They disguise the site URL to look like the direct hotel website in Google search. It wasn't until I saw the $150+ "tax and recovery fee" on a $214 reservation that I realized something was off. By then I'd already booked. I canceled the reservation, but the site isn't clear on whether or not they refund the exorbitant fees. For comparison, booking directly on Marriott had $34 in government taxes and fees. Bookonline.com is crazy.
Tip for consumers:
Don't. Just don't. Book anywhere else - directly with the hotel, Priceline, Booking.com, Truvago, Kayak - anywhere else.

I got through very quickly to the mariott resort in wailea and ezekiel walked me through the reservation effortlessly. A pleasure to work with him as he was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient

So up in Cottonwood there is a thing called Thunder Valley Rally I called I talked to her she got me in as she's telling me there are other people trying to book that room at the same time and she got me booked got me hooked up with a room with two queen size beds she was very polite very friendly very helpful and on top of that she got me the room when you know there's two rooms left and she did it for me great job she was very good great experience thank you again for getting me the room

Amanda's voice was wholesome. She was also thorough and knowledgeable. The only improvement that I would recommend is that she mention the potential cancelation fees before taking the credit card.

I couldn't find a hotel in a beach community during a busy summer weekend. Carol was about to find me a hotel that was a one - minute walk from my location of interest for a great rate.

Scam all the way. Think you're talking to the actual hotel only to find out your an expensive middleman. I canceled the room and called the hotel directly and got the same room for much less

Tanya was awesome in getting the reservation settled! We lost electricity and couldn't find a room in Canton, Athens, Terrell, Lindale, or Wills Point.

I was sent to the hotel to check to see if I had a reservation and the automatic answering wants a confirmation number and when I couldn't produce one hung up on me

Hung up on me when I was disputing the room rates. Online is quoted $400, on phone was told price would be over $1153. When I questioned the difference, was told to book online and HUNG UP!

We requested a pet friendly room only to arrive to the hotel telling us that you didn't inform them of our pet so they wouldn't give us the room you said was pet friendly.
