I should have checked the reviews before having to write one. Refrigerator part that was described was not the correct one for the refrigerator. Originally I contacted them for a return and unfortunately I was on a two week vacation during the 30 day period allowed for returns. After my return they refused to accept the return because it was 40 days past the purchase date. Now I am out over $100 and stuck with a useless part the was incorrectly described by them.
I recently made a purchase from Bonanza and had no trouble at all. Merchandise was shipped as stated and in good condition. The site is user friendly. I believe it is the sellers that make each sales experience good or bad. I would recommend this site to others. Thank you
After searching the web for an item that is hard to find in the U.S. I came across Bonanza. I had never heard of this site before but everything was quite user friendly and not a hassle to sign up. After purchasing my item I had an excellent experience with the seller! Merchandise was received as promised, in excellent condition and timely service. Buying with confidence via mail is an extremely important aspect of any mail order service and I am happy to have found Bonanza and will be using it for future purchases!
We are happy with Bonanza web site as a seller so far.
All transactions are easy and customer service is helpful.
Even we do not sell much on this site but a new source for us to expand business.
Thank you BONANZA!
I was looking for an alternative to ebay and thought I'd try Bonanza.
What a scam. It's free to list but your listings are INVISIBLE unless you agree to pay a "subscription fee" to Bonanza. No other online marketplace I know does this.
Unlike ebay, Mercari, Poshmark, Depop, Vinted, and almost every other platform, you have to pay a fee to get your listings visible, whether or not your listings sell. They make money no matter what you do.
This is not openly disclosed until you wonder why your listings never get any views. Then Bonanza sends you an email encouraging you to purchase their "subscription" so that people can actually see your listings!
What a waste of time and energy. From the comments here, it's clear that, even after you pay, you never get any sales.
Junk site.
Hello
Don't waist your time setting up a seller account, go to eBay.com
If you are not paying for a store and advertising you will get very little or no sales at all.
I don't have a store on ebay and still have sold over 700 of my item over one year, only 3 on bonanza.com
Was sent an email saying my order for a food processor was processed, money taken from my account. I sent an email to them (Josh Conner) at Bonanza saying where's my tracking number. He emailed saying oops, "... I've been in the hospital and just learned this item sold, and however I already sold this Cuisinart and was unable to remove it from my booth. I am very sorry." Says I will get a refund. I should have known such a low price and free shipping was too good to be true. Disappointed.
I bought an expensive jacket that doesn't fit. The seller states that they accept returns within 30 days but will not help me return it. I realize that is on the seller. However, I used the link to request Bonanza customer support and they have not replied to two requests for help. And it's been a week (says they will reply within 48 hours). Beware if you get a bad seller that you're basically screwed. What a waste of money :( I will be telling everyone I know what a scam this site is.
Ordered a Fitbit Versa pebble through Bonanza (Zoom Electronics). Received promise after promise from both Bonanza and Zoom that the item would be shipped. Never happened. Why Bonanza keeps Zoom, when they do not deliver, is a testament to the Bonanza site, as well. When I finally said I wanted my money back, the airwaves went silent and I never heard from either again. I opened a case with Paypal and my credit card company. This is a scary buying option. From now on, I will stick with reputable, honest firms.
Hi John B., we're sorry to hear about the trouble with your order. Bonanza expects sellers to be responsible and communicative regarding buyers' orders, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Please contact our support team via email at support@bonanza.com. They are best able to assist through that channel, and they will be glad to help!
Every experience I have had on the site has been a positive one. I highly recommend them! There is quite a selection in every category imaginable. Sellers ship quickly. I personally enjoy checking out their vintage items.
They rip sellers off, triple charging your credit card, they tell buyers to file instant disputes, and when you have a problem their support will deliberately lie to your face. That guy marc is a scum bag!
Terrible site. Take no responsibility for sellers actions. Customer service is polite, but are worthless, just sending you a bunch of links that do nothing for you. Will never make the mistake of using this site again.
I would just like to add a Serious Caution on selling on BONANZA. I made a few sales there and then got a bunch of no pay's. Guess what. There is no way to cancel an order for non payment and Bonanza wants the commission anyway. They ended up billing me a lousy $32 for orders never paid for and thus not shipped. I consider them to be nothing more than scammers. How do you charge commission when payment or non payment goes through your site and you can clearly see it was not paid for. I would steer clear of BONANZA
Hi Lothar M., we understand your concern. Sorry for any confusion here! Sellers on Bonanza can mark orders as unpaid and request refunds on the final value fees for a cancelled transaction, up to 90 days from the date of the transaction.
This help page has instructions on what to do if a buyer does not pay, and how to request fee refunds: https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/offers/cancel_transaction_on_bonanza#refundFee
If you'd like further assistance with the process, please email our support team at support@bonanza.com and they'll be happy to help!
IN case you have not noticed, all the replies by Bonanza staff are fake. Fake in the sense of completely non-responsive and fake because it looks like some computer generated thing.
There is no option on their site to cancel.
UPDATE: they have responded to my review but not to my endless e-mails demanding cancellation and a refund.

