Wonderful Help Desk

I have been a Bluehost customer for over a year and lately their server experienced a massive issue which has caused my e-commerce website massive loss in terms of reputation and sales.

Overall, this issue lasted 4 days - It started on 17th June afternoon and was resolved on 21st June 2022.

It took 6 different Bluehost agents from the support chat to finally escalate it despite me flagging up warnings and pushing to take this seriously on multiple occasions.

Some of them even said the issue would be resolved within an hour or 2, when it lasted 4 days. Others clearly implied it was my fault. This lack of consideration and concern is unacceptable.

Even when this issue escalated, it took them another 3 days to resolve it.

My website has lost 4 days of sales and half of my clients portfolio which my business will struggle to recover from.

Again, half of my clients now consider me as an unreliable website and will not work with me anymore.

I have demanded financial compensation but they clearly disregard my situation and only offer discounts on their current package.

I am extremly disappointed and strongly recommend not to deal with Bluehost.

Possibile script
September 21, 2022

I was disappointed to discover that the hosting option I acquired did not allow Perl scripting. I have recommended Bluehost for many years, and I coded sites for many customers. I only needed a simple website and wanted to add some simple scipts which did not work. Only after a few chats did someone tell me it was because the hoing option I had did not have Perl installed (even though I could see a Perl directory).

Paid bill for my domain renewal by PayPal. I have a confirmed receipt from PayPal, but Bluehost site shows payment still due. Your site is a mess when it comes to payments. Very dissatisfied.

The interaction of the GUI interface is very slow. Many times I have to wait 5+ minutes to jump from menu to home and vice versa. It has improved over the recent week; however, still has issues.

Blue Host really appears to be an awful platform and doesn't make it easy to get WordPress sites running at all. I try to use your built in Migration tool, but it DOES NOT WORK.

I just created an account and CANNOT get a single chat agent to reply and your phone support is also terrible with nobody apparently actually present to answer the phone at any time. I am about to cancel my account and ask for a refund. VERY UNHAPPY WITH BLUEHOST.
