“Gabriela in Customer Service was awesome!”

C C.
1/3/24

I haven't had any issue with this company. I only called because I forgot my login info and nothing I tried was working. I called Customer Service (had to hold for about 5 or 10 minutes, no big deal) and got Gabriela. She resolved my concerns in less time than I was on hold, lol! She was professional and friendly. Thank you, Gabriela! Sincerely, Charla C.

“This company cheats you out of your money”

Pauline E.
7/20/23

I took up what I thought was a 7 day trial only to find they had taken my money straight out of Paypal the same day. I tried to get it back with several emails only to be told there is no refund but they have cancelled the auto-renewal which was not set anyway. All I wanted was to try it with 1 card. I was told after waiting a long time for an answer that delaying sending a card by 1 day is not allowed on a trial (which it did not state) therefore I started a full membership. They clearly mis lead people in order to get their money.

Note, when you try to cancel the service, it takes you to a page that says "We're sad to see you go". However if you scroll below the bottom of the screen you will find a "Yes I'll stay" "No I'll cancel button." So your sub is not really cancelled. Once you say NO it takes you to another screen where it makes an annual offer to you. You again have to say no to this in order to cancel. I tried cancelling twice and kept getting charged before I realized this. That is an INTENTIONALLY deceptive business practice.

Signed up for a free trial and they IMMEDIATLY charged my credit card despite having a confirmation email of a Free trial as well as confirmation of the cancellation of said trial. This all occurred in the same day. The contact us by email questions do not get responded to and the phone line says "due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed" once you make it through the automated prompts. Ha to resort to reporting fraud to my bank (be sure to have them block all future charges from them!

Read the reviews. Numerous other reviews confirm that the company does not stop the reoccurring charges.
We have cancelled the account three times and the charges still are billed to our credit card.
The only way to cancel is to dispute the charges on your credit card. Perhaps when the Blue Mountain has to spend resources answering the disputes, then they will realize that it is not worth ignoring.
Unacceptable behavior!

I believed the company's explanation of the free trial which states that I would not be billed if I canceled within the trial period (7 days). However, the company billed me the day that I signed up, plus made it a recurring monthly billing. I found out when I saw the charge to my credit card. When I canceled (before the trial period was up) and contacted the company, twice, for a refund, there was no reply.

Although there's an option to join and have a membership, Blue Mountain offers many FREE ecards that are available without signing up. They have some very beautiful ones and if you search "free ecards" you'll be able to see all the cards you can use and not join or pay for.

STAY AWAY! I signed up for what I thought was a month subscription. I did not see anything about automatic renewals. I was charged for a second month yesterday and called to say I did not want the second month and I waned to cancel. They said they would stop the charge but would not credit my account,

I can't even ask a question on how to redeem my gift card without being expected to sign in, use password etc. I don't want to click or the store where I wanted to use it (in person), because I have questions, and there is no going back once I select the store - in case I don't use it right. I don't feel like this is a good product, and feel I should warn the person who sent it to me. However, since I don't want to put a negative slant on their kind and well meaning gift, I will not do this. Very dissapointing..

Worst service ever. Sent card and discovered ialmost immediately that was an old email address. Site would not allow change of address, sending to second address or simply just resend--- and the original card was no longer finadable even if to send fresh(!) Contacted customer non-service --- completely ignored for over a week until time for card to be delivered passed.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid mistake I made: if you land on the site for any reason - LEAVE as quicky as you can and mark their address for future notices as spam.

Products used:
Purchased paper card and mailed it - the old fashioned way.

Not only did Bluemountain raise their price, without notifing me, they changed my subscription from a yearly ecard subscription a yearly ecard and create a card subscription. When asked about it, I was told that they had to make price increase and that "now I am getting so much more." They will not look at my subscription history and own up to giving me a subscription, i. E. Create a Card, that I do not want or need. I do not use Create a Card. The cost almost doubled!

Very confusing cancellation setup online. Realized today that I have been billed for the last few months despite canceling. They tell me I should have gotten a cancellation confirmation. This is not in the cancellation instructions. I had to insist that they refund me for unused canceled membership. They would only refund 2/3 months I was billed. Will not use this company again

If you are into throwing money away this is the site for you. Cards not received, continued billing after cancellation. Easier to cancel your credit card than cancel with this company!

You will not be able to cancel your subscription. Ever…,.

Fraudulent. Free trial BS. I signed up, cancelled by the end of same day and my card was charged. Contacted Blue Mountain immediately refuses to refund. I gave it one star only because I had to.

I signed up in 2015 for an annual membership for $19.99, thinking I could send birthday wishes, Christmas and other holiday cards, etc. as it turned out, I was NEVER able to complete a send! Therefore, after repeated attempts, within 30 days of joining, I contacted the company and verbally requested a cancellation. Today, 1 1/2 years later, a charge of $19.99 was presented against my bank account! I contacted my bank to dispute the charge and was informed that if I wanted to dispute the charge they would have to cancel my card, issue another card which could take up to 10 days, and open a claim which could take up to 1 month! My only other alternative was to contact the company directly which I did. After a 45 minute totally frustrating period of trying to use their system, I was able to speak with an agent and only when I threatened legal action did they issue a refund (haven't seen actual refund yet) but this company is pathetic in the way the do business and I am convinced that it's actually cheaper to drive to a store and buy the cards rather than go through this disruption of my life even for $19.99!

They charged my Creidt Car $19.99 but did not warn me I needed to cancel the 7 day free trial. They refuse to payback. An e mail reminder should have been sent out.

I have never used this service, never signed up for a free trial yet I keep getting charged for either $1.00 or for $29.99. I disputed the charges on my credit card and had them blocked.

They will never let you know if you are past due so they can charge you daily interest so you owe more than what you borrowed. Extremely predatory and shady. Will not work with you at all!

I was reviewing my Capital One transactions and found this $4.99 charge from BlueMountain.com. I'm trying to rack my brain as to who this is. I looked them up on the Internet and found their site. Ecards? I must have given them my information at one point. I was able to find the email I used for the userid and request a password reset. They have a surprisingly good website because I could actually pull up every one of their charges. They show a renewal charge for every month going back to August of 2015! They DEFAULT the trial 7 day period to automatically renew! The default should be to not renew. Any merchant that defaults to auto renew are con artists and should be blocked from doing business on the internet--they should not have access to customer's credit card information. They give you a seven day trial and then start milking. And if I could remember back in 2015, this fact was probably buried in small print. Unbelievably bad business practices. I concur with all of the complaints. I wish I could give negative stars.

This site ALWAYS turns up in my "FREE e-card" search when they don't actually have any free cards. I hate how when ever I go to this site I get the impression that I won't have to pay money to send the e-cards, but when I try to personalize that e-card I am told to sign up. Ok, fine... but when I try to sign up it turns out they charge a MONTHLY FEE. A monthly fee for E-CARDS.