Total scam! Don't buy anything form them. I would not be a bit surprised if the people running the site are most of the sellers. I bought a gift card that was never sent and the support team could care less; If it was not for pay pall who knows when I would ever get my money back.
Jack, we are sorry to hear of your experience. We definitely want to address any issues you are having or have had on our side. Could you please provide more details to support@bonanza.com so we can get to the source of the trouble? Thank you.
I love reading reviews from people. First of Mark D. Is full of crap and if he/she thinks we believe a word their saying then just wow. Secondly, to everyone that is writing a review(good or bad) about a product/buyer that was purchased on the site should just be kicked off this site. The site should be reviewed not some random seller on it... you people are $#*!ing stupid. Lastly, most of the 5 star reviews are fakes planted by the site plain and simple. Overall this site looks like bad news because most of the people on it are $#*!ed. When you have a website where its main users a $#*!ing stupid then the site itself is gonna suck.

I would like to get an answer from Bonanza period. Their customer service is horrendous. They are shielding themselves from the customer. Which only tells me they have something to hide. Can someone contact me about my problem purchase?

Have no idea who they are! But I do know the just tried to run 6 debits through my bank account for thousands of dollars! Funny thing is, I only use this account for my mortgage and nothing else so it was very easy to track! Total scam of a company! Would love to know just how stupid do they think people are?
Dear Christine, it sounds like your credit card was stolen and it is being used by the fraudulent party in an attempt to set up an account/make a purchase on Bonanza. We would highly recommend that you cancel your credit card immediately. If you can please contact us at support@bonanza.com we can follow up on our side.
They had an item I could only find in Canada and Australia but most don't ship to USA. This company did. Yay! My item arrived as described, on time and in great condition. The description said the box would be a bit beat up. It was but it was shipped within another box, in great shape so the chance of losing parts was slim to none. The item itself was in new condition. I would definitely recommend this company and will shop with them again! Very pleased customer!
Listed items for sale 4 weeks ago. For 3 & 1/2 weeks pg stated:
Your booth is awaiting review by our team, it should be activated within the next 48 hours. Items are legitimate & on 3 other sites.
Contacted customer service 2 weeks ago & still haven't received a reply.

Answer: Not fake but not a good site to do business
Answer: Ebay. I always get great customer service from ebay... as a seller. Bonanza provides no customer service; if you have an issue, they just keep sending the same "canned" response over and over... and I had one sale on Bonanza for which they charged me a 17% fee... then they took $25 more out of my bank account... I have addressed both of these issues with Bonanza... Regarding the huge 17% fee... they sent me about seven (7) of the same "canned" response. I wanted a lesser % fee since their website claims they always charge the "lowest fee possible"... just one "canned" response after another... If they would have offered a more reasonable % fee in order to provide me with satisfactory customer service. I would have been satisfied; but they did not... after the seventh "canned" response... I closed my booth... And NOW... EVEN WORSE... they took an additional $25.00 out of my bank account... and for what I have no idea. I called the phone number which was listed with the transaction on my bank account and of course got a recording. I left my information, and it has been four days... and still no response. When you call ebay, you speak to a live person who works to solve your concerns... I HATE BONANZA... and you would think that BONANZA would not want RIDICULOUSLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS... but they do not care. I moved all my ebay items to Bonanza to see if it was a better experience than ebay... ebay's fees are 10%... and they have a much larger shopping audience... and they have real customer service people that you can talk to. Bonanza has a much smaller shopping audience, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and their goal appears to be to charge sellers the most enormous fees that they can get away with. I never get online to post negative reviews... I generally get online to post about great customer service and great products... I like to keep things on the POSITIVE... but this is just not possible with BONANZA... they are like a Phantom Selling Platform... totally disgusted. I will be reporting BONANZA to the BBB and to the US Attorney General's Office. Very disappointing experience.
Answer: Sellers can create and offer coupons with zero limitations ("Sell on Bonanza > Edit booth options > Discounts & Coupons").
Answer: I set up my account with Bonanza and their platform is pretty much the same as setting up an account with eBay, Etsy, Amazon, etc. What problems are you having?
Answer: I have never seen any benefit to paying extra for advertising. Bonanza just doesnt do it like ebay does. Have you ever seen a Bonanza ad on TV? Nope. And therein lies the problem. Nobody will shop there if they havent heard of it. True many sellers are leaving ebay (or sadly being kicked off by the BS) but nearly everyone goes to Bonanza to SELL not to buy.
Answer: Yes and the answer be sure if ya are absent minded of being taken advantage of..
