoops over and over again. I got conflicting statements from different Bluehost support staff - and it's always someone different - and they just kept doing things to make the problem worse and worse. Even in the rare event that an issue was diagnosed correctly, it would either be solved for incorrectly, or the solution would itself cause yet another problem. At one point their own employee deleted my websites - turns out the wrong ones despite many assurances - and then another Bluehost employee tried to charge me $49 to recover them. Some nerve! Later on I read that aggressive selling and scammy charges are Bluehost's MO - that's how they make their money as they no longer offer a quality product; in the end, you end up paying the same or higher than you would for a better host, or higher, only now you've lost the hair on your head out of frustration. The scamminess and lack of ethics continues: I confirmed with them upon purchase that they would refund my domain (showed them the exact domain) yet later, after I purchased, they told me that domain is not refundable (even though Bluehost staff had confirmed with me earlier that it was). Then when I told them I want to cancel my entire hosting plan, because I was sick of them, they were all of a sudden able to refund it. At that point I was done with Bluehost and wanted nothing to do with them, asked them to cancel the hosting and the domain, then again somehow the domain became unrefundable... Bluehost is running a low rate grift. I would definitely recommend it to those who want to waste their time and money.

Slow and useless

I'm dropping this review to warn you all: this company is seriously scammy.

My experience with their hosting service was nothing short of a disaster. From day one, my sites suffered from endless loading issues, constant crashes, and customer support that was robotic and utterly unhelpful. I can't recommend their service.

Heads Up: If you're considering Bluehost, keep in mind it's under the same Newfold Digital umbrella as iPage, so the same issues might come along.

I tried Bluehost for my website, and honestly, it was a frustrating experience. The uptime was inconsistent, and my site had unexpected downtimes. The loading speeds were slower than I expected, which affected my SEO rankings. For the price i expected better performance and reliability. I wouldn't recommend Bluehost if you're serious about website speed and stability.

Scam like business; "hit and run " businesses; they have a link with other "tool web site" that don't exist.
Bought theirs "services " and I give up using after 30 min!
Asked for money back … "run Forest, run " like business.
There is no one zero star options
Now all "on line" business are scam like "business", that's way is cheap to have a VPN.

Do not use the chat. They have a script, they follow it and they give up when it's too hard. I asked for help, spent over half an hour with them and when I requested some different information they just kept telling me what they thought was best instead of listening. I found an article and figured it out all by myself in the long run, but they wasted my time pretending to be helpful. The fake annoying customer service answers didn't help my disdain either.

It was one of their articles I eventually found that was helpful, I will give them that. The chat person could have sent that to me, but 🤷‍

Something like setting up a domain and connecting it with google workspace should be a 10 min. Thing. After four support requests, and 3+ hours, we are playing ping-pong with support. Just go to a better, mature platform.

What's worst - my repeated requests for chat transcripts were ignored, and the support rep on the chat "ran away" closing the support chat on me. I have downgraded this organization to 1-star.

When logging in, you asked for a verification code which said it was sent to ***.com. I think most emails end in.com. There should have been clues as the beginning to at least show the first few letter or first and last letters of the email.

I've been trying to get my sites online for over a week. One of them was online but suddenly disappeared, then was fixed and reappeared, now it's gone again. The one site is my livelihood; I can't have it going down all the time! I'm very frustrated at this point.

Terrible hosting services

Terrible hosting services. My website has been unsecured since I had it open. Email doesn't load in time so I've missed many opportunities. Worst hosting platform. None of the techs can map me through to identify the issue.
